Astarotte's Toy: When Fantasy Crosses A Line
A fantasy world can be daring without crossing a line. We take a hard look at Lotte No Omocha, the succubus-princess anime that mixes slice of life, romance, and harem tropes with a premise that feels wrong at its core. From the first minutes, we map the lore of essence, the court politics surrounding a reluctant heir, and the monster realm’s myths about humans. Then we confront the central problem: a web of relationships and ages that turns would-be comedy and tenderness into discomfort.
Across the episode, we unpack the character roster—Lottie, Naoya, Ashua, the queen, and the castle staff—and trace how their connections build a family tree that’s more shocking than clever. The episode guide hits the big beats: a school arc that tries to humanize the cast, a parent-teacher summit that reveals hidden ties, a detour to the human world that drains magic, and a world tree crisis that threatens to erase memories. Beach day, festival night, rival prince—every familiar anime set piece arrives on schedule, yet each one bumps against unresolved issues of consent, agency, and power.
Still, there’s real craft in the setting. The succubus society offers a lens on tradition and expectation; the queen’s choices hint at a richer political drama; the world tree provides a strong metaphor for imbalance between realms. We call out those strengths while drawing a clear line: the romance framing doesn’t earn its stakes and the ethical missteps eclipse the good ideas. Our final verdict is firm—a 2 out of 10—and our reasons are specific, from character writing to tone management.

Alright, let's get into it. I want to talk about Lati no Omacha, known as Lati's toy. And before you guys say anything, I know, I know. This anime is completely weird. This is off-counter to what I normally do. However, I wanted to talk about it, and I have no one else to talk about it with. For those who don't know, my name is Seppi Phantom, and I'm here with you guys with another solo review. So, like I said, I want to talk about Lodi Latte no Omaca or Lottie's toy. Now, this is a mix between a slice of life, romance, erotic, the whole nonsense. It is something different. And again, I'm only talking about this because I need someone else to talk about this and talk about how bad this is. So, first off, I want to talk about is 10-year-old succubus princess Azeroth, or Lottie. Um, she's the heir to the kingdom of Jagervland, and Succubus Society age 10 marks a critical turning point in which a young succubus is expected to begin forming a male harem. Unlike vampires who rely on blood, succubi sustained their body and preserved their beautiful appearance by absorbing male essence. Okay, so the princess, despite like want getting a herring, she hates men. Like she despises them, right? And so she decrees that her hair must include a human male, an almost impossible condition given to the wide brief widespread belief that humans have been extinct. Contrary to these legends, her royal followers managed to locate Noya Tuhara, who is brought into the monster realm together with his daughter, Ashua. This unexpected encounter sits off a chain of events that challenges both social norms, which is very true, social norms, and the nature of identity in multicultural magical settings. So let's get in with characters, right? So, like I said, we have Lottie, she's a young succubus who's trying to like gain full maturity. Um, we have Tahara, which is is one of gonna be one of Lottie's sir, like one of Lottie's herem. He's the first member, right? Um, and we'll get into that detail later. We have Ashua, which is 10 years old, just like Lottie. She is the child of Naoa. I'll get into that in a little bit later. Um, and then of course we have some friends that are um part of Lottie's castle. So like Judith, who's her head of staff and lady in waiting. Um, then we have Olav, which is the aging butler, Griselda, shortened to Zelda, she is like the current head of like the security. Um, Alfred or Elfie, she's part of Lottie's female only staff. She's a cowgirl and she's amazing. I love her. That's my only favorite character in this entire thing. And then you have Kufretta, which is a maid, and then get a couple of other characters, and then of course you have um the mom, who is the queen of the succubus. So let's get into this weird ass relationship because holy Jesus, I want to talk about it. Okay, so we meet, like I said, we meet Lottie and we meet Noya, and family tree time, do-do-do. Okay, so like I said, he is the hero of the series, and yeah, he wasn't the first person, like okay, he was a part of another harem, and that included his mom, right? Not his mom, her mom. Um, so before he met Lottie, he encountered Lottie's mother roughly 11 years ago when she was 12, and then a few years later, she brought him Ashua, his daughter, from that um encounter. So, yes, he had a sexual relationship with Lottie's mother. Um, so 10 years ago, he and the queen met in human world and the park of his hometown. They connected, she claimed to be everyone away, as well as the princess of her country. Nayoya believed every bit of it. He slept with that, slept with the queen later to have Ashua. Okay, so he had Oshawa now. So Ashua is also 10 years old, just like Lottie, and she is the daughter of Noya and Queen um Mercilettia, the dead princess Ashua Harit, as the Princess Aserat's older half-sister. She doesn't know her mom as the queen or Lottie. She also has like this weird thing to not go like wear underwear at all, and she'd rather go commando. Okay, well, anyway, let's go on to Lottie. And Lottie is our main character, right? So, like I said, she's a succubus in the harem of the anime, and she has no idea that her best friend, Ashua, is actually her older sister, Ashua Harrit, and her father, um, so the like I said half-sister, and in the end, so in the manga, Lottie and um what is the name? Tahara, Nayoya, Tahara, they actually get married. So let's do a fan, like I said, a family tree here. We have Lottie and Nahoya Tahara who get married. After that, um, Nahoya and Marceletia have a daughter together, which is um Ashua, making not only Marceletia, Nahoya's baby mama, but also mother-in-law. You get what I'm going here? Like, this is the father of your stepsister, and you okay, sorry. So, like I said, this is a really weird anime, and I'm gonna rank this like a two out of ten. The concept is not there, nothing is there. This is a horrible, horrible like anime. Okay, um, I'm gonna go into some episodes now, cuz alright. It's an anime where a little boy gets groomed, basically. Okay, um, I don't recommend this to anybody. This is a really weird series, like a really weird one. Um, so I'm like I said, I'm gonna go back to episodes. On episode one, she meets it's basically the whole thing, it's called the exclamation of our meeting. She's hiding, she's running away, and lo and behold, she goes to this tree, right? It's like this really weird clover-like tree. Um, and sorry, I'm trying to get my life together. So, uh Lottie seemed like she hates men, she doesn't want men, and in the creature world, humans are considered mythical creatures, like I said. Well, Judith manages to travel to a human realm and return with a 23-year-old human male named Noya Tara, who accepts the offer to found Aseroth's harem without knowing who she is, right? Okay, episode 2. Noya is then introduced to Asert, Lottie, but she refuses to get along with him. Noya Naoya, I'm saying his name wrong, I'm sorry, learns that when Aserot was young, she witnessed her mother, Mersilla Ledia, engage intimate at intimate acts with a member of her harem. For this, she developed a dislike for men and grew distant from her mother, wanting to be able to make her feel less alone. Noya Naoya makes a replica of Aserat's favorite toy, which is basically this doll thing. Yeah. The next day, Aserot agrees to accept Noyoya into her harem on the condition that he be her toy. Alright. Episode 3: The parentheses of passing. No Yoya brings his 10-year-old daughter Ashua to the creature world. Upon learning their ages, Aserat grows up upset since it meant that he had to have sex when he was 13. Though Ashua is quick to jump to Naoya's defense, want to apologize to her, uh Ashua and rolls into Aserot's school, where she makes new friends like Missed, Yuna, and Luca, who mentioned that they haven't had the courage to be friends with Aserot. As Ashua makes up with Aserot, rumors put about a human male on campus, which turns out to be a rampaging llama from a zoo. As it gets wild, Miss Yuna and Luka step in to defend Aseroths before Nayoya manages to calm it down. Afterwards, Asterots manage to make friends with the other girls who nickname her Lottie. Um, episode four, Ampersand of the Party. So if you're noticing this, like exclamation point, semicolon, parentheses, ampersand of the party. Like they're all punctuation points, right? Okay, so episode four, the school receives invitations for their parents to attend a parent teacher party. Aserath states her mother, Mercilettia, would be too busy to attend, but Ashua insists that she go and ask her in person to be sure. She and Zelda visit Mercilettia's palace, but after hearing the mothered complaints of palace life, Aserat's or Lottie returns home, leaving the invitation behind. At the party, Lottie teases her rival Elika about her alleged relationship with Naoya, but later becomes saddened when Mercilettia doesn't show to the party. Her mother, who had become late to the party, was returning to her own palace after missing her daughter, decides suddenly to see her anyway, flies to her palace. Well, entering a darkened room, she wakes the figure. She wakes the figure sleeping in the bed, only to find out it's Ashua. Ashua awakens and it revealed that Mercilettia is actually her mother.
unknown:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:Episode 5. The quotation of crossing. Nooya feels conflicted by the appearance of Mercilettia, who three years after their transplant left Ashua with him and disappeared, with Mercilettia immediately running off before listening to what Naoya has to say. Judith reveals to Naoya that Mercilettia is the queen, making Ashua and Lottie half-sisters, and asks him to keep it a secret from Lottie. Wanting to sneak in with Mercilettia, Naoya, and Ashua, they sneak into the palace, dressed as maids. They are discovered by one of the queen's servants, but is coincidentally chosen to be an escort based on Mercilettia's request. Upon meeting her, Naoya gives her thanks to Mercilettia for bringing Ashua into his life. As Naya talks to Mercilettia, it is revealed she had hid Ashua in the human world to avoid the same battle against sisters for the throne that she faced. Noticing Lottie is still downhearted, Naoya asked Mercilettia to visit the class, and then Lottie and Mercilettia managed to reconcile with each other at the parent-teacher conference. So it goes on from here. So episode 6, just sort thing. Um they tried to send Naoya back to the human world, they try to get back, try to get her back. Well my goodness. Um in order to see her, they have to solve a riddle, which Eshua manages to answer with her unfortunate underwear. There they meet Sage, Ingrid, and Sovereign Sorghums, who revealed the gate is linked to the succulent race. As Ingrid agrees to help them, she will soon learn that due to the lack of magic in the human world, Lottie does not have enough magic to activate the gate, so Lottie is stuck in the human world. Episode 7, Secret Apostrophe. Nayoya travels to the human world in order to replenish Asherot's magic so that she can return. However, Asherot is still mad at him and tries to lock him out of the house, though they ultimately fail. After making up with her, Naoya kisses Lottie on her forehead, allowing her to regain her magic and return to the demon world. As Nayoya takes Lottie to the amusement park as a way in apology, Alaka decides to take Ashua with her to the same park to test her alleged adulthood. Alaka suggests Lottie to go inside the haunted house. Well, she gets so upset when she gets into this haunted house that unfortunately Lottie wets herself and then Nayoya's like, don't worry about it. I haven't wedded- I didn't stop wetting the bed till I was 12. Anyway, they go home. Episode 8 is strong, a prince from the I'm gonna mess this up so much. A prince from the Svenson Um Sabro Gade bumps into Lottie in town and falls in love at first sight. He sneaks into the school and confesses a desire to marry Lottie in front of her friends and family. Lottie gets annoyed with Naoy for not saying anything. And later one night, Sigoro sneaks out um sneaks Lottie out of the castle, hoping to receive an answer to his question. But Naoya appears and manages to convince Lottie to come back with him after evading um Sigoro's attack. Okay. Then we have Backlash Backslash Fever on episode 9. So this is like a beach episode. You know how every single anime has this beach episode. This is it. Well, Lottie and the others go to the royal family's private beach for the day. Marcelletti is also there at another part of the beach and ends up meeting with Lottie and hearing how she becomes close with Ashua. Soon after parting ways, Nayoya collapses from a fever and seems to be uncomfortable in a certain level of uh certain area of his overbody. As Lottie and her friends work on some to get food, Judith pressures Nayoya to make more progress with the sexual nature of his relationship with the princess. Okay. Ten is called a Jesus Fist. A festival celebrating the world tree is taking place, so we have a festival episode. So if we don't have a beach episode, we get a festival, and if not, we get both. Well, Lottie's friends help her prepare for a singing performance. Lottie has trouble with performing in front of large crowds, so she undergoes extensive training to ease her fear. After a bath, the girls along with Nayoya head to the festival, while there they run into Sigaro, who challenges Naoya to a series of games to prove who is worthy of the princess. Meanwhile, Lottie is still nervous, so when the time comes for her performance, Ashua joins her on stage and the princess relaxed and is able to complete the performance with her help. After the festival, Ashua questions Nayoya about his plans once the summer break ends. And then episode 11. Alright, so for this episode, the full stop for the two of us, Lottie gets a red clover-shaped mark on her back. This means she's officially becoming an adult. Well, Judith tries to push Noyoya into fulfilling his job description as the harem, the main one, you know. Well, Judan finds out it's not the same mark, but instead related to the leaves of the world tree turning red. Noyoya and Ashua start feeling weird. Inai theorizes that the magical balance between the world is destabilizing. And the world tree is attempting to eliminate foreign objects from the demon world, namely Naoya and Ashua. Soon, Naoya and Ashua become unable to hear the others, and vice versa, and they also discover the entries in Ashua's diary are disappearing. Oh my gosh. Well, Lottie potentially at rest from the royal tree as well. They decide that Naoya and Ashua need to return back to the human world where they hold a farewell party, and Lottie exchanges gift with Ashua before asking Naoya on a date. Last episode. Okay. Um, and Asterks beyond the sky. So this was the last episode. This was a fully June um aired anime. So this was done between like the beginning of June to the end of June back in 11. Well, Lottie and Noyoya decide to have their date at the amusement park where she finally manages to convey her feelings to him. The two promises to meet again someday while Merced Merciledia makes sure to visit Ashua so they can spend the time together, you know. Um, after some time in the human world, Naoya and Ashuwo they return. Um Ani makes use of Naoya's cell phone and the royal tree, um, allowing them to like talk. And then they find out that Clover Shape Mark was just a bug bite anyway. Um, well, soon after Ani manages to stabilize the royal tree's magic to create a proper portal between the worlds, Naoya and Eshuba use it to return them the monster brown and rejoin Lottie, whose growth marks finally appear on her back. And that is the end. So this this anime, right? Like I said, I give it a 2 out of 10. Not because of the plot, it would be a really good plot if it wasn't for the ages, you know. If everyone was like aged up to like a proper good amount, I think this anime would be brockin. But when it came to body being 10, Ashura being 10, homeboy being like what 13 when he had Ashua, the point is is that I don't recommend this anime to anybody. I just needed to get it out there because this is a weird and creepy anime, and this was one of my first anime that I watched because people recommended it to me. Don't recommend it to people. If they find it on their own, good luck. If they don't find it on their own, oh well, no one is missing anything. But this is Sebi Phantom just coming on here with a solo review, like I said, for Oswat's toy, Oswat No Omacha. Have a good night.
