Speaker 1:

welcome back to the zone podcast, where we like to talk about video games that you probably played for hundreds of hours. I'm jeff black extreme, and joining me today is talos, gundam and playboy. As we talk about zenless zone zero, without further ado, let's go ahead and zone in on it. Zenless zone zero is a action-packed post-apocalyptic adventure, rpg-type game with a gotcha system that we're going to talk about in just a moment. It's set in a world where humanity is at near extinction because of these dimensional rifts called Hollows, and these rifts are unleashing these monsters called Ethereals that's wreaking havoc on the rest of civilization. So we got the last bastion of humanity at New Eridu, where they're trying to band together to fight against these threats from the other world.

Speaker 1:

And the protagonists of the story are like a group of fighters we call them agents and they operate under the banner of a proxy where our two main characters that we follow is wise and bill you can pick one or the other like either wise or bill and essentially proxies are like guides for agents to go through the hollows for whatever mission they need to accomplish.

Speaker 1:

They usually have a robotic companion called a bangboo that the proxy use like their eyes and ears in the hollow, while they also have like this uh, television television, stylized, I want to say, like blocks, where you kind of traverse through this digital network in the HDD, the hollow deep dive system. You essentially on your computer, operating your bang boo within the hollow while you're safe at home, operating your bang boo guiding agents within the hollow while you're safe at home Operating your Bangboo Guiding agents through the hollows and essentially whatever mission that comes up by your commission, broker or whatnot. And essentially what happened in the beginning to where, combined, wise and Bill are Faithless, who is like the top tier legendary proxy team and a hacker tricked them into, like you know, taking their uh original account. So you, since we have to start from scratch, so they are not new to what you have to go through with your internet levels, but as a new player, he's like okay, uh, what's this, what's that?

Speaker 1:

uh so essentially, you have to climb all the way up to the top to like level 60, uh, to get to like the maximum internet level. Uh, where was I with all this? Oh yeah, so each member, each agent have these unique abilities and backgrounds to table. They, these dynamic teams that tackle these challenges posted by uh, hollows and cereals, uh, missions, like I said before, these landscapes and rip zones. Uh, amidst all these chaos, you can build trust levels to gain more uh stuff and, like I said, there's like a whole gotcha system, but I'll get to that in just a moment.

Speaker 1:

You play as these characters. These are very endearing characters, like, if they're not endearing, at the very least their design is just top tier in my opinion, and I'm going to get to these characters in just a moment. So, honestly, I would say Xenolith, zone Zero. After one month of playing the game even though I've been kind of busy with like 10-hour shifts at work and whatnot, but I have been putting in some hours into Zenless Zone Zero I'm just not as much like. I'm not like level 40 or 50 or 60 like some of these other players, but like I'm getting there in my own time. Enough about me. That's my general view of the plot and personally I'd say Endless Zone Zero is a very fun game that I would highly recommend. It's free to play If you have a PlayStation. I don't know about Xbox, but definitely PC or PlayStation, I think on the Switch, I don't know on the Switch, I don't think so. Definitely PS5 and PC for sure. Give it a chance.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a fun game. It's not exactly what I thought it was off first impression without playing it. You know how you have an impression of a game before you actually play it. I thought it would be with all the characters. I'm not going lie, I thought it's. The online feature of it would have been a little bit more, uh, I don't know, more online-ish.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, just the uh mini games yeah, like uh, against an impact where you can do co-op yeah, at least you know I was thinking it was something like that.

Speaker 2:

But um, aside from that, the game is nice. It does have potential for that type of you know gameplay, because you can tell by the stages and the levels. It's very like similar to genshin in that aspect, to where you probably won't um be with. If you were to co-op, you probably wouldn't do it like in the open world, it wouldn't be doing the missions like through the hollow missions, basically, um, now, honestly, though, you have to be like turn-based, or like like a raid facts, facts, like a raid, more like yeah yeah, that was the word for it um, but like, honestly though, like the game, the story is is very immersive.

Speaker 2:

I like the way that it is and how it lets you make certain choices, and it got to the point like I didn't know if I even messed up at one point. It was asking, I think, when you got hacked. There was that one point. When you get hacked, and then somebody's like basically like threatening to blackmail or ransom or something, and then I think I was like play stupid. I picked the option, play stupid. I picked the option to play stupid.

Speaker 1:

Nah, that would happen to everybody.

Speaker 2:

Okay, okay. I was like then I played stupid and it made them mad and they deleted everything on file and I'm like oh shit.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you thought it was like Undertale Dweller. Oh, you really fucked up.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh, you know you couldn't even go back or nothing. I'm like, oh man, I gotta deal with it. I mean I do like the whole concept of the um going into the hollows and having to unlock the little, the little, uh nodes and stuff like that. Right, the computer science and that stuff kind of intrigued me Going into the actual. I just like the whole concept of it. It's like I like how they have their different factions To hire for these things.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, I also did like that part too. You know how, with Genshin, they have these different nations and you have characters coming from these different nations of course, so you can say that's like faction and you also have like the patooli and what not. But with um, z3 Is like more pronounced to, where, right Off the bat, you know that you're gonna have the cunning Hairs, uh, pub, um, not pubs, I was gonna say Pubs, but it's like public security Team, uh, the Victoria Housekeeping agency, uh, billabog industries, uh all these different facts where I'm like, yeah, like I said before, uh, they got some likeable characters in each of these factions but uh, at the same time, uh, getting them to making them playable, like that's just luck of the draw yeah, I ain't got.

Speaker 2:

Like said I didn't get as far as getting a high level, I did get to the next fashion and play with a couple of the other characters Gotcha.

Speaker 1:

Okay, okay, Talos your impression of Z3?.

Speaker 4:

Alright, so relatively, folks, I'm going to try first. Yes, this is your Mecca manager. This is that guy. Hey, I've been waiting to hit on this for a while, because Triple Z is by far one of these games that you're just like. You know what. I can put money into this. You know what it's one of them on, Like it's not.

Speaker 4:

I understand and I'm hitting on the top because I was waiting for this game in particular Because folks I know we go through that whole thing with gotcha games and we're like, oh my God, they just want to spend money. Oh my God, oh my God, oh, oh my god, they just want to spend money. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Look, don't get me wrong. I was like that, I get it. Because with Genshin and with a lot of the other games, like maybe Bleach man, I understand.

Speaker 4:

I don't want y'all to know, I understand the nights and the days with me, how me and my brothers would literally be trying to sit up here, grab characters. Hey yo, you got this one, Do you got this one? We pulling from this band All the times that we got to go and sit there to get in-game currency for stuff to level up and make characters maxed out so that way you can do the raids and everything else. I get it, but with this one it doesn't make you feel like that Combat system wise. I like it. Yes, I know. Like, like legit, Don't get me wrong, I like Honka Star Real as well. I do, I like Honka Star Real as well, but within that same note and process. This does not feel like a normal gacha game.

Speaker 4:

This doesn't feel like that. The combat system makes it so worth it to go and be like hey, you know what? Let me build a team and see what this look like.

Speaker 4:

Let me see what this work out like. So I don't mind it, I definitely do. Story-wise, the story is relatively it's good, it's hella fine good. I have at least like 8 friends that have completed everything. Right now they waiting on more stuff to be added, but like story is out there, phenomenal, right characters in which I know we'll get more into cause. I wanna hear from y'all as well, like who's y'all favorite character in your roster?

Speaker 1:

but I'm gonna tell you right now I forget her name.

Speaker 4:

I'll look at her name later when I go back to my room. No, it's not. It's not the new girl, even though I like police girl. I haven't pulled her yet. I like police Girl. I haven't pulled her yet. I like Police Girl. Oh the cat.

Speaker 1:

That feline, nick Amata Savage. Ooh, I love her the way she like rips through Fucking nasty.

Speaker 4:

I love her Because of the fact that I have her and the mechanic and the mechanic's sister Grace.

Speaker 1:

Yes, oh, gracie on Kalita.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, because I have, because I have them two already. Alright, yeah, you're not fucking with my team, no hold on.

Speaker 1:

I gotta talk to you about something. I'm not curious, but continue.

Speaker 4:

But yes, so, like legit, I love Nekomata. I love her. I love her death. That's one of my favorite characters. Alright, now the other one is the one that you get for free my boy with the guns, billy.

Speaker 1:

Oh, I love doing that.

Speaker 4:

That's my boy that motherfucker yeah, I like him so relatively. You love doing that. That's my boy. That motherfucker yeah, I like him so relatively across the board right now. For me, overall, I gave the game a nine out of ten.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would say the same Mainly because you know like it's brand new. So it makes a very strong impression right out of the gate, but it's like I'm still waiting for the other two to drop.

Speaker 4:

Look, I get it and I feel like that too a little bit, but at the same time I'm like you know what. I'm going to give it a chance and I'm not going to be so doubtful.

Speaker 4:

Right, I'm not going to be so doubtful and be like yeah, hey, you know this is gonna have some bad plots to it. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm gonna tag out my issue here that I don't think I have with it Was the whole fact of hey, yeah, you know, look, you can get 180 things for free when you sign up for the game. But I'm gonna tell you something like legit, they made up for that because we know how to farm that shit.

Speaker 4:

Now Because we know how to farm it. Yeah, I can overlook currency and be like I ain't got to buy shit. I can just buy the battle pass that's in there and go through and get the little extra stuff that I can do against you and level up characters, and I ain't got to worry about in-game currency because, guess what, all I got to do is go through and get everything else. Mind you, I still want the shark.

Speaker 1:

Ellen okay.

Speaker 4:

I just Police Girl is my number one current moment. Police Girl is my number one hunting at the moment. Police Girl is my number one hunt at the moment.

Speaker 1:

Okay, alright, check this out. So let me go ahead and do like this. I have Police Girl Like. First of all, you triggered like three things I want to talk about. First of all, let me go ahead and talk about the characters here. I tried to pull for Ellen. I felt miserable. As soon as police girl Juyeon showed up, I had enough for a temple right. I rolled the dice. I swear to God, got her that easy. That's why I said with this gotcha system I can't even complain, like I thought with the 50, 50 like.

Speaker 1:

I um walked in knowing I knew that if I wasn't gonna get ellen, the chance of me getting ju yen in this banner will be stronger. Now not only do I have police girl, I also have grace, I have the mechanic. I also have, let me see, aside from you know, you get Billy, andy, nicole, strong, dependable, reliable characters. Of course I have Anton, I have Shokaku, I got Lucy, piper, corrin because you know Corrin's fairly free too, like. You get her like almost instantly too. And you also get Ben for free. But I got him along with Zhu Yan when I pulled for her. So I got him along with that 10 pull.

Speaker 1:

So that's who I got so far not a whole like S tier. Like you know, you got Lycan and Nekomata, kalita, kalita, soldier 11, ellen, uh and Rina, uh, those are the remainder. Those are the only ones I don't have, so I'm short by uh. Six characters. And the thing with Ellen it's probably gonna be harder to get her now that her banner is gone, but she's going to be back. It's going to be like Genshin Impact, where I thought, well, I knew playing like Brave Frontier to, where I knew that they're not going to just introduce a character and if you don't get this character at this time you're just shit out of luck. No, no, no, no, it might be a while, but they'll come back most definitely, most definitely.

Speaker 4:

That's my thing that I like about Hoyoverse at least that when they do do banners it's like hey, you know what, if you missed out on this one this time, alright, just wait, you'll get that character another time. So that's why I was like okay, you know what, and I couldn't get, I couldn't get lean, but I'm getting police, I'm getting police girl but here's the thing d3 made me realize that you have to be very meticulous about your pulls to where.

Speaker 1:

Uh, if you you have to like, do your research on the character and make sure is this character necessary for your teams? Do you need this character like? Is she, like he or she gonna be like an asset, because they're all good in their own right. But I'm just saying like, uh, do you want to waste your polychromes and your tapes and whatnot on a character to where? I'm like, okay, they don't add a whole lot of synergy to the other units that I got. So like, say, for instance, if you had Ellen, then she would be great for characters like Shokaku and Lycan and like an all ice team and they'll be like strong right there. And like an all ice team and they'll be like strong right there, uh. Or, if you like, pull reena. Reena is very good with electric types like grace and ambi, uh. But all I'm saying is like, sometimes if you think, oh shit, oh, I missed out on getting this one character, hey, sometimes if you don't get the character that you wanted the last banner, you have a better chance at getting the character that you want in this banner. But if that's the character that you want, you gotta do that research and see if, uh, even their play style is gonna be like something you might like like.

Speaker 1:

Let me tell you, juyeon, I fucking love the way she fights. It's like the kicks and whatnot. She blasts you in the face and whatnot. Oh man, like police brutality. She's great with Nicole and Ambie. That's done. Ether, uh combos, where it'll be easier to do more damage when, um, your opponent is done by Amby's um technique. And that's another thing. Uh, jinky, uh, almost called it Chingy, like the rapper. Uh, chingy, she's going to be the next done character. I want her. I can, if I get her, I can live without Jane. I think I can live without Jane. I need to do more research on Jane, but I did look up Xing Yi and I do want her. What else? I pretty much talked about the gacha system. That's fair enough. Characters I did like them, fuck. I forget the third one. But oh well, playboy, you got any favorites.

Speaker 2:

I don't have that many as y'all do, so mine is favorite, limited now detail Wise. I could tell you what characters I might Like like. I do like characters Like detail wise For some reason, and I don't know why. I just like playing with Nicole. I do like characters like detail-wise, now playing-wise for some reason, and I don't know why I just like playing with Nicole. She's the one with the suitcase right. Yes, yes, yes, that's the boss. That's the boss. Yeah, yeah, oh, she the boss, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's the boss. Vibe, she always on it. Boss bitch, I think that's what it is, her and her character all in general, and then the fucking her play style.

Speaker 1:

She's like the Regina George of Z3.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like the characters, man, they all got their own personalities and then their fighting styles. I don't know who boys in the game I like fighting. Like I was trying to tell you earlier. You know how I was saying I like the noble part of the game. Some of the characters, for example the wolf one from the Bridesmaid house, he's not my favorite but I love fighting with him. You know what I'm saying. I would pick him all the time to fight with him, but I wouldn't say he's one of my favorite characters.

Speaker 1:

So he's kind of like in there somewhere. That reminds me the third part I was going to mention how, if you pay close attention, this isn't one of those games where you can just button, match and win. It's like there's combos, like there's like a meticulous way to where you have to press buttons in a certain way to get certain combos off, so you could say there's fighting game elements in this game. To where, like uh, certain combos, to where it does different effects who, where you'll be more effective when you're taking down ethereals and whatnot. Yeah, that's why I was saying with Yu Yan you can kind of see that to where. Okay, you can't just mash button and assume that that's all it takes. Nah, you gotta like there's a flow to it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know you're fast because they even tell you that if you dodge at a certain time. You know you're fast because, like, they even tell you that if you dodge at a certain time, you can, like, counter the enemy and do extra damage. I'd be killing that shit.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, especially with the assist dodge where, like, instead of just pressing X to dodge, you just use L1, r1, and then it's like a assist pair, like a parry assist. That's what I like. I like that. Oh, you know what I like? How stylized this game is to where you can definitely tell it's like inspired by anime, to where it has like these comic strips or immersive storytelling. That's another element that I like about this game. There's a lot of elements I like about this game. Honestly, like the daily life activities and all that. There's a lot where it's like.

Speaker 1:

It's one of those games where it's very easy to want to come back to this game every fucking day Because there's always something to do. I mean until you like hit the wall to where, like, okay, you maxed out your characters, you maxed out your internet level's, like I just, I guess I just log in to get my free stuff and then peace out, I guess. Or you get to get dailies, yeah, like, because it's still new and they're still adding shit on. Like, unless you don't really play that much, you won't hit the wall that fast. But the only way you would hit the wall is like you really play this game like all day, every day, and then you just maxed out like super early.

Speaker 1:

I'm like, well, good for you, but like I'll slow cook this game because I'm still enjoying it. So I'm like I'm not in a rush to like max out, but I do want to like make sure that I log in every once a few days so I don't miss out on some good shit. Um, yeah, like the fighting combo, like I like the way they do fighting games and oh yeah, uh, I was saying about how it was inspired by anime. Well, from the character design to the comic strip style, immersive storytelling and even in the fights, to where it just seems like, yeah, you can definitely tell that they take some, um, inspiration from the way anime period. Oh, man, you know what? Since they were talking about getting impact and potentially getting an anime adaptation, I can definitely see Z3 getting an anime adaptation.

Speaker 2:

I can definitely see that it starts off like it's own show, like it's with it's own anime, in a sense like that's what really got me, like wait, I'm gonna play this shit. It's like watching anime.

Speaker 1:

You're like in it right and it's like you kinda kind of want to get to know all these different characters too, like how, eventually you get trust level or like specific commission, to where you get to know these characters a little bit more, and that's kind of a funny thing to where, like, as much as I like the action, I do love the fact that you have characters where you kind of want to feel something, like either you feel something for them or they're like relatable to a degree, like, uh, for instance, let me talk about piper real quick. I want to pick on her a little bit because I like her but let's play play play the way she be like swinging around and shit.

Speaker 1:

I love that shit. She's like a fun character to play as Lucy too, to where she summon those little pigs and you just hit them in the back and you just like go off. I like how when you summon them, they go up to the ethereal and start beating them up and shit.

Speaker 2:

That's the wicked hell yeah.

Speaker 1:

Um, we need more tanks it. It kind of makes no sense to where ben is going to be the only tank for a while, so I'm like let's have more tanks.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's, that's. Yeah, yes, they focus a lot on the dps and I guess that's I don't know, I don't want to say it's just like overwatch again yeah, I don't want to say it's because of the like gameplay, because, like you say, it's not a really, it's not really a button matching game, you know. At the same time, it's also not dark souls games.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, one tank yeah, like, uh, I would say, if you need to run like hollow zero or shiryu defense or something like that, like something to where the difficulty level is going to be like super high and you want to have someone that's going to have like some endurance, so at the very least, if your other two agents gets wiped out, you'll still have your one tank club or, better yet, just open with your tank so that way you're the rest of the team can have some uh, survivability while, okay, if the tank's down, you still have your two. Um, best like attackers or whatever. I would say for balance, a tank, uh, a support and an attacker will be ideal. Start off with your tank and then you just sort of cycle out with your attacker and supporter and if the tank goes out first, then I would say, um, next up is your attacker and support will be your last line. Like you have to be really desperate to be like standing up against the board.

Speaker 4:

Okay, so for me, right? I don't play in that format, the format that I relatively play it in. I play it in as melee range, melee range, melee fighter, range fighter, then support. That's how I play it Melee fighter, range fighter and then Support. That's how I play. I typically play A melee fighter. That way I have Balance, so I can.

Speaker 1:

That's why I would say Nicole and B and Billy Is like perfectly balanced In that aspect.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, now, mind you, mind you right, I do have one team that when I'm going To go just farm For stuff, it's almost, it's almost when it's like, mind you right, I do have one team that when I'm going to go just farm for stuff, it's almost where it's like majority of it is two melee and one range and I'm just like bye-bye, continuously, constantly going in there like, all right, nope, I'm going to just go hit this. Then I'm going to back all the way out to make sure that I can get away from it. Now I do like the tanks, don't get me wrong. I do like the tanks Because I've noticed that these tanks are relatively not as tank-like like I'm normally used to, but they literally are. Some of them are relatively fast.

Speaker 3:

Now, Anton for a bear.

Speaker 1:

For a bear.

Speaker 4:

I didn't think he was like that.

Speaker 1:

Oh, no, no, no, Ben, like Anton's the one with the drill.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, okay, I have Anton, I have Ben, but the bear, yes, I didn't think he was like that. Oh, yeah, I like Ben. I didn't think he was like that. So yeah, that he was like that.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I like that. You think he was like this. So, yeah, that was. That was nice. He's nice on that one. That's thomas man. You made it to the podcast. What's up, man?

Speaker 3:

what's popping everybody? It's your favorite ball bad here, how's it?

Speaker 1:

going not much, man. Well, you know what, now that you made on the podcast like, uh, we're going over characters. Uh, what are your favorite characters in v3 and what's your overall impression of the game?

Speaker 3:

okay, so if we're gonna go with favorite characters, um, I think her name is ellen, yeah yeah, her speed is ridiculous. Her damage is stupid. Her DPS is just Absolutely ridiculous. I love the fact that I can play a bear. And what's his name? The dude who's like Half werewolf, half man.

Speaker 1:

Lycan.

Speaker 3:

The Lycan. He's like Every woman's daddy right now.

Speaker 1:

He's not wrong, I mean.

Speaker 3:

It's so hard.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, not trying to be One of those guys about it, but Also Can we have more male characters? Like I love the females, I love the ladies, but more balanced look look hey, hey, I, I get you same time, same time.

Speaker 4:

My thing is I can we have, uh, at least one more character that does kicks, please?

Speaker 1:

thank you like y'all don't understand to have a character that can attack with kicks like that no see, that's why I say that, uh, I got, I got sweet girl ju yen, and with her kicks I'm like, oh man, she's like fucking fierce with those. But uh, I want, like, and I don't have liking yet, but I want him too and I feel you to where, like you have a whole kickboxing agent give me one more right now.

Speaker 4:

That's all I need. Just one more, just one more, kicker wait, hold on.

Speaker 1:

Maybe ching yi might do it. I don't know, I need to look at her gameplay yeah, what about?

Speaker 3:

what about like a like a full-on hand-to-hand combat type character, one who just only uses his fists like I want?

Speaker 1:

I want something like that I would say Anton is the first one, but I don't remember if there's anyone else.

Speaker 3:

He's an electric drill. He kicks and drills. What I'm trying to get at is I want a character that full-on is just fists.

Speaker 1:

Or like got some gauntlets on, Like some high some gauntlets on Like some high tech gauntlets yeah, exactly, okay, okay.

Speaker 4:

So basically what I'm hearing is you kind of want somebody else like Nekomata again, like basically somebody who's like full on out, not just pink.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, like wait till I scratch it up in that game. But I want this character to be like oh okay, we got Nakamata. Oh, you know what? That reminds me of old buddy from Kaiju, number 8. Director General, general Director Shinomiya, with the fucking gauntlets, something like that, like that, exactly like that. Okay, I got you, I feellets Something like that, exactly like that.

Speaker 3:

Okay, I got you, I feel oh, I want that I want that, exactly Like I want a little bit more like that and like I love You're like one punch, exactly. I also like. I love the game too much. This game is great. The jiggle fit. You know the jiggle physics is fucking up.

Speaker 1:

Oh wait, grace and the jiggle physics is fucking up.

Speaker 3:

dude, like I can't with the jiggle physics.

Speaker 1:

See, this is why, Honestly, this is why I say that I'm not too mad about not getting Ellen. When I got Grace to where I'm, like those jiggle physics I was like you know what, I'm not even mad.

Speaker 3:

Exactly.

Speaker 1:

And with Juyeon I'm like, oh, pick up what.

Speaker 3:

Exactly Like damn. I want to enjoy the game without it being like, without it being hard in life. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

Yeah right, Any more favorites for you? I?

Speaker 3:

can go on. Grace is amazing, absolutely amazing and, I think, to finalize, the leader of the cats.

Speaker 1:

Oh, the hair Nicole. Oh, the hairs, nicole.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I love Nicole's abilities. The police officer is great, but I need to chill.

Speaker 1:

Hold on, I'm trying to think of that one song that was really popping off. I'm trying to think Playboy, maybe you might remember. You remember Miss Officer the song. Yeah, exactly be popping off. But I'm trying to think, oh, playboy, maybe you might remember all you remember, miss officer the song yeah, exactly yeah, like I'm that's. That's the song that plays in my head every time I play it is.

Speaker 2:

So I was like seventh grade jesus christ. Uh, that was little wayne.

Speaker 1:

I know somebody else oh yeah, it was little wayne. And uh yeah, mrs office, excuse me, uh, I thought it was. Oh wow, yeah, that's a throwback yeah that was back in the carter three. That was like one of oh, remember back when that yeah, that was that was is it really getting to that point?

Speaker 2:

I'll give you that that was a very good album. Is it really? Is it long? Is it getting to that point?

Speaker 1:

It was long Wait. What now?

Speaker 2:

I was just saying it's really been that long already, like.

Speaker 1:

Damn. Yeah, hold on, saitama. Let me get your opinion On the other characters Real quick. Uh, hold on Saitama. Um, let me get your opinion on the other characters real quick. So I was saying how I love the mechanic race. Uh, I have the police girl. Uh, anton's cool.

Speaker 1:

Chokaku is great as she's like one of my favorite supports, honestly, with the uh, ice whirlwind and all that shit. I like lucy with the way she like, uh, uses her pigs like beat up the ethereals and sometimes, um, hit them with the back. Uh, piper is like a human beyblade. Uh, I like ben. He's like a cinnamon roll bear who's like the only tank so far. We need more tanks. And then there's corin, who would like oh man, hold on, hold on. Let me talk for a little bit to where, like I fucking love how she got like this chainsaw staff or sights going on like chainsaw woman type shit going on. I like I like the way she plays, too, soldier Eleven. We have Ellen. You already mentioned her. I definitely like her with the way she uses bang boos. She's like she reminds me of Lisa from Genshin Impact in a way. So we're like this magician type character. She's like a very unique character about this, this roster so far, we have Koleda, the leader of the Umbilla Ball. Like she has a.

Speaker 3:

I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Like I feel like her Moves. That is kind of awkward for me, but maybe I just need to get used to her. And then you got the boy like Lycan, who's like Very good with his Kicks and whatnot. He's another stunt character, right, yeah, he is. So yeah, I like all that dingy, I want her and I'm on the fence about jane and uh, there's also another guy on set that's coming up that, uh, I know nothing about, but I think overall, very good game I got high hopes for in the future what I'm, what I'm feeling about the game right now, is that this game really does feel like the.

Speaker 1:

Uh, the employees got paid really well, the animators got paid really well oh yeah, I was I was mentioning how this game is very well inspired by anime, between its immersive storytelling and some of the in-game fight animations, to where, yeah, you can tell that it feels like an anime, to a point to where I'm not surprised if it gets an anime adaptation. With the way Genshin Impact is supposedly getting an anime adaptation, I don't know if that's still gonna be a thing, but if anything, this game definitely deserves a TV format.

Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, and one of the things that I expected Genshin Impact to be is what Dead in the Zone Zero is right now. And you know, I love the mechanics, I love how everything works as is right now. There are certain things that I expected from the mechanics to be there, but in reality, as it is right now, I actually don't mind how it is. It has never crashed on me, the game To me it has had no bugs, zero bugs whatsoever. I love Piper also.

Speaker 3:

Piper piper is like damn she hits hard um, because like, how do you, how the fuck is that a person, that one lonely girl, can do 81 000 damage? No, it's fucking crazy. Um, and then, uh, the police officer. Again, she's a fucking freight train, and and if you combo her very well and give her everything that she needs, she'd be one of the best characters that you can have right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, like see, this is one of those games where I kind of want all these characters but at the same time going forward with the limited characters. It's a matter of would this character fit your style of play, because sometimes you might want that character, but do you really need that character right now?

Speaker 3:

What I want to see right now, though. I want to see our protagonist joining the fight, that doesn't necessarily a bankroll.

Speaker 1:

Well, I think the uh reason why is mainly because, uh, keep in mind, with this story, you have to have like some sort of resistance to the hollow, like some folks have like a higher resistance to the whole. Well, anybody can go into hollow, of course, but, uh, some folks have a higher resistance to the whole. Well, anybody can go into hollows, of course, but, uh, some folks have a higher uh resistance from becoming an ethereal. That's the one thing that we kind of forget. To where, uh, the whole point of raiding these hollows, where you might need to um quell these ethereals trying to get out into the real world or not real world, uh, into the human world, their world, and also, in case something gets like lost in there, and then you have to retrieve and whatnot, uh.

Speaker 1:

So you kind of think of it like it's almost like solo leveling in a way. It's like these dungeons that shows up and you have to deal with them before there's an outbreak that uh causes damage to their world. So, yeah, that's why I'm saying like, once again, I can kind of see it being anime, because it's basically solo leveling, but in a dystopian world when, you know, there's animal people and androids and, surprisingly, some retro stuff, like how they have, like these retro TVs and they still use VHS tapess tapes, so like whoa, okay, uh, this is why, okay, that's why it kind of reminds me of fallout 2 where, uh, even though it's in the future, they still have retro shit yeah, like I lost my mind when I saw that there were bears in the game.

Speaker 3:

That shit fucked me up. And then when I saw nikomata and when I saw shokako, when I saw all these characters, when I saw furries, I'm like, oh shit, it's an ad time game it's like one of those games where I'm like, yeah, you know, anthromorphic People are among us.

Speaker 1:

We have, like, android people too, so this is normal, this is fine.

Speaker 3:

We gonna get freaky real quick here. We gonna get real freaky up in this bitch. We got tail up in this. Yeah, this is gonna get real freaky Real quick. We got really tail up in this. Yeah, this is going to get real freaky real quick. We got really weird really quick. Oh, hell, yeah, hell yeah. Isn't the concept of the bang boos already fucked me up? I was like nah, this shit is too cute.

Speaker 1:

No see, that's what made the game marketable too, because, think about this, I do 3D printing right. So, yes, you can make like resin statues of each of these characters. Yes, of course. But what's going to make this game even more marketable is, with the bang boots to where you can imagine like keychains and plushies and all that shit, to where I'm like, yeah, like this is going to appeal to both male and female demographics to both male and female demographics.

Speaker 3:

You can make a whole list of things that I've already thought of. When you're making a bank move, type of Imagine the gallery cards you can make um, well, what's the word that I'm looking for? Where you put your, your pennies and quarters in there? Uh, you make a little little bank thing into your house. You can make a like a flashlight. You can make oh, oh, my god, what can you make? You can make a whole bunch of shit. You can make bouncy toys. You can make keychains yes. You can make necklaces. You can make earrings. You can make keychains. Jeans Shit bro. You can make even shoes for them. Bitches too.

Speaker 1:

Those little backpacks that's shaped like them.

Speaker 3:

Backpacks shaped like them. Man Flushies up the fucking ass. Man, you know how many bamboos there are?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's like at least a dozen, Like maybe more.

Speaker 3:

There's a lot of bamboos, man, and a lot of there's rare bamboos too, like the golden bamboo and the platinum bamboo.

Speaker 1:

And keep in mind this game is brand new.

Speaker 3:

It's like a month old. They can make more of these motherfuckers. Yeah, exactly, it hasn't been out that long. And the merchandise potential. These people aren't fucking stupid. They know what they were doing. They knew exactly what they were doing and they knew exactly what the demographic was when they made these female characters. They knew exactly who their fucking partner was.

Speaker 1:

Oh, no, no, no. We gotta give something for the ladies too. Something for the ladies.

Speaker 3:

Liking. Hell yeah, daddy Shit bro. Like all I saw on Reddit was fucking women losing their goddamn minds over liking.

Speaker 1:

It was like oh well, you know, once again the gaming industry is placating to the male uh power fantasy. Then they see lycan, oh whoa this is what I hate.

Speaker 3:

It appeals to the male fantasy. It's just like you can't fucking tell me no no, no.

Speaker 1:

Lichen is like that dude, that one meme to where it's like You're just standing in the mirror and it's like, just imagine yourself to be the person that you want to be. And it's just Lichen in the mirror.

Speaker 3:

Bro Lichen is Henry Cavill and Ryan Reynolds Put together and made a dog.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you know what, you know what, you know what. I'll let you have that. I can see that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, no. And here's the thing Put leather all around his body and make it look like he's in the bonding.

Speaker 1:

He's good to go. You know what? No, no, no, you know what he look like Legolas from Beastars, but with drip? No, no, you know what he looked like?

Speaker 3:

Legolas from Beastars but with drip, with drip, yeah, with drip, it hit the drip. It hit a lot of the drip, damn. Yeah. No, he hit the drip. He fucking went MMA too. Those kicks are driving him out. He can hit you from 15 feet away. He'll jump at you at 15 feet away. He'll jump at you at 15 feet away and still kick you in the fucking face square on, no problem. And ice, that's not burn, that's ice. It's gonna hurt me more.

Speaker 1:

Like he can literally ice skate on your grave.

Speaker 3:

Hell yeah, he's gonna be skating up in your ice, in your grave, he's gonna be skating on top of it, and then, when he's done, he's gonna clean it too. He's gonna be like at least make it look nice.

Speaker 1:

Maybe play some hockey on it while you're at it.

Speaker 3:

Fucking crazy ass people. Also, the construction crew. I love the crew, all the crews that they have in this game. They go very well with each other and they complement each other.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, can I just say that I love how these factions feel like family to a degree. It's like each time you introduce a new faction it's like I like their relationship. You know, that's another thing. Like it's not always about the actions, like sometimes it's the little things like maybe you just like these characters like they're endearing in their own right. Maybe you like the simple things like taking taking pictures of cats or um doing like little chores for the neighborhood you know what I mean. Like um, with that fucking uh police mascot that you have to do with the stamps and shit, like little things. So I'm like, okay, there's more to it than just hacking flags, like just beat them up, type shit. Like okay, there's like more, there's like a well-rounded picture going on. So I'm like okay.

Speaker 3:

Gives you a lot to do in a day and then, once you're done with the day, like you did all the choices you need to do. You don't have to necessarily keep going. You can chill, sit back for a bit, come back tomorrow and we'll we'll kick back exactly where we left off, even if you were in a like in a fight. If you're in the middle of a fight, you're gonna go right back into the fight exactly where you were. You're gonna go right back into it and you're gonna finish exactly where you were. Pretty much, yeah, so they really did put the like, their thought onto this, uh, onto this game, which I'm actually really proud that they did.

Speaker 1:

This in a weird way. I say that I kind of like gotcha games and the aspect of uh, kind of what talib was saying uh, I know he had to leave uh momentarily because he had an emergency that came up. But uh, he was saying how, with the gotcha system, that you could go whaling in this game, but you don't necessarily have to, but at the same time it's like it's one of those games where not only can you like, okay, if you've done your dailies and whatnot, it's all come down to are you gonna pull that one character that you've been wanting, or like uh, even if you don't go whaling, it's still fun to just experience, you know. But, uh, what was I trying to say? Uh, fuck, fuck, fuck.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I like how I think gotcha games is more friendly towards the young adult demographic, I would say at least the demographic between 18 and 30, 35, maybe a higher only because I'm saying that, like we just said, uh, you do your dailies, you go to your uh that combat place, the arena to where you just get uh items. You need to level up your agents and whatnot, the hia club. Uh, essentially, once you did all that, you're done. And I'm like, yeah, because you know, chances are, you're probably a young adult who have a job, who have, like, maybe you have this relationship that you need to pay more attention to. Maybe you have kids that you have to look after, maybe you got so many priorities where you just can't afford to just sink all your free time into this game. So I'm like, hey, man, listen, like all you have to do is this, that and the third, and you're done.

Speaker 3:

Exactly.

Speaker 1:

I like the fact that I don't feel obligated to put money onto the game, I mean, unless you're trying to finish the storage where, in a way, the story kind of pulls you into like, oh, one more commission one more commission like one more chapter in that aspect. Yeah, I can see that. But once you're like dumb story wise, once you hit the wall, se it's all come down to dailies and you're done.

Speaker 3:

Exactly, and I'm one to take it easy with these type of games, because the story you know. Again, these stories are very simple, they're easy to follow. You can sit back on it and just enjoy it. I don't feel obligated to push through to get to the end of the story. I want to enjoy the story, I want to sit back, I want to relax, I want to hear the story, I want to know what's going on in the story and once I'm done with the story, I'll start with another one when I get around to it.

Speaker 3:

Now I want to fight. Now I want to kill things. Now I kill things. Now I want to kill things. Now I killed things. Now I'll go back to the story. I don't have Again, I don't feel obligated To be In the gotcha area Buying and buying and buying and buying and buying All of these different characters that in reality I don't need, because the main characters In themselves Billy, billy, when you build Billy so well, that man is a fucking menace. He takes the whole map just himself and he hits Dude. He hits so hard In fact, he doesn't give the opponent any time to rest.

Speaker 1:

Side comment Listen, I don't know if you watch. Have you watched Ed and Eddie before.

Speaker 3:

Ed and Eddie, you said yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I've watched Ed and Eddie before.

Speaker 1:

Stay with me. There was that one episode where they were talking about those Canadian squirt guns. You know they were like turkey basers it's the Canadian squirt gun episode and they got to the showdown between the eds and the cankers and double d had that uh machine gun going on. And then you're like, oh, I feel it, I feel the adrenaline, lady baby. And then that's how I felt when I played as billy, especially going like burst modes where, like you just shot for days, where, like you, just rapid shooting them from a distance, like that's what it felt like playing as billy do I like, yeah, just shoot him up with shit.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he made. Uh, he made like a gas and gun, uh, water gun, that you can crank it, and it went crazy on everybody yeah billy is a lot like that yeah, oh, I I fucking love billy and also his personality to where, like, he's like this hero at heart, to where, like you know, starlight on never die and whatnot.

Speaker 1:

Uh, he's like a big fan of the starlight nights and I kind of like that. Uh, honestly, there was this one post I saw on facebook to where they were like okay, if you needed help and you had to call on the cunning hairs, which one of them would you call on to help you out? I honestly say, billy, like nothing against the girls, but I feel like there's going to be like some stipulations. Like, maybe, if I was like a friend of theirs, they're like okay, you're a friend of mine, so I'll help you out, but if I'm not friends with them, it would be like, uh, I don't know what's in this for me, especially Nicole's, where I'm like, uh-uh, if I'm going to help you out, I need to be getting paid. So I'm like but what if I'm broke? I'm like well, that sounds like a you problem.

Speaker 1:

I'm like oh, so it's like that I'm like somebody help me and then I'm like no, no, no, a hero never abandons someone's need, so he would probably just Help me out at face value, like, hey, man, I just couldn't bear to See you Die in the home or become an ethereal soul. Here I am, so I appreciate that, billy.

Speaker 3:

What Billy reminds me of Is Deadpool from From Marvel vs Capcom.

Speaker 1:

It's a little bit, I mean not as crass, but like his energy in a way.

Speaker 3:

Well, yeah, I feel like they made him with the whole idea of like a combination of Deadpool with Dante and just make him into a robot. Puts him white hair and he's good to go.

Speaker 1:

You know what People are trying to ship in this game already and, honestly, my favorite ship so far is Grace and Billy, because I'm like, I can see it, I can see it.

Speaker 3:

I can't see it. I can't see it. I mean it's Grace is too dizzy, she's too serious, and Billy is lightheaded.

Speaker 1:

But no, that's just the thing it's like. Obviously it's a trap and also, you know, Grace loves machines and working on machines, so it's almost like one of those things where, oh, Billy needs a tune of it. Like, don't worry, babe, I got you.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, but I don't think, well, they haven't worked together yet, so I know, but like that's why, I think that's the point of it being a shift where like it doesn't have to be like very obvious that they're gonna be together, but I'm like it's one of those things where I can kind of see it, but for now it's like it doesn't have to be that way, but I can kind of see it.

Speaker 3:

Well, they're both weapons experts. Billy is known for his gun, kata and Grace is known for her electrical technological weapons and for her nail gun. So you know they would work well together. That is undoubtedly true. If they were to work together one day definitely it is a shift that would happen. I would not doubt it.

Speaker 1:

But once again it's like it don't have to be that way. That's once again. It's like one of those shifts that I came across where, honestly, that's another thing, like you know, things like Barry Till and my Hero Academia in recent times, where everybody got these, these ships and like who's going to get with who? And I'm like, honestly, at this point I don't really care for that, like I don't really care for a will, they won't they a whole lot because it's like, eh, you know, they can just be friends, like they just work well together. They get along. They don't have to like have something like become bored and friends per se, like not necessarily, because otherwise you just be able to play it out for me, in my opinion, but I don't know, I'm like they don't have to get together, but if they do get together, I'm like you know what, I'm not surprised.

Speaker 3:

It kind of makes sense to me and plus, in that line of work, having a partner would cost them way more than just being friends. Because then all of their lines of work, every single crew that exists, all of their line of work, it comes with a heavy cost and one wrong move and you went from having five to now having four, and now everyone is sad.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. And that's another thing where I'm like, okay, you have to get vaccines and you have to pretty much do their stories as they come. But it would be even better if it was like, okay, they just link together and kind of like an avengers type thing to where you know like all the proxy isn't helping me stuff and all that, and it's like avengers assemble and all the agents show up like, oh, hell yeah oh yeah, no, for real.

Speaker 3:

A lot of them are lucky to even be alive. If it wasn't for Broxy, if it wasn't for them because Broxy is not just one person, it's two people If it wasn't for Broxy, many of them would be dead by now.

Speaker 1:

Actually, the whole cat crew would be dead by now. Yeah, that's the thing. That's why they make bayton so legendary to where, like, bayton was like top dog until they got hacked. Well, they still top dog, but it's a little while like account why they have to start from scratch. But they still got the skill to help the Cunninghairs and whatnot. So people knew that they were capable of guiding agents through the hollow. So, oh yeah, definitely, like, without Wise and Bill, the Cunninghairs probably wouldn't be alive.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, no, definitely love it. You just got to this, this entire game. It's in me. In my opinion, if I were to rate this game anything, it's an 11 out of 10 yeah, tell us give it a 9.

Speaker 1:

You gave an 11. Honestly I would say like 9 too and I would say 11 as well, but but, like that would be like very generous. But oh damn, like you know what, I can't really think of a single flaw because, like you said, like that's the funny thing, you know, the game is good when you have a friend tell you, oh well, you know there's no bugs or glitches or whatever, hey, you know what, I didn't notice a damn bug or glitch in this game. Like, I guess that's how airtight this game is so far, like it's pretty strong in person so far.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, what I'm waiting on is Project Mugen, and I want to see how that shit's gonna go.

Speaker 1:

Oh, yeah, definitely.

Speaker 3:

Because so far, you know, with all the trailers and stuff and all the supposed gameplay that's coming out, um so far, like I think it's just gonna be another CZZ on crack.

Speaker 3:

But, it has yet to be seen. There's not a lot that's been let out just yet, so we'll see but definitely zen the zone zero for anyone who's like looking for a gacha game that you don't have to have to feel like you're spending money on it. You don't have to spend money on this game. In reality you don't. This game is extremely reporting on a lot of the things that this game can give you, so you can go from not having new characters to having new characters in your library in a matter of what 24 to 48 hours oh, uh, can we talk about how?

Speaker 1:

with the gacha system? Keep in mind that they have different banners, like we've mentioned this before, but bear with me With the signal search right, there's the exclusive channel, there's the W engine channel, there's the stable channel and the bamboo channel. Like bamboo, and the W engine channel Is self-explanatory With the exclusive channel. That's the limited banner with uh characters like ellen and ju yen uh. But then you have the stable channel to where you pretty much get like most of the characters that you can get in here. So what I like about this is that it tells you that, okay, in like an x amount of searches, you're likely to get an a rank or an s rank uh signal. But if you do like uh, what it says, 300 searches in the stable channel, you get to select the agent that you want for the most part.

Speaker 1:

So let's see what I got so far here. I think it's between Grace, rina, uh, poleda, nekomata, soldier11 and Lycan, so you can get those guys In the stable banner. And that's great too, because, uh, out of this bunch, the only one I got is Grace. So the rest of these are S? Tier. Yeah, the rest of these are S-Tiers. Yeah, the rest of these are S-Tiers, so uh.

Speaker 3:

I'm still missing Lycan, and I'm missing the police officer, uh Kolita, and the, the witch slave With the two bank booms. Oh, rina, yeah, yeah, um.

Speaker 1:

I'm missing. Those are the ones I'm missing so far the Witch Slave with the two banked doors.

Speaker 3:

Oh, Rina, yeah, yeah, I'm missing. Those are the ones that I'm missing so far. And again, this is all of them. I've pulled them. The other ones that I've pulled, I've pulled them just from playing the game and I didn't have to spend a cent on that. So far, Nothing.

Speaker 1:

I've spent nothing on the game. That's why I kind of like about this game to where it doesn't feel like like you said. You don't really feel like you're. You don't have to spend money on this game to get all the characters If you just like playing the game, eventually you'll get all the characters If you just get enough polychromes to get the tapes you need to roll for the characters that you want. So don't pressure yourself into sinking a whole bunch of money in there unless you're like OK, let's say, for instance, you buy a hundred dollars worth of polychromes. If anything, I would say that hundred dollars should be very calculated to a point to where, okay, you just pretty much have a stockpile of tapes. So when the character that you do want show up in the exclusive channel shows up, then you can just be like all right, I'm ready, I don't for tapes, I could just use my excess to roll for it. You know.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and it's simple. One of the things that my advice to any players, one of the things that I did, is I took some time and I looked up how the mechanics work, especially when it comes to, like, pulling the W engines. You don't need most of the blue and purples. You're going to eventually hit gold and when you start hitting the gold W engines, you don't need the rest of them and you can start pulling for the golden ones only, and then you start looking for, like for ice, the golden ones only, and then you start looking for like for ice, uh, electricity, um for void and so forth, and once you do all the others, like the discs, read what they do.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, put them together and take some time to get the materials and come back. Yes, the game doesn't really provide a whole lot of like battery for you to be able to like grind heavily.

Speaker 1:

You can probably do it maybe once or twice a day three if you're lucky, or three if you've been busy well, hold on, um, my battery charge is at 240 right now and if I, depending on the simulation that I do, like the last simulation I did where I was doing like for attack promotion, uh for zhiyan, so I can get her up, uh, that took 80 charge each, so that's four times.

Speaker 3:

You can do that one simulation but that's not including if you oh yeah, also you get a copy exactly plus the copy, which is 60 plus, they're going to give you some type of like papers. Those papers are used um, for if you want to extend the amount of the battery and you want to use them all at once, they can provide anywhere between 60 to 100 to 150 to 200 to 300. So you can probably do it up to even eight times if you're, if, again, if you've been busy, so if you've been like me who has like a fuck ton of those batteries just lying around I can.

Speaker 3:

I can go into the simulation and come out with everything that I need to level up all my characters, to give them their promotions, to give them their skills, to level up the w engine, to level up um, the discs, to level up literally anything I can. I can just level up whatever the hell I want, right, but it's only because I grinded. Granted, you don't have to grind that much In reality. You take one day, one day that you're not really doing anything, that you just go like okay, cool, my stitch is open, I don't have anything to do. I did everything that I needed to do for the whole day. The house is clean, the car is clean, clothes are washed, so you know what? I can sit back, I can relax and I can grind. Once you do do that grind and do all those missions, trust me when I say you're gonna get swamped with all of like, all of this treasure that the game is going to give you, because everything is treasure at that point right bruh, what can I say, man?

Speaker 1:

I there's a lot to this. Like there's so many layers, like it's not just about leveling up your agents, like you were saying, saitama. It's about, like you said, where you have your W engines, you have your skills, where you have to level up these skills and whatnot? Individually, you gotta level up your basic attacks, your dodge, your uh, assist, your specialist uh attacks, your ultimate uh with the equipment. Yeah, you have your w engine, but they also have like disc drives where, like you said, read them, um, so you can understand what they do and if they're right for the character that you have them for.

Speaker 1:

But, uh, mainly with w engines, I mainly go for the ones where, okay, I can tell that this is their w engine, like, say, for instance, nicole to where her uh specific w engine is, uh, what was it called the Bolt? Like, uh, or how Billy has the um Starlight one, uh, what was it called again, uh, starlight engine? Yeah, so essentially I just go for the ones where I'm like, okay, this is their matching engine, this is their special signature engine. So I'll get those other than that, like you said, really it comes down to like the black ones or the white ones maybe like the orange ones, but the others you don't really need those just yet I don't guarantee.

Speaker 3:

But one of the suggestions that I will also give to the uh, to the new players or the players that are currently playing and have been playing since day one, is I wouldn't fully suggest to fully level up certain engines if they're not the ones that, like you said, are the unique ones for the specific character. The specific character if it's one, but it's good for them because it also gives a perk for their type of ability, fine, you can level it up because they're gonna hit hard, but I wouldn't suggest to fully level it up because then if you happen to find, like the next class one, like one that I have, ellen's uh Shark W Engine, um, I have Ellen's Shark W engine. I fully leveled it up because I know for a fact that it's hers, but I had one before that helped with ice, but I only leveled it up halfway. She hit hard. I had the Shark engine, I pulled it and now everything that she does is just damage oh yeah it's better to just not fully go crazy on it.

Speaker 3:

And also the purple discs, the purple and the blues don't fully level them up halfway. Level them up so you can at least progress the game and be able to do a lot of damage. The skills Always level them up completely as high as you can, and the abilities as well. But when it comes to the equipment that the characters have, if it's not directly for them or if it's not gold, don't level it up, because then, if you level it up completely, you're not gonna have enough for when you actually get the next thing. Or if you're like me again, if you're constantly grinding, then yeah, you'll have more than enough, but then you know you grind it and you grind it and you grind it and then you're like. But I also like this one. Now what do I do? You grind it and you grind it and you grind it and then you're like.

Speaker 3:

But I also like this one. Now what do I do? Right, fuck, try another character. You switch to another character and all the characters hit R. It doesn't really like. It doesn't really matter which character is which, it really doesn't matter, they all hit like a fucking creature.

Speaker 1:

Right, Ah. With that being said, I don't think I have anything else to add on to the game. I pretty much said everything I wanted to say to where it's a great game.

Speaker 1:

I recommend it to just about anybody honestly like, especially if you like like anime, if you like, if you're already have experience with gacha games, you'll like this one, even if you've never played a gacha game before. It's still it'll be like the one gacha games where, yeah, uh, I would recommend this for beginners. So, with that being said, playboy, did you have anything you want to add on to all this before we?

Speaker 2:

close all this out? Not particular. I do know I need to catch up, because I don't know where the fuck the enemy is. Story-wise, though, it ain't like I'm spoiling anything, though it's just like damn. I don't know where the fuck I'm at with these characters. Story-wise, it ain't like I'm spoiling anything, though, it's just like damn. I don't like I ain't even got those characters, so I don't know too much about their fighting style and some of the lore, but I do like, um, you gotta pull both of them man but again, it's the.

Speaker 2:

I trust me I'd be a little stuck in just enjoying the graphics of the game, like some stuff. I don't know if I got 80 AD, but I'd just be sitting there just looking at some of the shit, man like. When it got to the cat part, I don't know why I was thinking that was significant.

Speaker 2:

I was sitting there fucking petting a cat for a good little minute. And sometimes I actually sit here and read I don't know if y'all do, but I have to sit here and read, like, um, some of the dialogues and the conversations that be going on because, you know, some of you may never know that it might be important. Yeah, it might be, because, like just pressing x and then finding out that some of this shit is immersive, like it asks you to pick a choice, you might fuck around and press essence, like pick something you didn't initially want to pick. You know what I'm saying, kind of, you know, get a different story.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if it changes the story or not or if any type of way. I'm pretty sure it kind of goes all the same. But I'm just that type of person who likes to be aware of those details and if I had the choice to make a change then I would. So, yeah, I definitely got a little bit of catching up to do different first years, so probably by next year this should be way more like ain't no telling what they're gonna bring out as far as characters and like different, like different missions, different factions or whatever. Right, I give it 8 out of 10.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, 8 out of 10 solid, very solid well, with that being said, uh Sight Thomas you have anything else you want to add on I am grooving buddy.

Speaker 3:

I'm pretty good right now okay, good, good, good.

Speaker 1:

Uh. Yeah, it's how it didn't make it back, um, but that's fine. He had things to do, so I appreciate him being on, I appreciate you, gentlemen, for being on, and I thank the ladies and gentlemen for listening to us until the end. Uh, remember that we are on facebook, uh, instagram, twitter. We're also gonna try to start a youtube channel next year. We got a lot of plans.

Speaker 1:

I'm getting even more serious about next year. Like I, I said that 2024 was gonna be our, but in a way, it's getting us close to where we really want to be, especially now that I'm learning new things and new skills and trying to get with everybody as far as what I have in mind for next year, because I really want to make things happen for real. So, with that being said, follow us on social media. Stay tuned for more episodes coming soon. We got a whole lot of episodes that I gotta knock out of the way.

Speaker 1:

I want to talk about first descendant. I want to talk about valorant. I want to talk about a whole bunch of other games that, not gonna lie, I've been slacking on the video game reviews, but we're going to fix that because, you know, with the fallout, uh tv adaptation and the borderlands movie adaptation those, those inspired me to get back into learning more about those games, playing those games and doing reviews on those. So until then, you stay nerdy, my friends, and remember that great things are coming. Have yourself a good morning, good afternoon and good evening, but, above all else, take it easy.

Speaker 3:

Take it easy, guys.
