Prison School: Delicious Garbage with Cruel and Unusual Punishment

JetBlackXtreme, Kokugatsu Season 15 Episode 15

Ever wondered what happens when five boys gets ac epted into an all-girls school? Brace yourself for a wild and hilarious ride as we, J.B. and Kokugatsu, dissect the first season of the anime "Prison School." We lovingly label it "delicious garbage" for its outrageous, perverse storyline. From the strict confines of Hachimitsu Academy to the underground student council's brutal regime, we navigate the absurd trials and tribulations the boys face, dissecting the intense dynamics between characters. While we revel in the anime's chaos, we also caution you against diving into its manga since its convoluted continuation might leave you dissatisfied.

What's more shocking than a girl exposing a boy's deepest perversions? Join us as we analyze key scenes like the unforgettable moment when Hana reveals Kiyoshi's true nature and how it impacts her. We applaud Akira Hiramoto's masterful art style, which brings an almost surreal intensity to even the most absurd of facial expressions. Our discussion highlights fan-favorite characters like Gakuto and the chairman, whose antics and dramatic lines add another layer of depth. We also explore broader themes from the show, challenging our own perspectives on fetishes and the complexities of character development within such a bizarre setting.

Ever compared anime fetishes to real-life relationships? We share personal stories, humorous anecdotes, and even touch on the peculiarities of sadomasochism in and out of the anime world. We find ourselves captivated by Meiko's intense presence and Andre's strange dedication, drawing interesting parallels to other IPs like "Sengoku Basara" and "Dynasty Warriors." Wrapping up, we critique various anime, including the controversial "Redo of Healer" and the unique "The Eminence in Shadow," while reflecting on how our own lives echo the struggles of some anime characters. This episode promises a candid, entertaining, and comprehensive exploration of "Prison School" and beyond!

Speaker 1:

Welcome back to the Zone Podcast. It's Jet Blackestring and I'm being joined by Koki Gatsu with another episode. This time we're going to be talking about prison school. Let's just go ahead and zone in on this Now. I'm just going to go ahead and say it right off the bat Anime Season 1?

Speaker 1:

I loved it. Like it was delicious garbage, like it's one of those things where the perversion is so depraved, like it doesn't get super crazy. Because, let me say this, because people say that, oh, it gets kind of crazy, like are you sure you're not overselling it or underselling it? But it's almost like it really depends. Because when it comes to anime and manga, there's like a whole iceberg to where there's the stuff that we pretty much know. There's the more obscure shit and then, as we go deeper, deeper down, the there's the weird shit and I'm like not typical anime, weird shit. I'm talking you're not coming back from this weird, and that's why I'm saying that, for Prison School was like it's kind of it's kind of like upper iceberg, but getting a little bit down there, like it's hard to gauge it really, but it's not as bad as I'm trying to make it sound, but it gets way more perverted than most of the shit that you've probably seen. Now let me explain with the plot now.

Speaker 1:

Hakimisu academy, one of these girls only academies in tokyo. Uh, very strict regimen and um rules and whatnot. They decided to admit boys into the system. We have five boys Kiyoshi, kakuto, shingo, joe and Andre the only male students among 1,000 girls. And these rules are so draconian that what makes it even worse is that whenever you get punished, even for like minor shit, there's like this box in the middle of the school that it's a fucking prison and essentially the underground student council led by Mari she hates men so much that the fact that these five dudes were rolling around in this school she was like uh, uh, this is unacceptable. We gotta do something about this. You know what? Let's frame for some shit like let's frame for like voyeurism, to where the bathing area, where the girls like to shower off, and essentially them getting framed, led to their capture and arrest by the underground student council and they just end up in this prison for like a month or be expelled and essentially they do part time together and it comes to find out that, um, here's the thing, kiyoshi and this girl that he likes, chiyo. They are like the kind of let's stay Pure kind of folks, and especially Chiyo. But Kiyoshi Is gonna find out the hard way how masochistic and perverted the other boys are, as like Bro, and perverted the other boys are as like bro. It gets to a point where these girls, uh, between mari, meiko and hana, they just verbally and physically abuse these boys and these boys just love it, except kiyoshi. He's the only one with like some sense going on, except sometimes when he does something suspicious, and I'm gonna talk about that a little bit.

Speaker 1:

Uh, but essentially for the anime, 12 episodes of war in the entire fuck that I just watched, and I'm gonna be honest with you, if you only watch the anime, good for you, I do not recommend the manga. I will tell you why. Because with the manga, based off the ending of the anime, you see the new underground student council president Kate showing up and simply taking over the role of President Oro Amari, who, all three of those girls will find out that oh, y'all frame those boys, so y'all gonna have to take their place and they get their freedom. Uh, the manga picks up after that to where, essentially, it was the girl's turn to go through this cruel and unusual punishment and there was like this whole calvary shoulder battle that was going on like a school sports festival. That dragged way too long and then pretty much and here's the funny thing the way it ended was as bad as the way it can continue with the monk, to a point to where you remember the chairman. Everybody loved the chairman in the prison.

Speaker 1:

School fucks off, he's lost in the woods, he just pretty much gets written out of the plot. You know how, with Mari, essentially it was like Mari versus Kate. And once that arc, I guess, concluded, steve fucks off for this student exchange program, pretty much leaving without any notice to everybody else. So Meiko and Kate was running after her trying to stop her, but it was too late, she was already gone. Meiko and Kate pretty much fucks up, unconcluded, no, no idea what happened. And then it all boiled down to the love triangle between Kiyoshi, hana and Chiyo, to where kiyoshi was going to confess to chiyo. Chiyo was all for it, hana was like oh dang, uh, I guess I lost the boy that I um developed this relationship with. I guess I'll go fuck off. Nah, psych, you think I'm gonna let him go that easily? Fuck all that. Let me tell you all this Shit that we've been Through together with him Because of him, and you've seen the anime, so you should know a little bit about what They've been going through.

Speaker 2:

But the thing was it was all her own fault, hold on.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, true, but hold on Despite all that. Gio was like I don't care, I still want to be with him. And Hana was like, oh, you still want to be I'm paraphrasing honestly but oh, you still want to be with him. All right, all right, but let's see if you still want to be with an irredeemable pervert who's wearing my panties. She pulls down his pants and shows that he was wearing her panties from early in the story and then I guess he got so nervous and embarrassed that he started pissing all over him. So it's flashed onto you hard.

Speaker 1:

Cut to next thing. You know, she will become the new underground student council president, with a look on her face that says, oh yeah, she's disillusioned, she lost all innocence. Some say in the internet, depending on what site you go to. Some say that she pretty much adopted the same personality shift as Mari, to a point to where she pretty much became a mis. That she trusted to be pure, to be better than all these other perverted men, turned out to be the most perverted of all. Once again, han's fault, but fuck all that. Like she's too traumatized for that. So I was like you know what I'm done and funny thing is. You don't even know what happened to kiyoshi and hana. He's like that, just left up to imagination, I fucking guess. So I guess you can say the best part about prison school has already been animated. So if you want to read the manga, go ahead if you're curious.

Speaker 1:

I wouldn't recommend it because it got to a point where people really turned on the um manga guy, um akira hiramoto, like, and he was also very good when it comes to the art style, like that's the main draw for prison school for me, to where the art, oh my god, the way, the intensity, the shading, the shadows and whatnot. It also with um other manga like me and my devil blues, uh, to where it just seemed like the way he draws the character, uh, facial expressions and whatnot, even for perverted um piss and shit jokes. It's like I love that from an artistic point of view. I fucking love this anime and honestly, aside from out of the five boys, I would say gakuto is my favorite because of the way he uh the facial spreads. He has sometimes some of the sus moments that be going on, but uh, I would say he's my favorite out of the five boys. Hana's my favorite out of the three main girls.

Speaker 1:

And my number one favorite is the chairman himself, because his line delivery is fucking infectious. It's like the way. It's so dramatic. It's like almost every ending is like he ends. The last word was on a dramatic way. It's so dramatic, it's like almost every Ending is like he ends. The last word was on a dramatic Tone. It's almost like you know, you're just expecting Kanye just pop up Whenever he says some shit. I'm like man. And of course, he said the one line that Runs through. I dare Say, every straight Man's mind at some point In time said the one line that runs through, I dare say every straight man's mind at some point in time Ass or titties. With that being said, kokugatsu, what's your thoughts on prison school?

Speaker 2:

Still there, yeah, still there. Yeah, my, um, my phone was being extra right now. I'm mostly on the fact that how in the world you're just gonna end it on that little note like that for me? But anyway, uh, no. So I have not read the manga. I have no clue whatsoever onto it. Um, to be honest, I would just take your word for it onto it. I wasn't really planning on reading the manga regardless. It was one thing enough. Just watching the anime, because you know it's one of those ones is this if you truly enjoy the anime, it says a lot about yourself. Let's be honest, everybody's got their own fetishes, it's okay. It is okay. Everybody's got it in the freaking them. Everybody does, it's cool. And this is just a cool way of just like you know, kind of handling it out. So, first off, ladies and gentlemen, family and friends of all ages, my nerd family y'all, I highly recommend watching uh wait hold on my connection.

Speaker 1:

I don't know. There's like a connection problem going on. I'm sorry.

Speaker 2:

No, you're good, I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but but first and foremost, I encourage watching the show. It's going to give you an opportunity To kind of just awaken who you are as a person. You know, and, like you said, that's an awesome question. The question is important. It really determines about you, you know. I mean, we've watched jujutsu kaisen, we know we, we know what old boy is his preferences a tall woman with a big ass, that's just where he's at. And so then we got. You know, look to me, what got me. It wasn't just a question, it was the fact that he asked this question to the dude. He asked us hold on which dude was? I'm trying to remember it was kyoshi, that's what. So he has a question of kyoshi and kyoshi had to sit there and think long and hard about it because he was like, depending on, the answer to this question is going to determine what's going to happen to us.

Speaker 2:

Because, first and foremost, understand that the chairman knew that they were set up. He knew this. The problem is that there was nothing he could do about it because, even though he's a chairman, it's a fully run school by all the girls, by the high council. This isn't unheard of in a lot of anime. It apparently is not unheard of as far as into real life too. Like there are some schools where the people who actually run it is the high council. As far as like the senior class and stuff like that, because they're actually in the class. It's one of those ones of like kind of an anti-democracy thing. You know, we hire these people in our country to help run our country, but they they not live in the common person life. They don't know what it's like to be here and be dealing with all the normal stuff here. They just sign the bills and just move on with it because they don't have to worry about the consequences of it, because it's them Versus the high council, these school electives and stuff. They are in the school. Currently they have to deal with maintaining high grades. They have to deal with the people on the everyday basis. They walk through the school and they're not exempt to too much. They have to prove themselves and continue to prove themselves day in and day out. It's important to understand that. Cool, so I understand having a high council into that.

Speaker 2:

He could not do nothing. He was like he literally told me. He said I can't do nothing for you. He says I could just put in a good word or something like that. But, bro, otherwise you're on your own man, there's really nothing I could do for you. You're kind of lost, bro. You're asking the wrong person. So he knew this from the jump but still was like I'm going to do whatever it is I can, he said. But I want you to understand, if I step forward and try to do something, I am putting my job on the line, which he did, which I think that would make sense of.

Speaker 2:

Why it is that he probably just disappeared in the moniker that the continuation. So I think I had to sum up. I don't know if they don't explain it, they don't explain it, but it's one of those things of like his job was on the line regardless. So what was he to do? What was his choices, what was his options? What could he have done, you know? And so it's like, eh, he did the best he could. I'm not gonna fault him. So my thing about it is this it was when Kiyoshi explained his reasoning. That's what kind of got me, yeah, you know way back in the before war times.

Speaker 1:

You know how the butters of the Monkey and all that shit. I'm like bro.

Speaker 2:

He's like. That's the First thing we stared at. Was that the primal energy. And I'm just like Bro. I went back to that Dude went back caveman times and said Primal energy is important. Understand, that was the first and foremost thing that we ever looked at, and only when we became bipedal and stood up, there had to be something new to be attracted to. So then we became attracted to them. But the reason that we're so attracted to the titties is because they had to mimic the shape of a large, voluptuous ass, and it was like good lord, almighty, this is really what's happening right now and I'm gonna be honest with you, even if you never watched Prison School, that one conversation sums up the whole thing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because let's be honest, like, let's be real, like, depending on the set of titties that you got, like yes, it's going to be this conversation, we're going there, because that's pretty much why that's the plot, the story. Yeah, so my thing is, depending on the set of titties that you got, sometimes they be like big and I like it when it's like they are big enough to where they have that little crevice, to where it just kind of look like an ass crack. Yeah, that's why it's like. You know, sometimes I like tits in a way to where it just seems like I'm more of an ass man, If you ask me that question. I'm more of an ass man because I'm like, I think titties are good for, if you like, something to play with. But at the end of the day, I'm going to be staring at that ass every chance I get, especially if I like the shape and shit.

Speaker 2:

This is true. Look, I'm going to be honest, back in the old times when I was a virgin.

Speaker 1:

You don't have to be super fat, but if I like the shape, if I like what you're working with, I'll work with you.

Speaker 2:

Begging on times when I was a virgin. I was like it doesn't make a difference, you can have either or.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you were one of those flat justice people.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I learned my lesson. I learned my lesson, you know. I now know.

Speaker 1:

It kind of cut out on me. What was that?

Speaker 2:

Man see this app getting on my nerves sometimes. I mean, look for reals, though. But no, I was saying that back when I was a virgin. I said it didn't make a difference, it could have been either, or, but then, once I became an adult, once I became a man, I learned my lesson onto that one, bro it does actually make a difference. It really does make a difference. It's one of those ones, honestly, look, we're not a PG podcast anyway, but I'm not going to go into that much detail.

Speaker 1:

Just understanding.

Speaker 1:

Let me just put it to you like this it goes beyond that. I feel like at this point I I honestly believe that you can't really manipulate attraction like you. Here's the thing either you're into it or you're not. It's like it's just a Natural draw to where I'm like. I'm more Drawn to nice asses Than nice cities. Like nice cities is good to look at, but I might flip.

Speaker 1:

You know, like I was telling Mira Jane during the Whole twilight, yeah, I was kind of Flirting with her, I admit it, but I was just doing a bit To where I was like essentially, I would just imagine I'll be one of those dudes to where maybe, uh, my old lady will be in the kitchen doing whatever, like maybe she's cooking, maybe she's washing dishes, and then I'll just be like creeping up on her, uh, giving her a hug from behind, maybe playing with the titty, and then be like I know what you want and I'm like let'll say it out loud, but that's beside the point. Point being, yeah, I'll be playing with them, but you know what I really like.

Speaker 2:

I have no words for you, sir. I have no words for you, sir, nah, but I understand. I mean, the funniest thing about it is a real reversal for me. Here I am right now actually washing dishes at the moment while we're doing this and, uh, my wife will just come in and do this why do you even have to mention that? Cause we're the half husband. What you mean, right?

Speaker 1:

no, it's like you fucked up my whole mental energy. Like you know what I'm ready for you, mark, hold on anyway.

Speaker 2:

Um, but here's to be honest onto this, like every one of my favorite scenes, okay. So obviously, when it comes down to it, there's two girls, there's two main girls you really want to pay attention to throughout the whole anime, and obviously it's going to be, uh, shiraki and hana you know what?

Speaker 1:

that's a funny thing, mari. She was the only one where I'm like ah, you know, she was there, she built, she built a role. That's about it. It was really meiko and Hana. For me, yes, bro, especially Meiko, to where, by the way, I can make figurines of her.

Speaker 2:

I bet you can, man. They probably will sell well too. Go ahead, go ahead and make a couple. We're going to advertise it. Put it on the page. Yeah, but no, for real. Anytime Meiko showed up, it was like they was ready. She showed up, she cracked her little whip thing and they was just lined up ready. It was like it doesn't make a difference A little forward straddle thing, matter of fact, andre was the worst with it.

Speaker 2:

Andre was the worst with it, him and Ghetto. Both of them. They would purposely do stuff because they wanted her to step on them. So bad, just so they could get glances of whatever the case may be. And they were just like, yeah, I'm gonna take whatever punishment. I was laying wait they would put themselves in their debt.

Speaker 1:

Ladies and gentlemen, that, um, there's a phrase for this. Ladies and gentlemen, that, um, it's called down bad oh, I thought it was called sadomasochism no, no, no see, that's a funny thing. That is sadomasochism right there, but sad enough there's a lot of dudes in real life like that, to a point to where it's not that extreme, but it's kind of there look.

Speaker 2:

You want to know how the bad part about it is. I'm gonna tell you y'all. This sadomasochism is so common amongst most married men and this is a crazy thing because they play on it in movies all the time. But you don't. Most people don't realize how actual serious this really is. And that's what makes it kind of funny is the fact that there are dudes that will not even necessarily cheat.

Speaker 2:

It depends on your definition of cheating. Some people think about it in different ways. I kind of think about. I think of it as in the form of self cheating-achieving, but it depends on yourself, on how you feel into it. There are dudes that will literally pay other women to whip them, to bind them up and just talk all types of nasty stuff with them, and they won't do a thing, their mouths won't touch them, nothing like that. They just sit there and get whipped for an hour straight and then pay them and then that's it, and then they. Then they just go back home to their wives and like that is a real thing, this really happens you know what?

Speaker 1:

no, you know what. This reminds me of how we talked about on a nerdy news special. I believe, believe, to where I just like you know what, how cheating in Japan just got so crazy to a point to where, if you're going to cheat on me, at least pay me that part. If you're going to buy a hooker, at least make sure I get paid. Like hey, you want to rent my husband out? Like, go ahead. I was like, essentially it was more like well, it worked both ways, to where it was like pretty much they were pimping each other out, to where I'm like you're going to cheat on me, at least charge the dude for the or the chick for the sex, whatever the case may be, and then bring some of that money back to me.

Speaker 2:

I ain't saying she a gold digger Vomity. I'm just saying yeah, no, for real, though, it's just one of those ones like that. Whenever Mako popped up, I was just like you already know what's going on. It happened every time. She would get so aggravated because she was like I was just like you already know what's going on, and it happened every time. She would get so aggravated because she was like I'm not trying to excite you and they're like they literally just telling her, just want you to understand. Anytime you walk through that door, we are instantly excited. Already your shirt can't even close all the way. That says enough.

Speaker 1:

Cut this out. What if I told you they ruined?

Speaker 2:

Oh, no see, I don't know Hell. No man, what the fuck man? I'm definitely not going to read the model. I don't know you want to know how.

Speaker 1:

You want to know how, what they do. You know how she's like all strong and dominant and shit I'm mad at the opposite, no yeah.

Speaker 2:

Why.

Speaker 1:

She's like no, don't look at me, stop picking on me and my big titties and all that yeah.

Speaker 2:

She wore them with pride.

Speaker 1:

Nah, nah, she's like, let's make her like. I can't help that I'm Filled this way yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh, y'all destroyed her. No, that sucks, man.

Speaker 1:

That's why I told you If you're that curious, go ahead and read it if you want to. I wouldn't recommend it though.

Speaker 2:

I'm so sad right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Damn Andre, andre, the first thing you's got is this. The funniest thing to me, it would be the enlightened looking motherfucker in his Buddhist self. It literally looks like he's supposed to be Buddha on some real shit. It would be him that becomes the most enlightened throughout everything. Because, no matter what he's like, you understand this is how this is how it goes. You accept the situations that come to you, you accept all those problems and stuff and reap the benefits of the reward later. And he was like this is a way. So you're purposely getting stepped on and purposely having her punish you. Yes, because every single time she does, I get to see up the skirt. Every single time she does, I get to see them jiggle, jiggle, jiggle just a little bit more. And I'm like the bad part about it is we all have that one thing.

Speaker 1:

I'm not saying it right, but I kind of understand, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, He'd be like I see where your point is at. You know what? I respect the hustle, but I am still ashamed of you, bro. Like just just bro anyway. And then, like I understand as far as you said about your favorite, character don't justify the means.

Speaker 2:

In that case, look, I don't know to him it does, but I understand what you mean with Takehito. Like Takehito is the one that always was like I got a plan, I got the master plan, we're going to figure out how to do this, we're going to do this and stuff, and his plans was always absolute crap and I was just like bro.

Speaker 1:

Honestly, what I also like about Takahito was that the way he was like all for the three kingdoms he just reminded me.

Speaker 2:

You know what we need to do a Sengoku Bazaar review. You, you, you talk.

Speaker 1:

We talked about this a while back before and it was the reason we haven't oh no, I'm thinking japanese, my bad, we should do a Sengoku Bazaar review, but I was also thinking Dynasty Warriors. That's, that's what it really was, dynasty Warriors.

Speaker 2:

Wars. Yeah yeah, I mean pretty much, let's be honest, it's damn near the same thing, but there is notable differences. There's notable differences, but let's be honest bro.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if you would say that Sengoku period and the Han Dynasty were Look, look I the Han Dynasty world.

Speaker 2:

Look, I get what you mean I'm talking about as far as the ideal understanding of the story. In the end, you have one main hero who has another main hero as a rival, that's rivals with each other. They're not trying to be heroes, but they're pretty much heroes. They're doing what they can for their kingdom, but they have a mutual respect for each other. The mutual respect sometimes involves them having to band together to be able to take down someone who is just so massively powerful, who is constantly abusing science or whatever the case may be, and because he wants to rule everyone else with an iron fist and then generalization is pretty much the same thing.

Speaker 2:

The biggest differences is like as far as like the special powers and like the kind of the development of the characters that, no, you could definitely say that's notably different. But as far as the general storyline is the same story different players pretty much like what they say you don't deploy, the games never change. The game never changed, but the players like the players change, but the game remains the same.

Speaker 1:

That's just pretty much what it was or I would have said like something based off um, when I did the fallout review, I'll be like war never changes. Everybody uh got an idea of how to save the world, but they disagree on how the pieces, like the chessboard.

Speaker 2:

The chessboard never changes, but the pieces change places and stuff. You know, that's all it is like. You can switch out the pieces, you can switch out the size, you can switch who goes first, but in the end of the day it's still the same game. No, nevertheless, but yeah so. But when it comes down to it, it's like geku.

Speaker 2:

He always kept trying, like he swore he had good plans, and it's just every single time it failed and he always played into the hands of what the girls was wanting and it just kept happening over and over and over again, to the point that I was so happy when they were just like just shut up. They told him look shut up, just shut up. Like your plans, keep your plans, keep backfiring. They're crap. Just shut up right now. Let us figure this out together. Like just shut up.

Speaker 2:

But um, I do like him in the fact that he never gave up and what he did. He had one moment where he felt like he was, but he pushed through and I love that he was able to push through that moment, but otherwise he just kind of never gave up. He was like this is what we got, this is what we move forward to is what we're going to keep doing. So yeah, now Hana. Hana got everything she deserved. She got every single time she tried to do something, it wound up ending up with her damn near butt naked on Kiyoshi.

Speaker 1:

Yeah and just imagine that it all started with their relationship, where Kiyoshi accidentally pissed on her and she was like I'm gonna get my revenge, it's gonna happen one way or another. I'm gonna piss on you, motherfucker.

Speaker 2:

One way or another, I'm gonna find you, I'm gonna get you, get you, get you, get you. No way yo. But everything always happened by chance. She literally was just sitting here like, oh yeah, and what was it she finally got? She was finally like, oh, I'm gonna get my revenge now. Now I'm gonna piss on you, ha ha.

Speaker 1:

and then she bends over and she takes off her underwear and he's like oh, oh oh, I don't know if I should say this as a dub or an L, but it's happening either way.

Speaker 2:

And she at that moment was like wait, I didn't think this through. No, you're not supposed to look. Don't look at me. And it's like it's too late. It's too late, You've already seen it. Especially these five dudes, if they see anything, they make mental images of it straight off the bat, Didn't?

Speaker 1:

she do that typical japanese shit where, oh, now that you've seen, uh, my private areas, I can't get married, or something, yeah yeah, yep, yep, that's the thing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's just like. No, you see me and I can't, and this is what to me you have to take responsibility for this we got me into this. I'm like this all happened in school and I'm just sitting here like chairman. I know you said you can't do nothing, but if you don't call these people, these kids, parents or something, bro like you just be letting this happen.

Speaker 1:

Funny part Mari. Keep in mind Mari and Gio. That's the Chairman's kids.

Speaker 2:

I know, I know it's like bro, just why? Then? The bad part about it is, let's put it this way, only one of the dudes actually wound up in this school for literally for dirty reasons, and that, of course, was Takehito. He was the only one Really. All the other ones they were there just because they kind of wound up having to be and they just tried to like what was going to take advantage while we're here. But they didn't go to that school for a perverse reason. Only he did.

Speaker 2:

But it's one of those ones. It's like all of them got caught up in stuff. But it's also one of those ones too, and the fact that, like, if we're going to be in the literal aspect, and probably the only literal aspect of this entire show, is the fact that, like they literally admitted the fact that when they opened it up the boys to school, they did not really prep the girls properly for it. There was no preparations for boys to be properly integrated. They didn't have. They didn't set up bath housing right, they didn't set up, they didn't set up anything correctly. So everything was set to fail the boys period. So it wouldn't have mattered who it is that joined.

Speaker 2:

You could have had a respectable gentleman that showed up Not Sanji, but respectable, kind of like him per se, minus his perversions, whatever the case and he still would have had an issue as soon as he went to the school and probably would have been in prison because they did not set up anything properly for it and it literally is the school's fault, like.

Speaker 1:

Nonetheless, it's the school's fault man, I don't know what's worse that uh, oh, you can go to prison, all that. But then again I remember out of nowhere, I don't know how it. I won't even say they're like similar, but it just reminds me of this anime called uh showman sample. Have you heard that one?

Speaker 1:

koki, I have I don't really know, but I heard of it, but I don't really know about it uh, essentially it's about how this one boy, for some weird circumstances because like some mix up in the paperwork essentially he gets uh transferred to this all girls academy, but the stipulations is that they assume that he's um, plays for a different team and he's really into muscular men, and that's the only reason why he gets to stay there. Because if it comes to find out that he actually likes girls, well, not only will he get expelled, but one of the girls there will cut off his dick with a large pair of scissors.

Speaker 2:

Not the first time that you hear about that possibly happening, to be honest with you. So I mean, what can you do? Just guess what girls. Yay, yay, she ain't gonna lie to you, bro.

Speaker 1:

But that was the thing though, the reason why I would say it was similar, because the girls were like not ready for male interaction, like I don't think they even talked to a boy before, because like it was just one of those things where so they were just in all girls schools most their lives didn't really interact with a boy up until this one kid showed up, and now these girls like treat them like a well, not exactly a celebrity. It wasn't like they were in love with them, or at least not at first, but it was just more like they just found him fascinating, like oh so this is what a boy looks like, that part you know, we've actually seen this happen plenty of times before.

Speaker 2:

Where the um? What was it? Where?

Speaker 1:

it's like the girls of that first song, because I might not do a review on it later was it?

Speaker 2:

no, no, I understand. There's one anime, I cannot remember what it was. There's one anime, and it actually is crazy enough. It's the fact that it's not a hentai, but they do actually made a hentai version of it, but the anime itself is not a hentai that reminds me how you fucked me up with redoing you like I've never been the same.

Speaker 1:

I can't believe it's not hentai, like what the fuck is all this.

Speaker 2:

Look, look, they're not gonna do a season two. We just know this, and unfortunately, there's no way to really read the manga, so it's just kind of just like it's, we just kind of up in the air onto it. Unfortunately, they just make it's never gonna happen, but I wished it would, you know, redo a healer. Everything that he did was justified. I stand by that. I stand by it anyway, but, um, no, no.

Speaker 2:

Some realness, though, is the fact that, like, there's a show is a show where the guy, this dude, he shows up to a dorm and what it is is the fact that it belonged to his grandfather and his grandfather had died. When his grandfather died, he passed along the dorm to him. So this dude's job is to make sure the dorm is up, kept properly, make sure that the girls are taken care of and it's an all-girls dorm and it only belongs, and only belongs to his grandfather. And, like, I want you to understand, when I first found out about this I found out through the hentai I was like, yeah, this seems like a very standard hentai ploy, but then, finding out, they said no, this is just a hentai twist on the actual show.

Speaker 2:

The actual show, this is just an actual regular anime. And I'm like they made this a regular anime and thought this was okay. Wait a second. Look, anything can be anime nowadays. Okay, I just found out, jb, you know this. I just found out. Apparently there's a time I was reincarnated as yamsha. I'm like, so yeah, literally turned dragon ball z into any sky too, like why I don't know what was that?

Speaker 1:

one new anime coming out, so like, okay, I got reincarnated, I'm a behemoth, but I got reincarnated as a cat and now I'm just this elf girl's pet. Now it was like this weird-ass type of I'm like. Bro, what happened to brevity man?

Speaker 2:

It does not exist no more. Look, I think that went away. To be honest, that went away when I got reincarnated as a vending machine See, reincarnating as a vending machine. See, reincarnated slime fantastic. And then it just got stupid from there. And then, once we got to ven like spider, reincarnated as a spider. That was good too, but once we got the vending machine, yeah, at this point it just got stupid.

Speaker 1:

And then now you just had the thor reincarnated.

Speaker 2:

The cat got reincarnated look, there's one with the dude. Didn't even get that, didn't even get isekai into another world. He was reincarnated as his fan, as his um, this girl that he likes and as a puppy and became, was adopted by this girl, by the girl. Oh yeah, he didn't even get the pleasure of going to another world. He still got stuck in the same world with an adult body. He's just like this is where we at this, this is, this is what we at right now. Like, oh gosh, but um, yeah, man, that's, this is what we at, this is this is what we deal with. And it's like all right, that's where we go I mean this.

Speaker 1:

this is why I say, compared to all that, the Eminence and Shadow was like a breath of fresh air.

Speaker 2:

They flipped that Isekai trope on its head, that's true, really quick because I know at this point I don't really have too much more to say about Prison School. It's pretty straightforward. I never read the manga. The only two guys that actually do have funny roles in there but they don't stick there as much is, of course, shinjo and joe. And like joe, I really like him because he's like cool, just laid back, dude, that's just back there and he just suffers and he's just like this is where the fuck we're at and it got you know so hilarious when you find out what his fetish is and you just like, holy crap, he says you're just as bad as the rest of us.

Speaker 1:

He's like I never said I wasn't and you're like oh god, but like I never thought it was that part that part.

Speaker 2:

That part man Shin was just I felt bad, cause Shin liked Hana but Hana liked Kiyoshi, so it was an awkward triangle into that situation.

Speaker 1:

Nah you know what I feel that. But you just reminded me of how I get pissed off at how, back when I was like going to school, how there would be some dudes that would hate on me because the girl they like liked me for some reason. And I'm like, bro, I can't help it. I'm not even talking to those girls. I don't know why you're getting mad at me.

Speaker 2:

Move the hell on like popular problems didn't happen under that I mean, I wasn't even popular.

Speaker 1:

It was almost like I was like what the fuck do y'all want from me?

Speaker 2:

man.

Speaker 1:

I'm not even, I'm not trying to interact with y'all. I'm not trying to make any friends, I just want to be left the fuck alone. But I just I feel, like See, this is why I say I relate to Kusuo's psyche so hard, to where I'm like leave this man alone, leave him the fuck alone.

Speaker 2:

I understand, but no, otherwise, those two characters, there's really not much into them. They do play something. There are some episodes where they play an important role, but not for the most part. Not for the most part. Honestly, andre the Giant is the funniest one to me. This dude is just hilarious.

Speaker 1:

In the manga. Okay, so he's pretty big, right? What if I told you he gets bigger About the size of a small house?

Speaker 2:

I believe it, I honestly believe it.

Speaker 1:

I mean, let's be honest, once you get into the manga manga, the five boys are pretty much just kind of there, like this um, focus shifted on the three girls because you know they're the one, the prison uniforms, all that shit now. So it's almost like, and they kind of get into the shenanigans and whatnot, but it's like the spotlight's not really on them anymore. Like, in fact, I would say, uh, shingo, joe and andre gets more spotlight in the manga, but then again, like, the spotlight's not really on them, mainly like. So, in other words, they get more exposure, but they're still relegated to side characters for the rest of the story.

Speaker 1:

Aww, yeah, that's why I'm saying like, read it if you want to. Don't recommend it.

Speaker 2:

Nah, I understand, but yeah, no, otherwise this is pretty kind of chill, like this whole show is just. The show is funny.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, the show is good, Like watch the anime and that's it. You're good. That's pretty much I can't accept that being the ending of prison school and like, oh, they just getting their just deserves and it's like no need to explore further than that because, they just fuck it up unfortunately, but yeah, so overall show was pretty straight.

Speaker 2:

I definitely encourage watching it because it's just hilarious. Just a little stupid comedy to kind of watch and stuff. I don't fully recommend watching it. Obviously I would never recommend watching this around kids, but if you're in a relationship, especially when this show gets kind of zesty.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

And it happens straight off in episode one, like towards the middle of episode one, just to let you know straight off the bat what type of shows it's going to be. And I think that's what kind of hooked me too. When I hit that first episode I was like, yeah, I'm going to be watching this.

Speaker 1:

Nah see, I'm going to be watching this, what you expect to happen in prison, happened as soon as episode three.

Speaker 2:

Fair, fair.

Speaker 1:

It's not what it looks like. I swear I'm like.

Speaker 2:

This is exactly what you look like. This is nothing different. Exactly this is exactly what you look like, what it looks like. There's nothing different.

Speaker 1:

I don't know if I can fuck with you that hard anymore. Man, I might need to watch out for you from now on. It's like every time you just mind your business, they walking behind you and they just turn around real quick and trying to cover your ass with your hands and it's like hey man, it ain't like that. I'm like hey man, bro, listen, like I'm cool with like, listen, if that's how you roll, like I'm not judging it. Just you know, don't come at me like that. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

Just be cool with that but yeah, this show is just, this show is out there but it happens, though it happens, um, but otherwise, yeah, I mean, this is, it's funny, but there's not much into it. And, to be honest with you, I you probably can, uh jb I'm not really gonna rate this show because this isn't a show that deserves a rating. To be honest with you I you probably can, uh jb I'm not really gonna rate this show because this isn't a show that deserves a rating. To be honest with you, not in my opinion um, eight as a comedy.

Speaker 1:

Uh, overall I would say, nah, I'm safe if you. If I look at it as a perverted comedy, I give it at least an eight, yeah okay, okay, but yeah, otherwise this is really nothing else.

Speaker 2:

This is a pretty funny show. Um, there's really not so much. There really isn't much too much to dive into. They peek in on the girls every opportunity they can. They get abused and, honestly, the funniest thing, literally google has a thing you know where they have, like they can sum up something in like two or three words type of thing, and for this show, when you look up prison school on google, it says in a nutshell, it just says abusive.

Speaker 1:

That's it, that's that's the one word that describes this entire show, honestly the plot isn't even that deep and and I am referring to both anime and manga, to where, like I said in the beginning, the manga pretty much dragged out this whole sports festival thing that they had going on, and then they just pretty much ended the manga with, you know what, everybody just fucking off in different directions. Pretty much it was, I would say anticlimactic manga with you know what?

Speaker 1:

everybody just fucking off in different directions. Pretty much it was, I would say, anti-climatic, unceremonious and undercooked mhm, definitely, but that's it.

Speaker 2:

that's all I got. Otherwise, it's funny. Until next time, I don't really have anything else to say. Until next time I'll be able to talk to you guys. Hopefully that will be when my Dragon Prince review comes out. I'm actually delayed watching it, unfortunately, but I'm finishing up Season 6 right now, but Season 7 was just announced to drop on December 19th, so you know I'm going to hop on that too. Oh, she's kind of cutting out on me. No, no, you're good, I'm actually just thinking at the moment, but that's it. Oh, okay, so, family, friends of all ages, thank y'all so much for listening to me. Jb, I ain't got nothing else, man, I got it Well.

Speaker 1:

Cookie Monster, I do thank you for joining me for this review and I thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for listening to us to the end. You know I always say this at the end of every episode. You know you can just follow us on social media. We're mainly on Facebook. We're trying to get more, more active on instagram and um twitter, but I gotta work on some graphic designs and whatnot where, like, I kind of want to do something to where it just seems like we're actually putting in effort and you can actually see the work. But there's just a whole bunch of things that we need to work out and make sure that the team is on the same page about what I have in mind, because I'm trying to make 2025 even better than this year, because we got a whole bunch of episodes out now and we got a whole bunch more episodes coming soon, like suicide squad, isekai.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna talk about medaka box at some point. Uh, we're gonna put out the fairy tale extreme review at some point. Uh, I want to talk about trinity 7. Uh. Mashal. Uh, I'm gonna talk to talos and talk about doing cogeos. Uh, one of my all-time favorite anime, catechia Hitman Reborn. I'm going to work on that, around my birthday in September, going to talk to the ladies about Sailor Moon, cosmos and a whole bunch of other shit. That's going on. But until then, until the next episode, stay nerdy, my friends. Remember that great things are coming and we're going to go ahead and zone out of here. So have yourself a good morning, good afternoon and good evening. Take it easy.
