A hero with a flawless record who’s internally screaming the whole time? That contradiction is the heartbeat of Let This Grieving Soul Retire, and it’s why we had to talk about it. We’re joined by Professor Tuck, Mira Jane, and Playboi to review the series from the ground up: the vow between six childhood friends, the treasure hunter dream, and the awkward reality that Krai Andrey never wanted to lead anybody. The result is a comedy fantasy that keeps rewarding him anyway, building a legend around accidents, misunderstandings, and a party that’s way more dangerous than their “mastermind” seems.

We get into what the show prioritizes and what it doesn’t. If you’re here for wall-to-wall battles and clean power scaling, we’re honest about the tradeoff: the action can feel like seasoning on top of the jokes. But when the animation hits, it looks crisp, and we talk through the moments that prove the production has real punch when it chooses to swing. From there we dig into the main question: is Krai a smart subversion of the overpowered protagonist, or is he coasting like a fantasy version of “right place, right time,” with vibes that remind us of The Eminence in Shadow and even Overlord-style projection?

Then we tackle the character talk that everyone argues about. Tino Shade is fun, capable, and memorable, but we also discuss how fan service framing can become a distraction and who that impacts when you’re recommending an anime. We close by spotlighting the supporting cast that keeps pulling us back, especially Liz Smart’s combat dominance and the sisters’ dynamic, plus why Sitri Smart feels positioned as the quiet center of the story.

Welcome And Setup

SPEAKER_01

What up, gang? It's the Zone Podcast back at it again with another review. Uh, I'm Jeff Like the Stream. Feel free to call me JB. And joining me today, we got Professor Tug, Mira Jane, and Playboy, and we're gonna be talking about let this grieving soul retire. Let's go ahead and zone in on it.

Plot Premise And Core Hook

SPEAKER_01

So, we got six childhood friends making a vow that one day they'll become treasure hunters and eventually grow to be the strongest heroes in the world. During his first quest, our protagonist, Cry Andre, uh, realized he isn't cut out for the job. So, even so, his friends make him the leader and underpower in the face of great expectation, Cry embarks on this reluctant hero's tale of glory, headaches, and just really just want to retire early from all the shit.

Quick Reactions From The Panel

SPEAKER_01

Before we get into the characters, talking about the characters, let's go around the room. Let's go ahead and start with Tuck. How you feeling about let this cream so retire?

SPEAKER_02

Oh my god, I actually like the show, even though I didn't get to see episode 20, because Crunchyroll was tripping. And I really wanted to see it because when I looked it up, it said episode 20 had some things I needed to see. So overall, the accidental legend is what the name of the show should be. But it's a great show, it's it's full of hilarious things, the plots, the ideas. It's like the reverse of One Punch Man, really, if you think about it. And that's what I enjoy. It wasn't nothing too crazy, yeah, but it was it was also like just an overall good show.

SPEAKER_01

I feel that Mary Jane. Glad to have you on the show as per usual. How you feeling about what this grievance over tire?

SPEAKER_00

So it was actually late. It's like, it's like, it's all right. It's not I agree with Professor Puck. He's a he's a legendary accidental.

SPEAKER_02

Well, can you say that one more time? That they didn't hear you.

SPEAKER_00

I I I don't wanna I don't wanna say it again. I'm not saying it again. I'm not saying it again.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not um You could just say I'm amazing, that's all.

SPEAKER_00

That's not what I said at all. Didn't even say that. That's not you know what? For what you you're right, but you didn't put it.

SPEAKER_02

You thought it though. Because when you think of something, you think. And when you thought of something, you thought. So you thought it.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, okay. You know what? I shouldn't have even said it. You know what? I take it back. I don't agree. I shouldn't hate the show. Forget the show. What you know what? Just forget it. I hate the show. I I take my whole opinion back. Nah, I'm joking. It was actually pretty decent, for real though. I really did, I do agree that it makes no sense how he even even where he is at. Everything's an accident, everything just he said never mind. I'm not gonna get into the mechanics. He just he should be a legend. He's pretty cool. And that's the show to me. I don't really get too much depth from it, though. It ain't hit me like uh how I got reincarnated as a swamp. Didn't hit me.

SPEAKER_01

I feel that. Nah, facts. Yeah, like I agree with you, Mirajane, to where honestly, it kind of felt like there wasn't a whole lot going on for the most part. I mean, it was still good, but it just felt like there was just not a whole lot to latch on to. But uh, I'll get back to you in just a moment. Playboy, how are you feeling about this show?

SPEAKER_03

What's up, mate?

SPEAKER_01

You hear me? I got my yeah, I got all right.

SPEAKER_03

Uh so it's I mean, it it is it's very comedic. It's it's it's got like, you know, I like a lot of action packed stuff, so I was looking forward to a lot of fights.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't see yeah, you know what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_03

They did have fights, but it wasn't like nothing revolved around it. It was more so like comedic release if anything.

SPEAKER_01

But hey, though, like when some of them did get active, the animation was kind of crispy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they were they was bumping, they definitely got the potential to be bumping on that motherfucker. So maybe in the next couple seasons we might see a little bit more. Maybe there's just like they're gonna give up the juju Kaisen feating. Maybe it's all funny in the beginning and start killing niggas next to VC or some shit like that. But other than that, it's still kind of funny. Now, I I was now first watching it. My impression was I thought I saw something. You feel me? Like, I didn't realize, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't really it didn't click until like a couple episodes later. I was like, okay, yeah, maybe just it got a little bit of fan service, but it ain't got too much, it don't got more than I wouldn't say it got more fan service than uh it was fairly modest. Yeah, it wasn't it wasn't too much.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And with that being said, I'm gonna go and get I'm gonna get to that in just a moment, but let's go ahead and break down these characters like a crap.

Cry Andre And The Accidental Hero

SPEAKER_01

Let's start off with the protagonist himself, Cry Andre, age 20, level 8 treasure hunter with a second moniker, thousand tricks. His profession is still unknown, and he's the leader of the grievance souls party and the clan master and founder of the first steps clan. So, you know, the guy like a clan within a guild type thing going on. Uh, he's famously known with absolute defense with that is immune to all attacks, and he is and he has a godlike foresight, so to speak. Uh, he's notoriously known as a man who can finish a difficult mission with 100% completion rate. But in my personal notes, I dare say he's like a certified harem protagonist that's uninterested in all the girls and debating if he should be put on frauduler because he's kind of reminding me of the likes of Sid Cogano and I School Gone with how the plot gives the MC multiple layups. Uh Professor Tuck, you got anything to add on to that? Because I know you're gonna feel the type of way about that.

SPEAKER_02

Like, I like I like that you said Sid. It's very reminiscent of Sid. The funniest thing to me, bro, out of for the whole character arc of them. The fucking vacation shirt, bruh.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like are you running, bro?

SPEAKER_02

So funny, bro. Huh?

SPEAKER_01

No, you you got it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I just that's that's one of the best things. My boy so relaxed that he couldn't even see how much danger he was in, no danger sense. It's like, yo, that's just a good character, bro.

SPEAKER_01

I feel you, uh, Mirajane. Anything to add on to him?

SPEAKER_02

He got that drip too, by the way.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, true, true, true. I mean, that's how I'm like getting that same vibe as sick cognito, like say what you want. But hey, yo, they got that shit on though.

SPEAKER_02

It's the the rings with the little connecting things, like that that's cool. Yeah, and and the earrings.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, they can they definitely get that shit on though, but uh yeah, Mary Jane, how you feel?

SPEAKER_00

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. He he does got the drip. He do got the drip. He do. I ain't gonna lie. Um I didn't, he's funny, he's just a funny goofy. Like, Prey as a character is just an act, he's a mess waiting to happen. He sent his protege into a dungeon, he accidentally chose the hardest dungeon that was like level three for his protege. And the level three mission was the hardest freaking mission out of all the other missions he could have chose. And then as she's on the mission, when someone else mentions to him, oh snap, don't you think that this could be a little dangerous? Is when he's like, Oh, snap, this could really be dangerous.

SPEAKER_01

Like, it's giving Goku and Gohan in the cell saga.

SPEAKER_00

Whoa! Exact. Thank you. You see it's that, and it's funny and it's cute, it's kind of entertaining. I think I just was I really think I was looking for more cynicism, and I just I want I thought he would be a little more cynical just because of the title of the show. But I also realized things get lost in translation. True, so I don't know, but like I just thought he was gonna be a little bit more like over it, and that's kind of what I was looking for, and I just don't think he has the over it enough, in my opinion. Like, I I want some more iron rolls, you know, I want some more size, some more this this bullshit. How the fuck did I wind up in this situation? You know, kind of what I was expecting from this character, and because I didn't get it, I think like it kind of let me down. But overall, you cool. The OP, you know, the OPness is there, but it's also a front too, and I guess because it's picking on all of the things that the tropes that we've gotten so accustomed to, it's like I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Listen, I'm sorry, but I'm still mad at Kokasu when he recommended my instant death ability because it's not that bad until you get over the fact that this main character in this different show, his ability is he can literally look at you, tell you to die, and then you just die. All he has to do, he's literally like Saitama, at least Saitama throws a punch. This dude just gotta show up and you're dead.

SPEAKER_00

You know, it seems in a notebook.

SPEAKER_02

It's the same as writing it in a notebook.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but at least you have to write down in the notebook like the little ever, like, okay, there's like some stipulations and whatnot.

SPEAKER_02

Right, there was some rules to that, yeah. You gotta find out their name. Ain't nobody got time for that. I just want to be like, duh.

SPEAKER_01

Nah, this dude is like, he's so OP with it, like he don't even like he imagine this. Imagine this ability evolving to a point to where he don't even have to look at you. He all he gotta do is like think about you, and you're dead.

SPEAKER_00

That's that's that's too much.

SPEAKER_02

That's too you can't even play around with people and say, just kill yourself.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you can't do nothing.

SPEAKER_02

You're my fault, grandma. Damn.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like let's be careful with uh praising. Hold on, hold on, Playboy. How you feeling? How you feeling about our main character? Uh Playboy, you still with me?

SPEAKER_02

I guess you ain't like home.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, no, my bad, my bad. I'm using my PlayStation 5 controller thing off topic. No, but um his I had it took a little minute to get like well, honestly, the first episode at the end of it when he uh when it was revealed that he was the clan leader, he was dying the whole time. I knew right then he was on bullshit. He needed okay, yeah. He wanted them. He hadn't but he might have a reason, so I gave him a chance, right? He haven't well, his only reason being I guess he just don't want to do this shit. Because since the beginning, since the flashback, when they made it, he was trying to back out, and they was like, nah, you can be a leader, like so. He was kind of just to be honest, is it really his fault?

SPEAKER_01

It really ain't. I don't I ain't gonna give a whole fault.

SPEAKER_03

So I'm saying he didn't want to do this shit.

SPEAKER_01

See, that's why I can't really say that he's on fraudler because he didn't want to do it in the first place, but he kind of gave me that fraudler vibe that would kind of remind me of Sid Cognot to where dude literally just made shit up as he went, and everybody just rolled with it. In fact, sometimes he'll question you in a way to where um you would think that uh he like what how can I explain this? It's like you're questioning him about a plan that he might have, and he'll question you, okay, what's my plan then? And then you feed him the whole plan, and I was like, Oh shit, that sounds way better than what I thought. Like, hey, you know what? Congratulations, you figured me all out. No, you what the fuck you didn't. You let her or whoever you were talking to feed you a whole plan, and you was like, Hey, you know what? That sounds so good. I'll pretend that that was my plan. That's frauduler right there.

SPEAKER_03

His mouth, his map be mapping in a way that I don't see how shit get put together because as a matter of fact, I literally overloaded the episode that did it for me was um when they was on vacation and they encountered the fucking spa dragon and then the barrel gang, and then I know we'll get into it later, but it was just how shit was like one thing was literally after another, and they all tied in to fix each other's problems. You know what I'm saying? It's kind of like he has a power without having a power, it's like look, or like King for one punch man, shit just happens in his favor. He don't do anything, it just happens in his favor.

SPEAKER_01

That's a good parallel right there. Because I forgot about that motherfucker where it just seemed like you would think he's as a top dog, like being ranked as high he's it. Hey, bro, like I was in the apparently I was in the right place at the right time and did the right thing to a point to where I don't I honestly don't deserve this rank, but I'm here.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, like a thousand tricks more like a thousand lives, he should be getting away from.

SPEAKER_02

But is it a lot of if he got such amazing look?

SPEAKER_03

That's what I'm hey, I'm not hey no, I don't fuck with crying. Look, if I didn't listen, I would do exactly what he's doing. He's just chilling, taking shit, keeping rings on. If I get hit, I'm alive, I'm gonna get the fuck on before I die for real. See what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

All right, MJ, what you got?

SPEAKER_00

I'm I'm hanging. I just can't. I just can't with him. Like I just want it so much more. There's so much there, and he's just so average. And it's just by average, I don't mean like he's not powerful. Not what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no. Oh crazy enough. I can I can picture you right now um giving that same face Toto did when he finally found uh his twin Eatodore, but it was different to where like he just bowling his eyes at it, like, damn dog, you are so fucking miss.

SPEAKER_00

Bro, oh I'm saying it's like I maybe I could be worn out. But you know, you guys like you guys make a good point. Like, he does kind of remind me of Eminence and Shadow in a way. Like, there's some parallels there. Um I can see that I ain't see it at first, but I can kind of see it now. And overlord, don't don't start there. Let's not.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, uh oh, you this was your plan to take over the world. Oh, yeah, that was my plan.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah. No, I literally might go and got peer pressure into world domination.

SPEAKER_02

Remember that one time when you sneezed on the first time. That one time you sneezed, my lord, and we thought that you meant that you was gonna take over the world. Oh yeah, yeah, you you you was right, Demiurge No, it's Demiurge, it's Alberto.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe you're like, hey, it's my day.

SPEAKER_00

You have to me.

SPEAKER_02

He's amazing. Alberto is amazing. Okay, you know I like him crazy.

SPEAKER_00

So back to Craig. Um, yeah, no, he just he gets on my nerves in a weird way right now. Let me say that right now, because we I gotta watch more, I gotta see more. And I also heard like maybe reading it is different, it gives you a different connotation. So I might read it.

Tropes, Bingo, And Running Jokes

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

You know what? Did you read it, Dobby? No, I didn't read it, but you know what? This got me thinking, we should have like podcast bingo to where uh all right, scratches wear off whenever a certain person does certain things, and I'm gonna go ahead and add whenever a character gets on Mira Jane's nerves.

SPEAKER_00

You're right.

SPEAKER_01

You right because appeared a lot of them to a point where okay, let me go ahead and put this on a bingo card real quick. Uh, same thing with Tut when it comes to baby mamas. Oh Lord, here's another baby mama. Let's put on the bingo card. No, that's a fact.

SPEAKER_00

That's a big two books. You're gonna need 60.

SPEAKER_01

That might as well be a free space, fuck it.

SPEAKER_00

You know what? That's the free space. That's perfect. Why I gotta need some free space?

SPEAKER_02

It's a giving every show. It's a giving in every show, huh? So I'm easy now. Oh brother.

SPEAKER_01

But hey, yo, hold on real quick. Let's get to another character real

Tino Shade And Fan Service Debate

SPEAKER_01

quick. Um, the I dare say she's the main fan service in this whole show. Uh Tino Shade.

SPEAKER_02

What old Tino is?

SPEAKER_01

16.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, never mind, never mind. I apologize for my other.

SPEAKER_01

That's the thing. That's the uh controversial part that I have about this. To where it's like, on the one hand, she's 16. So, and keep in mind, like I said many times before, in Japan, 16 means good to go. But over here in America, that's a no-go. But it doesn't help when I see all these goddamn butt shots of her. Like, literally, like you she could be having a conversation with Cry, right? And then next thing you know, like you see Cry's head like on the left hand side, right hand side, but you see her ass cheeks right there, and I'm like, What? They're forcing me to look, dog. Right. Double cheated up on a Tuesday.

SPEAKER_00

Every Tuesday, bro. Even I can't, every cheat.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, yo, you know that one scene that really told me that made me want to watch this show? That split that she did.

SPEAKER_00

I was just in my head.

SPEAKER_01

I was like, What in the yo, and when she kicked that one dude, the what she did is like so aerodynamic. See, that was the shit I was talking about, the animation to where the way they did, they made it look very impactful when she like twisted around and was like, kick that motherfucker. I'm like, god damn. Okay, y'all got a little sauce, y'all got a little sauce, but the action, how can I put this? It's like the action is almost an undercooked steak, and you have to put a like a generous amount of sauce on it to make it good. Like a little chewy. Like it's like you can tell it's like it's not completely done yet, but if you put some sauce on it, okay, it's all right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and she's not a baby mama candidate, if y'all was wondering.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I hope not.

SPEAKER_02

Not because of the edge or whatever, but it's another girl that had caught my eye. And I'll talk about it when we get there.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, I got you. Um, hold on, real quick. So Tino's profession is a thief. She's Liz's apprentice, but is beyond terrified of her, with great reason. Uh, she prays three times a day in front of the clan house and calling Cry Andre uh as Master is God. So she's like best girl candidate, I want to say. But there's another girl where I'm like, she's obviously best girl. Like, they're making it so obvious she's the best girl. But she's like a best girl candidate, and she's surprisingly strong and nimble, like her mentor. That's pretty much all I gotta say. But uh let's go in clock counterclockwise this time. Uh Playboy, how you feeling about Tina? Yeah, it feels I was I was thinking she was gonna be like the main side.

SPEAKER_03

Main girl, you know, the motherfucker came big dog now. But the the scene that's what I was like, the fans were definitely this part. That's when I knew they wasn't bullshitting when they forced the shot on us. Over the table, and I was like, Yeah, you had to draw this panel. Because when I watched the anime, you could just I I like every mother's book, so certain stuff. I see I go, okay, that was the manga pen. And that's what I was thinking. I was like, okay, this would let me know what the shit was fan service, and there was more to come. You know what I'm saying? Like in the first couple episodes, it was her ass. Like literally, her ass. I was like, okay. But other than that, she she's strong as shit. You feel me? Like, I fuck with the fighting style. Um, it's just the the the the fighting in the show lacklustre. That's all. I it's like one of those shows that doesn't really revolve around the power scale. It's kind of like um one of those other dungeon rating type shows. I'm just really starting to get into them now that I'm, you know what I'm saying? After solo 11, I'm starting to see a lot more of them now that I'm watching them.

SPEAKER_01

But they kind of open the floodgate for them, didn't they?

SPEAKER_03

Oh right. At least not that I'm paying attention, like a lot of the at least that's what I'm saying, you know what I'm saying? So a lot of these shows with these dungeons and dragon type violence, like not too much of a power scale, but with this solo leveling, they have fan service. So it's it's it's it's raising the question of me can a show have fan service and action at the same time, or at least to those extents.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, the clothes they had were they did have some big td women, but it ain't like they were doing anything perverted or anything. Well, I want to say except for like uh the blonde chick, uh Chai, uh, where it's like not really fan service per se, but it's almost like she had that one scene where she was just lying in bed with just um tank top on. And unlike the manga panel where her bust was like modest, they made hers in the anime, it like kind of uh inflated it a little bit, you know, like kind of almost like it was like kind of drooping to the side a little bit. I was like, well, damn, that's it kind of enhanced her a little bit for the anime. But uh speaking of which, um, before I forget, it also doesn't help with you have the ending theme, and it's literally Tino walking away, and you see those ass cheeks and thighs. Yeah, so I'm like I'm like, bro, like, come on, man. Like it kind of tries to come with you from Fire Force, like the young one. Yeah, like oh, I can't wait to talk about Fire Force too, because I know it just concluded by waiting for October because I want to do Fire Force and Soul Eater around the same time in October. So expect that. But yeah, yeah, yeah. Like Tomaki, I'm sitting there like, bro, is this fan service eating bro? I think the creator came out and said, yes, it was absolutely necessary. Thank you for asking. And then I'm like, I don't think it don't feel necessary, but you know what?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's that's what I was saying. It even went to fucking damn it went to everybody. They even went to damn speaker as on.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah. Uh, I'm gonna talk about her too, but uh before we get into that, uh Mira Jane, how are you feeling about Tina? Because I know I'm I'm trying to get this out of the way as fast as possible.

SPEAKER_00

No, um he's cute. She was cute, and I was like, this is different. But I didn't appreciate they really did that split with something, man. That split stuck in my head. I was like, wow, and I think it's okay, so like I've been trying to like work out more, be healthy, all that stuff, right? And I did just work because of that, being more conscious. That split was something. To be able to do that, that that's amazing. You got it, you working. Um, and she's super she's super cute. Like, she's one of my favorite characters, actually. I think that's the best thing to say about her. She's not overly aggressive, she is just kind of right in a sweet spot, and so I like it. Whatever.

SPEAKER_01

I really like how she played really sweet on cry, but then when it's literally everyone else, it's like she's shooting daggers at them with her eyes. It's literally like uh that one meme with Gordon Ramsay where it's like, you know, uh, oh precious, uh oh my god, precious, and then it's like you fucking donkey.

SPEAKER_00

Facts, big facts. I love that about her too. And it's so cute though. And she's chosen her man. She said, This is my man, this is it. Okay, y'all stay the fuck away from me. Everybody, everybody. The only person that matters me is crap.

SPEAKER_01

It's funny how she got a little crush on Cry, but like I'm wondering uh if this other chick that I'm about to talk about in just a moment, uh if she's like the OTP. But uh, before we get to those characters, we're gonna talk about the sisters in just a moment. Uh Tuck, how you feeling about Tino? And please make it quick.

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_01

No comment? Okay, okay, fair enough.

SPEAKER_02

I'm playing the fruit.

SPEAKER_01

All right, let's get into the sisters now. Liz

Liz Smart Steals The Spotlight

SPEAKER_01

Mart, the second moniker, stifle shadow. She's age 20, so she's fair game. Like most of other characters are like 19 or 20, and Tino's the only 16-year-old. But crazy how the 16-year-old is getting the more fan service. But, anyways, Liz is a level six treasure hunter, one of Cry's childhood friends, member of Grievous Soul. Uh, she's also a thief type uh profession. He is friendly and compassionate to her friends and appears to be in love with Cry, much to his constant annoyance, as he does not reciprocate whatsoever. Uh, she's actually a beast in combat and looks down on the others who doesn't exert their best in their treasure hunting. She loves to train Tino both emotionally and psychologically, leaving the girl permanently traumatized. Uh, she's also infamously known as a troll maker in her group, along with Luke. Uh I kind of do like Liz. Like, she's like one of those dangerous bitches where it's like, oh Lord, but uh Tuck, you got anything to add on to Liz?

SPEAKER_02

Uh, she's alright. She reminds me of um what's her name from Black Clover? Um Miravelle Leona. What's her name?

SPEAKER_01

I would say Leona.

SPEAKER_02

Just easy to call it. She reminds me of her a little bit, but she's not as cute for the baby mama candidate. So, but you know, I like I like I do like tough and uh strong girls, but like she she didn't do it for me. But aside from that, like she's a freaking beast. Like, she's strong as hell. She's like an ox. She's like, she's strong like the um the strong sister from Encanto, like that. Oh, uh Louisa. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um the strong one. That's her. Oh, hell yeah. Yeah, I like how she picks on Tino all the time. She's like, oh, Tino, you can't handle these weak monsters, knowing it's the strongest monster in the world, like I don't think you've been trying hard enough.

SPEAKER_01

I think you need to give it 100% emperor.

SPEAKER_02

Crazy.

SPEAKER_01

I'm tired of this, Liz. That's too damn bad. You get out there and fight.

SPEAKER_02

That's a fact.

SPEAKER_01

Well, yeah, that's all I have, I'm all right. MJ, how you feeling about Liz?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I love her.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I actually really she's a beast. I agree. She's a freaking beast. There's nothing she can really do. And I agree. I love the way she picks something up. That shit is absolutely hilarious. They're like the best disciple, like protege relationship I've seen in a long time. And it's absolutely hilarious. So, and plus, how can you not like her? Her nickname is Genocide Monster.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that is a thing. Well, um, she's a genocide monster, but she's also well hold on my back. Uh she's also known as Scifo Shadow. So, yeah, yeah, yeah. She got they got some tough ass names, like someone.

SPEAKER_00

Bro, oh, tell me. Like, and I love how she loves on Craig. Mm-hmm. Jumps on him anytime she cares. Every single time.

SPEAKER_02

The nicknames is tough. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But that's all I got.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, Playboy, got anything to add on to Liz?

SPEAKER_03

I like her. She was not my favorite one on that motherfucker, to be honest with you. The whole switch up. Yeah, because the switch up, like, I ain't gonna tell like I was I was fucking with like the demeanor, like the whole, like, because see, this is what they did, right? Her and Krista being sisters, I see what they did. You couldn't introduce them both at the same time. When Liz was giving off the soft girl vibes. You see what I'm saying? Then she switched up and became aggressive and wild and whooping ass. And then that's when Krista came in. That's Krista's whole thing. That she's the little, she's the younger choir sister. You know what I'm saying? As soon as they say it's smart, I'm like, she gotta be her sister. King Karen's smart. So I paid attention to what they came up since was whatever, but um oh no, I kind of started thinking she was shady when she was working with um, she was over there talking to what's his name? Necros, I can't remember now. She was over there talking to him and shit, but um Liz. I like Liz. She kind of reminded me of Miracle when she just kicked people and she probably just used her legs and then like when it was locked up or it captured as hostages and she just broke loose. Something told me she could have done that. Like I knew she could break free. Like, to be honest, in the show, she ain't took an L the whole time. She was the one who literally wraps shit up. Like, if there was no way out, she the one who wrapped this shit up. Like the first dungeon. It wasn't Cry, it wasn't Kino, it was the level five hunters that was in there. She just whooped them them down snow wolf, the white wolf ass. He just straight up beat their ass. Anybody else just one tap some? It's like this bitch got an inner demon on her or some shit.

SPEAKER_01

But got that dog in her.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, like literally got that dog in her. Like, but aside from that, she can't be sweet if if if you're a cry, you feel me? Yeah, if she likes you, then you're alright.

SPEAKER_02

Damn, you know what? Got that on her, really, nine pill.

SPEAKER_01

Now that I think about it, that's instantly reminded me of Delta from Eminence and Shell, to where it's like, yeah, she be sweet on people, but she be fucking dangerous.

SPEAKER_02

You took it, nah, that's a baby mama.

SPEAKER_03

You know what I mean? That's what I was saying. Like, I put her you feel me? Because even more than a lot of people. Delta fucking. She wasn't like she wasn't an asshole. She was nice, you know what I'm saying? I don't know what turned her out, but that's just how she is. You know what I'm saying? That's just how she could get. I guess she just likes to fight deep down. She just likes to fight a sweet one, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, if prior to take her down, boy, he's gonna have him a crowd.

SPEAKER_03

Nothing. I think that's what it is. He he could have whatever the fuck he wants, he don't know what to hell yeah.

Citri Smart And Best Girl Theory

SPEAKER_01

Alright, let's go again to the younger sister, Citri. Uh she her moniker is deep black.

SPEAKER_02

And I'm like, God damn, like, we tough ass names. That's my baby mama right there.

SPEAKER_01

Now, okay, yeah, like she's fair game because she's 19. And her profession is alchemist. She's a level two treasure hunter. She's not really out on the field like that, so that's fair. Uh, famously considered to be the strong weakling and the strongest command tower of the grieving souls, second to cry. And like Liz and Tino, she appears to be in love with Cry and she prepares a lot of secret hideouts to elope to with him, constantly annoying him of beyond bleed. Now, see, I think this is the OTP right here, because when she was introduced, it's almost like she became the main girl because it was always something about her. It's like if she wasn't like directly involved, she was like indirectly involved in a way. So I'm like, I there's like hell, she was even right there with him in the fucking uh poster, the cover art, you know, when you see uh, you know, when you first click on um love show and you see her face right there, and I'm like thinking, oh, that's the main bitch right there. That that's the main bitch right there. But then the way she operates in the cut, I'm like, oh that's you, there's something different about you. You built it. I know you built different. But I'm like, and I'm sitting there like, yes, you also um got a crush on Cry, just like most of the girls, anyways. But I feel like Citri's the only one where it's like because of her genius, the way she can craft and shit, not just alchemy, but like crafty mentally. I just feel like she's the close, even though I know Cry's not interested in any of them, I just feel like she's the crow closest to uh kind of crack them, you know what I'm saying? But uh, how you feeling about Citry since you kind of gave me the L Uber there?
