Speaker 1:

What's good, nerds? It's time for the nerdy news once again with the Zone Podcast. With me today we have Koki Gatsu, Mira Jain, the love doctor himself, Professor Tuck, and Leia, and Lunaria is making another appearance on the podcast and, without further ado, let's go ahead and zone in on what we got here. Now, of course, go on. Blaze through the movies. The Deadpool and Wolverine trailers surpassed Spider-Man, no Way Home for the most viewed trailer of all time within 24 hours at 365 million views. The cast for the Fantastic Four has been announced Pedro Pascal will be Mr Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch and Yvonne Moss-Bockrock I hope I pronounced that name correctly as the thing. And well, it bombed at the box-wassers and, to barely anyone's surprise, A major theatrical chain insider revealed that buyers were reportedly refunding their Madame Web tickets on the movies open at night and you could actually watch advanced purchase sales decline in real-time as buyers were refunding their tickets. And Madame Web star Dakota Johnson said that the early version of the script was very different to the story that made it to the screen, but she didn't offer any specifics. In fact, I heard that so many actors thought, oh, it's gonna be part of the MCU and I'm like, how do we tell? And another bit of sad news there was some concept art for an animated Batman Beyond movie that had some animation similar to Spider-Verse was being released online, but the whole idea got scrapped for James Gunn to make way for this Jurassic Justice League. So instead of Batman Beyond we get Justice League with Dinosaurs.

Speaker 1:

The trailer for the live-action Borderlands movie has dropped. It is coming soon to theaters. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes has a new trailer out now. Inside Out 2 is premiering on June 14th and Moana, for some reason, is getting a sequel in November. That is all for movies. What's your gang? I am.

Speaker 3:

Pistol Go ahead. I don't want to start out strong, because I need everybody to understand Vanessa Kirby.

Speaker 1:

You really wanted Jessica Alba.

Speaker 3:

Yes, Jessica Alba was the perfect. She's just so perfect for the role. I don't know why we can't have Jessica Alba again. Does anybody know why?

Speaker 1:

I don't know.

Speaker 3:

So she didn't do the job.

Speaker 1:

I didn't say she didn't, but I'm like.

Speaker 2:

Age.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Think about the kids. What do? You mean, keep them on to this Look out.

Speaker 3:

She played the AT in the last 27.

Speaker 2:

Okay, but look, hold on, keep them on to this. Fantastic Four has been remade.

Speaker 3:

how many damn times now and they need to keep having her.

Speaker 2:

Okay, it's always going to be a thing Whenever you're remaking, you have to have a fresh new cast. That's the whole mindset. Is it a positive mindset? No, but it's the mindset that has you.

Speaker 1:

I want to say I'm not against Pedro Pesco as an actor. I like Pedro, the fact that we could have had John Krasinski, but yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

And the fact we could have had Jessica Alba again.

Speaker 4:

Okay, honey Okay, but I understand.

Speaker 2:

I mean, it's just a big thing about it. Let's be honest, a lot of superhero movies nowadays are really starting to fall off. Oh, that's a fact. That's a fact I'm not going to play. It was obvious that Deadpool that teaser was going to wind up outselling everything Because, for one, everybody loved the Deadpool movies. They made the movie Literally. The Deadpool movies and even the Deadpool video game were both made on an extremely low budget and still to this day has highest hell fan like highest hell fan rates.

Speaker 3:

And everybody loved Hugh.

Speaker 2:

Jackman, exactly, remember huge. Remember Wolverine is about to get is getting recast it. You know how many people was pissed off about that Recast it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's about you oh bro I know you like. Gary Potter is going to be the Wolverine.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, is that official.

Speaker 2:

What, no, no, that is.

Speaker 4:

That is right.

Speaker 1:

I know you're going to be Pat he had a freaking Potter.

Speaker 4:

What's wrong with Harry? What's wrong with Daniel? I'm listening. I was going to say right.

Speaker 6:

Cliff has actually quite a bit of range, Like he really does? I know he has range, Like I know he has range. He had the guns in his head. He had to do.

Speaker 3:

Wolverine and Harry Potter. Now, uh-uh, oh my God, that's my room.

Speaker 4:

That's my room. That's my room, that's my room that's my room.

Speaker 3:

That's my room. That's my room.

Speaker 2:

That's my room, that's my room, so I'm just going to say that he's actually beyond his gotten hairier. That's one big thing that a lot of people really associate. A lot of people associate Wolverine we're just going to leave it at that. He's also like in his recent movies he's had. He's toned himself for these movies that he's been in. And when I said he's toned himself, they literally when they showed it, people was like, oh, that has to be AI or that has to be this. And they're like no, that's actually a clip from the most recent movie he was in. And they were like that's literally him. He's that Jack now. Like he, literally his.

Speaker 4:

He's got sexier. He got sexier and sexier with age.

Speaker 2:

But keep in mind, onto this one Hugh Jackman had already announced that he was retiring the role after the. After his last Wolverine movie, he said that he was tired of it. He wanted to pass it on to somebody younger. That was his own words into it, literally that's why, it's such a big deal when it came out for the Deadpool movie.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

But when it came out the Deadpool, they literally was like we got to bring him out of retirement for this one movie we got to have that Deadpool vs Wolverine fight. We got to have it, we got to retire.

Speaker 1:

Wolverine, at least have to fight, please yeah.

Speaker 2:

As soon as he announced that retirement, they were like we need to get him on this movie. Then SAG, after Strike happened. And then there was like oh my gosh, yo. We really stood up.

Speaker 3:

Hey, hey, hey, apologize yeah.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying Now. He had to go look it up.

Speaker 3:

Why you got these tiny whitey's on Listen.

Speaker 4:

I'm pretty sure he's a man and some tiny whitey's.

Speaker 3:

He's got some different kind of tiny whitey's.

Speaker 1:

These are the seven year old tiny whitey's. No, no, no, walter Whitey, yeah. He look like.

Speaker 3:

Captain Underpin, I was playing that.

Speaker 2:

British humor is very different from American humor. British humor is very different from American humor, so just keep that in mind. So, as my wife my wife spent most of her life in Germany Once you understand, british humor is significantly different. So yeah, him wearing underwear with a comedy in America, you can be sitting here like, yeah, I don't know, that's not that funny. And a lot of British culture, that's high key of Larissa shit. So it's just what it is.

Speaker 3:

It could have gave my boy some boxer briefs or something.

Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying. You think about an American aspect? My guy, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Real quick, real quick, so we can just keep it moving forward because we do have quite a lot to cover. Madam Webb, I'm not surprised bombed, keep in mind onto it into this aspect is the fact that for first thing into it they had already announced that Madam Webb in this was it was supposed to be the introduction of how matter web became to be, and understanding into this aspect, if you're a comic book fan, there's a heavily complicated history into why, where Madam Webb came into be and how she's able to traverse through dimensions and shit like that. So it was hella complicated for them to be like, oh, we're going to put all this together in one movie. So people was already had low expectations because they're like there's no way that you're going to put what took about 12 to 15 issue comic issues into one movie. And it's still be good.

Speaker 2:

There was like there's no way that's going to be possible and unfortunately that was the true. It didn't happen. And then they also deterred from the comics I still haven't seen it, I'm only going based off what people have said and like they deterred from the story and then they tried to jam pack it all. What took literally what you could probably equiviate to being almost two seasons worth of live action movies, of live action shows, into one movie. That doesn't work.

Speaker 1:

I didn't watch it yet. I plan on watching it. But here's the thing At this point I already knew that, like okay, the reviews and all that, and you know no, like you got to watch it and form your own opinion about it. But at the same time it's more like at this point I don't really, I just want to see how bad it is.

Speaker 4:

Like okay people are saying it's bad.

Speaker 1:

Now it's two points where how bad, exactly like y'all, not really. At best, I'm getting like, okay, it's going to be like bland and the villain is uh, and then the plot lines and blah, blah, blah and I'm like, okay, okay. So basically it's like 2016 suicide squad Bad. That's the impression you're giving me.

Speaker 3:

No, no, I'm talking about Dragon Ball evolution.

Speaker 2:

Oh I did just say to the tear from the movie.

Speaker 3:

I walked out the movie theater man Dang. You want that.

Speaker 2:

I think the only movie I ever walked out on was the was Silent Hill 2. That Silent Hill 2 movie. I wanted my money back from that. I was the only movie ever walked out. Everything else after that I was like no, I'm going to wait to some reviews, I'm not going to go see shit on David.

Speaker 1:

I like how, with the trailers and whatnot, some of the fans were like, let's give the spider women a chance, and I'm like you don't know what you're going to do so.

Speaker 4:

One of the lines in the movie was that they could beat the three Spider-Man. That was one of the lines in the movie was that they could. That was supposed to be in the movie with. That was they. They were going to be able to beat the three Spider-Man you talking about the Marvels Hold on.

Speaker 1:

So you talking about B McGuire, holland and Garpbugh.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, no, no, no no, no, no, no, no, no no no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 2:

Madame Web is powerful enough to be able to beat Peter Parker in any iteration. I agree on to that one. Her two others no, no, no, no, no. Any type of comment book, even in animated TV show. And none of those lawyers are any of them ever strong enough to come up against Peter Parker or Miles, or even all of them. No, no, no, there's never been a thing of that. Madame Web, yes, but she's the only one, and that's because she literally has universal power. But the Madame Web, from what I'm understanding again, I haven't seen myself, I'm understanding in this movie she's not even that powerful yet.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so there's no way off of what would happen? If you were talking about like 90s, madame Web, yeah, I can see that, but not this. Ain't the one cookie, yeah.

Speaker 2:

But then also keeping my own to this too. Like Madame Web 90s, Madame Web, she hates the Spider-Man fighting against each other. She's always shows up to eliminate that conflict.

Speaker 1:

That's her whole thing. You know what we? Don't have any other words on Madame Web trying to.

Speaker 2:

No, because yeah, it's too much, it's on Borderlands, borderlands.

Speaker 5:

The advertising for Madame Web didn't do any favors either. I have seen one commercial consistently, and they don't even talk about the movie. They just talk about oh, we're going to do something new and never seen before, or it's realistic, it's like what, what?

Speaker 4:

about Spider-Man.

Speaker 5:

How realistic.

Speaker 1:

And oh, y'all saw that one post that I shared to the groups where it's like, okay, here's the numbers for all these Spider-Man movies and the ones with Spider-Man did really well, and one was that was Spider-Man, they're poor and it's like, oh damn, it's almost as if these movies don't work without Spider-Man in it, I still cast a recount from Venom.

Speaker 2:

I still cast a recount from Venom.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, venom came out from there.

Speaker 2:

It was decent it was good, like Venom and Venom. Let there be carnage because of like the DVDs.

Speaker 3:

The first one had everybody like I don't know, but till they watched it Right.

Speaker 2:

Once you watched it. People was like yo this is actually dope. Like yo, wait a second. I like this.

Speaker 3:

Like it was more than the first one, because everybody was like I know I'll wait to watch it.

Speaker 1:

But well, they mainly did it for carnage. But man, honestly I felt like the second one would have been better if we had more scenes when Cassidy had carnage and like running around in the selling city, yeah, shut up. And I was like if we had more scenes of that then I'm like, okay, it mumps up a little bit more on my book.

Speaker 2:

But, so now just real quick about Borderlands. So, understanding this aspect, that there is a lot of mixed reviews for Borderlands based on to the trailer and off of the, I want to say it's not concept art, I forgot what it's called the poster, the movie poster. That's what it's. A lot of people are very like mixed reviews into it because Borderlands is supposed to be unhinged and right now because we haven't even talked about. I don't know if anyone here has actually seen it yet. If y'all have, let me know. I still haven't watched it because I don't have peacock, but what is it the game that has Sweet Tooth, the clown Sweet Tooth in it?

Speaker 1:

Twist and Metal.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Twist and Metal. Right now that series is still going on on peacock, I think, if I'm correct, and it's like it's having kind of mixed moments into it because it's supposed to be unhinged and it's not as unhinged as it's supposed to be. So a lot of people are nervous, they're like.

Speaker 1:

You gotta understand that. We gotta make it safe for the audience you know, for these modern times.

Speaker 2:

Dude, when we're talking about our audience, it's a lot of us trying to handle this.

Speaker 4:

Good Lord.

Speaker 1:

Like man, I missed back in the 90s and 80s where it was like we weren't scared to be a little edgy with this shit. But I don't know what to talk about.

Speaker 2:

This is not what we at right now, so a lot of people are nervous because it doesn't feel like it's going to be lit. It doesn't feel like it's going to really be Borderlands. They're like I don't feel like it's going to really be that, like I don't know. You know what, you know what?

Speaker 1:

This might sound like blasphemy, but I'm almost glad that they decided to can the Batman Beyond movie, because think about it like this Because you know, batman Beyond gets a little edgy. You saw the TV series, it gets a little edgy. So it's almost like, and I don't think they're going to commit to what we were going for anyway, so here's the reason I can say that.

Speaker 2:

I only only thing I can say as far as a disagreement into this it is made. It was going to be made by the same animation studio that did across the spiderverse into the spiderverse. It doesn't. The concept art doesn't just look the same. It's made, it's going to be made by the same animation studio. This is one of the reasons that they're holding off right now onto across the spiderverse, because they were trying to also see if they can work on this as well too. That's what they wanted to do. I heavily agree that they would have actually gone there. They would have made it edgy because we got a chance to see what this is, that they can do. They're already shown. They have the skills to be able to do so. Now the writing is one other thing. We don't know too much about the writing.

Speaker 5:

You can make a beautiful, but a weak story is a weak story. This is true.

Speaker 2:

So his name, though All we know is that James Gunn rejected it. That's all that we know. He has not released a statement. He has not released anything on Twitter. He hasn't said anything other than he's rejected it and the fact that he's going for the Jurassic Justice League.

Speaker 4:

And I have no idea. It's interesting.

Speaker 2:

But the thing about it is it's the fact that why? Right, there's no reason, there's no explanation into it, so it could have been a writing issue. If that's the case, maybe not fully rejecting it, but hey, we're going to revisit it later when we know we have a script that we feel is going to be good or something like that. Okay, fine, that would make sense.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, because this is the thing.

Speaker 2:

James Gunn right now. His first DC animated films that he's working on right now is Crisis of Infinite Earths. I was nervous about this, me and Talos Gundam. We had made our opinion onto it before it came out because we were nervous, as this is going to be a continuation on Crisis on Two Earths or is it going to be a complete rewriting and the technicality is neither, because it still plays on multiverse theory, but it plays on other multiverses where Crisis on Two Earths has happened in a whole different timeline and we're not touching that. We're touching other timelines and stuff like that, so this is also going on elsewhere, type of shit. I'm like okay, got you, I'm fine with that. But Crisis on Infinite Earths, part one was fantastic and I was nervous with it being like okay, james Gunn is going to be heavily into this one. I'm nervous. Dc animated films have been fantastic. His live action is abrupt and now he's coming into animation. I'm like please don't ruin my DC animation movies.

Speaker 6:

I can just lately agree with you.

Speaker 1:

I remember there's one meme to where you know Spider-Man, one you know you try to chase after the dude responsible for Ben Parker's death and it's up. It was a meme to where, oh, james Gunn joined DC, and it was like give James Gunn a chance. Like, what about Zack Snyder? Did you give him a chance?

Speaker 2:

Wow, there's a lot, but no for real. So I was nervous onto it. But Crisis on Infinite Earths part one was fantastic. I'm waiting for part two. They just released a trailer out onto it, so I'm excited for part two to come out. I'm really curious to see how this story wraps up. So I'm I'm I would have been okay. So I'm like okay, maybe it might have been a writing issue, but the problem is is right now we have no information. All we know is you've rejected this, and people are like why did you reject a Batman Beyond movie? We've been asking for this since we were kids. Like, what are you doing? What is happening right now?

Speaker 4:

I wonder if it is because it could have been too edgy or too like. What if you you know how you made some good points that the writing could just be all.

Speaker 2:

It could be, but the best issue right now we have no information. And because he's making no information, we have a lot of speculation. Now the question is is the speculation going to be used for marketing purposes? Are they going to market off of this and then eventually release something like it later on in it be fantastic or something? Or is he going to fail into the marketing? I don't know.

Speaker 4:

No, it's your coward. Oh God, yes, Call out we see you Call out James, though. Yes, right.

Speaker 2:

But I did want to just quickly mention this um about the rest of the movies, because I know we're going to move on, but I think it's some other people might also have some stuff. So I'm just saying Ripley, uh, came on the planet. I'm actually pretty excited for it. We're finally getting an opportunity of putting this new, this new series that we've been following since 2006. I'm great, um, uh, since 2006 and we're finally tying it back into the original old school planet of the eighth movie, uh movie trilogy. So we're finally everything is now finally wrapping together and we're finally understanding how it is that, um, the plot twists that happened at the end of the first movie, the very old first movie, of how it is that they went out in space, came back and did not know that they actually came back to planet earth years by years later. We're understanding now how that time skip has officially happened and what happened and stuff. So we're finally getting to wrap up. So I'm really curious on how this goes.

Speaker 2:

All the other ones have been fantastic. Caesar is God amazing. Watching his story, development and all these movies to me has been fantastic and I would love if we wanted to bring a review on to it soon, at some point we'll see. But, like Caesar's been fantastic, on to it inside out, to inside out. One already amazing, fantastic inside two comes out on my birthday. That's me. It's like my own little personal birthday gift. I'm happy for that. I'm like, hey, what you want doing your birthday? They're gonna go see inside out to bro. I appreciate that. But yeah, and then Moana.

Speaker 2:

So look, there's a lot of different things going on from Moana right now. I I've read a bunch of articles but because of my internet issues, most of them have not been able to been shared properly. I thought they did, but they weren't. So there's two things to understand what's going on. Moana there was already a Moana sequel that they were working on, but Disney did not announce it and here's why Disney stopped working.

Speaker 2:

Also with Dwayne the Rock Johnson, when Dwayne the Rock Johnson had some issues that was going on with a bunch of his little public Speculations and things and everyone's talking about. Oh he's, he's really money greedy and he doesn't really work as well People as people say that he does, and stuff like that and it started becoming a big issue. That was happening to the point where even black Adam wasn't doing well. It just everything kept coming issues and then they started tying him with Oprah and they're like oh, they're just saying that the money's going here, but he's really not doing this. It started destroying him publicly. He was been he's been trying to save himself for a while.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, it wasn't you to have a live action Moana to try and clean up this image, or was that just?

Speaker 2:

yeah, that's what was happening. He was pushing for the live action, but the girl who was supposed to play Moana backed out. She says she no longer wants to do it in you at that moment. At the same, I think it was like within the same several days when she announced that she did not want to be in the live action anymore, was when Disney tried to save Moana by saying we're working on we're actually working on a sequel.

Speaker 2:

So they had already been working on to it, but they weren't going to announce anything yet because of the backlash that was happening from the rock and because of the fact that the Main actress backed out from the movie in mid-production, they had to say something. So then, that's when they announced that they're actually working on the sequel. So they had already been working on to it, but they had. They announced it only as a save. That even the problem is. That is no longer save anymore. It's causing problems.

Speaker 5:

Are they gonna have him in the new movie? Has he been confirmed or are they getting a voice double?

Speaker 2:

We have no.

Speaker 4:

He's been confirmed.

Speaker 6:

Do we know what the concept is gonna be for the sequel yet?

Speaker 5:

Yeah, I'm very curious where they're. I mean, what story is there? Yeah?

Speaker 2:

Actually have not checked into that one, so I'm not entirely sure what the concept is gonna be for the second one. To be honest with you, I'm mostly just been following the backlash that's been happening. I'm just like good lord.

Speaker 3:

From what I've read, it's gonna be them traveling and discovering, like new locations with long lost people.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

Okay so we get all these sequels and inside out to and Moana to, but what we really need is ready player to.

Speaker 4:

That's what.

Speaker 2:

Decided on Amazon and Netflix one or two. I was just looking at it recently. It's now available to watch for free without having to pay extra for it. I still haven't watched it yet, because it's.

Speaker 3:

Animate that you've been waiting to see. It feel like solo leveling.

Speaker 2:

Episode four Okay, but I want you to keep my own to this. Even right now, the most I can do is watch like three episodes and anime a day. Okay, that's like an hour and a half, and that's usually all the time I'm able to devote and watch it. Something personal.

Speaker 3:

It's a good one family movie.

Speaker 1:

Now you know what y'all reminded me of, how I was just thinking earlier this morning about how I'm gonna Do my normal ritual during the summer, to where I just rewatched one piece just for the hell of it. Now, listen, listen, oh no, no, listen. Here we are Then 10 episode, five hours a day. I will be done by the end of the summer.

Speaker 2:

You're gonna have never those. Do you skip filler or something like that?

Speaker 1:

Do you start skipping Like I'm no, oh, I Do not give anything, I'm doing the full ride.

Speaker 6:

One summer yes no, no, each episode today there's no.

Speaker 1:

I got doing again.

Speaker 4:

I feel so triggered right now and I don't know why.

Speaker 3:

No, you try to keep me out, jb.

Speaker 1:

No, I didn't.

Speaker 4:

I gave you the prank.

Speaker 2:

Yo, hold on, since we talk about television, obviously, since we got the lovely, since we got the two lovely people back on here again, obviously I'm ready to go ahead and talk about television, jb, if you want.

Speaker 6:

Okay, so according to Financing firm, there's how was it like? 94 days of summer, 94 days of summer, and if you watch 10 episodes of day at the current there, the current episode is 1,094. That's a hundred and nine point four days. You can't do that in one summer.

Speaker 3:

Oh.

Speaker 1:

Oh.

Speaker 3:

I'm gonna be straight with you. I'm looking on my country road. I'm on episode 46 wait, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. 56, my fall 56.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

I mean, I don't know, I'm on season season two, each blue, oh yeah.

Speaker 4:

I'm on the east blue. If you can get past the east blue, you'll be good. Just get past these blue.

Speaker 3:

It's so many ever. You have to watch it when I look, when I look and see like how many more seasons I got left.

Speaker 4:

No oh.

Speaker 1:

Okay, the normal thing I did because you know I would got working shit. But I can really do 24 episodes and that's like eight hours, eight to nine hours.

Speaker 4:

Here's the hack. What you do is you watch it at one and a half speeds. You can do it Whatever. Turn up to one and half speeds. It's how I made a thumb game of thrones. It works.

Speaker 2:

Why you gotta speed it up you saving off like seven minutes per episode.

Speaker 4:

If you want to catch up, just shave off a couple of minutes and make sure you're paying attention.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, go ahead, television go ahead.

Speaker 1:

All right Television. The pilot episode for has been hotel has reached a hundred million views on YouTube. First trailer for X-Men 97 has been released. The series set to premiere on Disney Plus in a few weeks. Season four of the boys premiered on June 16. Watching on Amazon Prime video Harry Potter's getting a television series set on max in 2026. The knuckles television show premieres on Paramount Plus on April 26. Megan the stallion is presenting at the Crunchyroll anime awards. I never bought before seen boondocks TV pilot surfaces after Two decades. Later, during black history month, black Butler's anime adaptation of his public school art premieres on April 13th. Frankie munez from Malcolm the middle he will make his NASCAR own debut in Daytona Drive. The number 35 forward and the official tales of the Phoenix mutant Ninja Turtles. Teaser trailer has been dropped and the show will premiere on Paramount Plus this summer. That is it for television. What's our guy? I?

Speaker 2:

I start off last time. Y'all go ahead I.

Speaker 3:

Thought I started off last time.

Speaker 4:

Oh my god, I'm excited for black Butler. I'm so yeah because Let me tell you about my baby daddy Sebastian.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's a bastard.

Speaker 4:

She'll Phantom have got the bet. He has the best Butler in the business, and Well, we can't forget grill, though, yeah.

Speaker 2:

No, you want to keep in mind that meme that they showed that Sebastian Grotto wound up having a child and that's that's who we got as the radio D.

Speaker 4:

Oh, I did not see that mean at all. That's hilarious, it's great. That would make so much sense actually, and I'm also excited for did y'all hear the look if you buck theme in the knuckles television show.

Speaker 3:

Everybody was happy. That's a that.

Speaker 2:

Repeat that no give you a break, your friend, like there's a whole bunch of people was like, hey, no, if you want to be official nuggles.

Speaker 4:

Is the black song like it's? It's?

Speaker 2:

well, yeah, it's, it's just.

Speaker 4:

You know, I just mean like it's just the song makes it even more.

Speaker 2:

The only thing that I'm nervous, you know, the only thing I'm nervous about is this I'm very nervous if it just decides to input His own music into the TV show.

Speaker 4:

No, no, we don't need that. We don't need that. We love him. Yeah, I just.

Speaker 2:

I want you to understand. Just imagine what episode is all of a sudden ball. See, yeah, I'm a big boss, I'm a boss.

Speaker 1:

Oh man, how you feeling? By the boy who lived in his own TV series.

Speaker 3:

Trash. I want to see a great Albus, brian Wolfrick, percival Dumbledore. I need somebody to play that role. Play the shit out of that role.

Speaker 1:

Hey man, listen, you know.

Speaker 3:

Oh my god, some greasy black hair. You can find any red, play wrong. Oh, he got hella.

Speaker 2:

Brothers of what if they had Tom Hiddleston playing on snake?

Speaker 6:

Name.

Speaker 4:

That plans, Well that does not work, wait. Somebody else that has not?

Speaker 1:

worked.

Speaker 3:

Horon. What did Ian Makellan add? Soaked.

Speaker 1:

No, ian Mikella.

Speaker 2:

No, you supposed to follow up with another good suggestion. What do you do?

Speaker 3:

That's perfect.

Speaker 2:

If you want to be honest. Here's the thing about it too. One of the things the fact that um and I never say her name, because, like I'm just be honest, I don't fully support her like that, but she had was I wanted things that she already had said before, that she was a little upset about in the movies and that fans were upset about was the fact that no character was accurately Was accurate to how they were portrayed in the book. Books Like I.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like height is different as well, too awesome characters, so it's like this is supposed to be more accurate to how they were supposed to look in the book. So, yeah, that's why even I can't suggest Tom Hiddleston, because snake apparently was more like blinky and had sharper features.

Speaker 3:

He didn't the movie, so actually, you know, lily was playing both of them for a little minute, true, so they both had to be kind of cute for her to be playing. I can't make a decision like no, even though we know she's gonna roll with James eventually.

Speaker 1:

But I would love to see.

Speaker 3:

I would love to see like a prequel, kind of like over the over the Demarders, like you know me, just suck. See James, I see series. I don't get fucked by Peter Pettigrew though.

Speaker 2:

The take and take to the fantastic beast ones are being the best prequel that we have so far, so yeah, I won't see remiss.

Speaker 3:

all them is young bruh, that'd be dope.

Speaker 2:

That'd be true, that'd be cool. I want to ask the real question. So how are you gonna be recording this Crunchyroll anime rewards with your baby mama being there?

Speaker 4:

I ain't gonna lie, I'm just about to ask that.

Speaker 3:

Look you know we're gonna be in Japan thuggin.

Speaker 4:

You know what I was gonna say some shit, but I ain't gonna do that. I know, you know look, look, meg is.

Speaker 3:

You know, everybody know, meg is a great old taco. She's an anime fan ever since she first came out. When she dressed up as total Rookie, everybody was like what? Nobody believes you like anime, until she started talking about anime.

Speaker 2:

I mean, it's true. I mean cuz you had to think about it. It was a nervous thing before he'd be like all became famous. But if I talk about anime people gonna look down on me at this point she's like. You know, I'm just gonna do it cuz I love it a whole album cover dressed up as total rookie.

Speaker 3:

Exactly that's what I knew and that's when I was watching my hero. I was on like a new season had just dropped. I don't remember, I think it was like season three. I was like, oh my god, that's why I knew that I must give her pregnant. This tree and climbing man.

Speaker 2:

And marriage. He has skipped dating and he only said I knew she.

Speaker 4:

Bear my child.

Speaker 3:

My dry voice. I did extensive research. I had to.

Speaker 2:

Where's to not a you? Definitely some broken ribs and bleeding internally, but no, like this is even funnier coming to fact that we said had my bad. I'm still working on to it but like the last review that me and took it just did. He was talking about my Simone Coons bitch, the boy talking about he gonna get everybody pray. He said I would got all them pregnant. Like he was missing ball. He fucked up around. That doesn't make it better. I purposely left that out. All right time to move on.

Speaker 2:

I have a couple things real quick and I have one thing that we didn't specifically mention but I didn't know if it was later on to document. But it does fit in the television. But still have always happy by has been hotel people finally seen the pilot, finally seen what it's for, because people were fucking around not realized that this was an adult show. Even so bad to the point. Cvr, the coming book Reservoir I forgot what it stands for had to release an article of ten ways that has been hotel is for adults. They literally had to release an article because the fact that that many people still was like, oh, this is a show for kids, no.

Speaker 5:

I'm so tired of the notion that animation means for children and it's like if that is your mindset, then have fun watching your five-year-old watch South Park.

Speaker 2:

That part your children with happy friends, family, family oh god, not happy tree friends, but yes. But X-Men 97 has released some controversy, has released some controversy Primarily for the same reason that we want to get controversy from the first space gym movie, a second space gym movie with Lola Bunny. So X-Men 97 they finally released the, the trailer and people got a chance to do comparisons. A lot of people upset that the animation style is much like Slicker, not is like much simpler, not slickers, actually much simpler than the original. Obviously the top is rolled.

Speaker 2:

Everybody's upset that they got rid of roles but because, like all, the characters in the night in back in 1997 Looked like actual comic book, came to life. What you read in the comic books was exactly what you saw on a TV show and unfortunately that's not the case now. It's much simpler animation style. But People are also still happy about the fact that instead of being a remake, it's a continuation From the original show. So we're finally gonna get a chance to close in some stuff. I'm happy that something that the characters I still do fit the characters. They didn't change costume styles. The only ones that wound up changing was that they did wind up giving storm the Mohawk again, because unfortunately storm with the Mohawk is the most famous storm, not the fact that she had a full head, full, glorious hair. So I'm still upset about that one. That's my biggest pee. For me I'm like why you have to give her the Mohawk, why black people still got to only have a Mohawk for you to recognize like I don't understand this.

Speaker 1:

Every time we're. Rpg a try and make a black character and they have like limited Square hair.

Speaker 2:

Right, brian, for real, literally to the point that right now people are praising. Was it for tonight? Yeah, hey. On the fact that those are only games that actually give proper hair styles, that show, oh, you can have black people with different hair styles. That's not just fucking locks home over the one side.

Speaker 3:

For tonight. Got no choice because they're stealing all the black people dance moves.

Speaker 1:

I mean let's be real. It's like I always said fortnight is fan service, battle royale pretty much yeah, and I'm good.

Speaker 2:

I'm excited for the boys coming out. I'm actually finally catching up on Gen V right now so that way I can be prepared for in season four the boys comes out. Because apparently you have to watch Gen V to Understand what's gonna happen in the next season of the boys. Like, okay, yeah, apparently they wanted up because Gen V originally was planned supposed to be just like, no spoilers. Okay, I'm still watching too, but no, no, it's like, oh so, like literally it used to be like a side story that they were doing, but apparently because of how the story that happens in Gen V actually affects the timeline of what's going on in the boys too. Because, remember, the boys now no longer follow follows the comics anymore. They've completely deteriorate. It's now their own original story.

Speaker 2:

So like in the bronze dude pretty much, but better. Oh, we're still waiting to see what the final season is gonna be.

Speaker 1:

So they were saying that season project really before season four came out.

Speaker 2:

Written out was no, no, not, it's not. But yeah, it's like because the storyline is supposed to be that good, like how Gen V ties in the season four and in season five is like we just know season five is gonna be fantastic, the writing for season four it looks wonderful, we're gonna watch it. So See how that kind of goes. Um.

Speaker 4:

That's an embarrassing.

Speaker 2:

Very embarrassing that you're supposed to give a good example of something else.

Speaker 1:

That was like Examples always make things worse. I'm always the problem.

Speaker 2:

So oh my gosh. No, you're not Okay. I haven't seen the new pilot, haven't seen like the pilot for the boondocks. I did actually get a chance to read in some of the original comics that were in, like the.

Speaker 4:

New.

Speaker 2:

York magazine yeah, the newspaper magazine stuff. So, like the mag, I was able to go ahead and look to some of those before. So I actually have not seen the new Pilots. I'm gonna go look into that one. Definitely do appreciate it. Black butler yes, waiting for public school. Young man, people don't know black butler is fan. I love that and I've seen it three times, yeah, three times. Even the technical false second season. I did like the second. I like that one too.

Speaker 1:

Let me on with you. I kind of like Claude, especially with how petty he was towards Sebastian, but fuck, always fuck that dude. Yeah, Okay he gives me job revised.

Speaker 3:

Oh.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, tails of tenage you need to turtles. I'm actually pretty excited since that because I haven't seen mutin mayhem, the new, the newest movie. I know my friend, my kids are excited, really want to get a chance to see it. It's just we ain't had the money to go do to go see it just yet. I got four kids. That's a lot to be taken to the movies, so for real. So that that's this thing in itself, but so I'm waiting on to it right now. We probably want to watch it at home at some point, but I'm pretty excited.

Speaker 2:

I love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. So far there, um, even some seasons that have wound up being kind of lackluster Wanda getting significantly better, like even the ones where they had the mystic weapons. That whole season Rise of the Teenage Mutant Turtles you could watch that on currently on Netflix. Even that one I hated Leo, but I like how they did the dynamic into that one where instead of Leo being the leader, ralph was the leader. So this is like what what happened in? Ralph actually was the leader of the Teenage Mutant Turtles instead of Leo, and it did kind of change up how the characters will be a little bit ralph, being more serious ones of being a much bigger thing, and so it's. I like how they did some of the stuff like at first I was nervous, but then they haven't failed so far, except for live actions, the old school, those were fantastic.

Speaker 1:

I forget the video games where they have, like you know, the very old one was that one for like, uh, super Nintendo was not the one that had the damn near impossible underwater level. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

That's different, that one love. That's the one level that was bad in that whole game, because it didn't make sense how it is that they're turtles and they had any struggle to breathe on the water. Also, let's just have hope for the last groaning to be good true, true, but I mean, the comments is fantastic, like I, I really hope, I'm pretty sure I'm really hopeful they do good, because the comics is Fucking fantastic, it's so.

Speaker 1:

Don't fuck with Mikey.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, leave Mikey to fuck along.

Speaker 2:

Especially consider that, like when he because we finally got chance to dive into, like the most recent comics that happened, um, the most recent release, the comments to finally dive into what happened Before he became the last Ronan, like when his brother, like what happened to the brothers and what it is that led because I'm trying Not to spoil this for y'all, but, um, it led him to actually being the last Ronan, like, literally it. We got a chance to dive into what, actually, how much time it took before he finally Reawakened himself to actually like, take up the mantle and also really dive further into how bad his PTSD really is as well. Also, so it's insane, fantastic, fantastic story writing. It is immensely dark and menacing, but it's one of those ones that it doesn't make you feel horrible, because one of those ones that it makes you want to keep persevering, because you see him keep doing it and you're like I can do this too, like, most definitely.

Speaker 2:

One last thing that wasn't written on the television that I had mentioned earlier. So avatar, the last airbender, has been released on Netflix. Um, is it good? So, I haven't seen it yet, but there's mixed reviews into this. Okay, and this is what I'm saying into this ass.

Speaker 2:

So the mixed reviews is that people who love the animated series we're pretty much us here People who have seen it that love the animated series says it is hot garbage people Everybody that's saying it, but it's the majority um, people who have not seen the animated series says it is fantastic, it is a great watch, it is enjoyable to watch. But this is the thing that kind of hits me, because this is one that I want to get information from my wife because she's been looking Into it, because she wasn't sure about watching it either after we found out the story writing changes and shit like that too. People who actually loved the movie that does not exist to us Say that they loved the live action show as well. That was my wife's biggest turnoff. She said if y'all like that, the absolute little sense and you say you like this, I don't need to watch it. That's been her mind if they spoke up uncle iron bro.

Speaker 3:

I swear to god.

Speaker 5:

Like I've heard free changes about the show that took away soccer sexism. They've made ang serious and I guess there is no war in bossing say.

Speaker 2:

Oh.

Speaker 5:

I mean, I'm not a fan of this one as a joke or not, but they said that they're going to get rid of the plotline.

Speaker 2:

Hold on, let me go through the real quick. It's a real quick list, okay. So yeah they took away soccer sexism because they were afraid of how that will come off against viewers. So instead of him having a storyline that develops him to becoming the leader, he's just already leader mode straight off the bat.

Speaker 3:

That's me.

Speaker 2:

Hold on. But yeah, no, that's the first thing. Katara no longer goes to war with the north, with the um, the north tribe leader, that whole fight sequence that happens for her, that killed, that shows her power development has been completely removed because they said they were moving all sexism. Saka does not fight. Saka no longer fights the um, the, the girls that that wound up putting him away, the Yoshi Yoshi warriors.

Speaker 2:

He knows that's been removed as well too, and it's not the play and does not go on adventures Because he has a vision that tells him he needs to go through, and everybody that said that they liked it has refused to answer this question. So if he has a vision and he says I'm gonna go, so I'm gonna go straight to um the fire lord, to fire lord ozai and go ahead and handle this myself. Why the fuck did he run away a hundred years ago? Nobody has my question on to that. So I'm like so you say a vision now tells him that he's gonna do this, but you can't explain why he ran away and how. That's so wise. Things are so different right now. That ruined it for me. On to that too, and unfortunately, unfortunately, sooko's development, where he winds up changing, where his whole storyline development, has been immensely shortened. He has, he quit he very quickly. Whoa is anger in the room. I'm honestly not surprised.

Speaker 3:

You trauma. The best change up. I was the best character development and animation history.

Speaker 2:

They have? Okay, all right, they remove his Bed of his development.

Speaker 5:

All right. So here's, like I know a lot of like the real world drama behind the original series. And, right off the bat, um, the head writer, slash producer of the original series is not part of the live action. One, correct, and the actual creators of avatar are kind of mediocre professionals at best and they have the primary creative control over the live action. And just to kind of set the stage about what the original creators idea for avatar was Ang was supposed to be ten, zuko was not supposed to exist, neither was iro supposed to exist. Toff was supposed to be the boulder.

Speaker 4:

Oh yeah, yeah, these are the guys in control of the live actions. Like the head writer in his book. They just don't care about the source material.

Speaker 5:

No, not really, it's like the head writer and his wife were the ones who said we need a more active antagonist. So they came up with Zuko. In order to have Zuko, they needed Iro. They said hey, instead of putting in a muscle head, what about a blind little girl? And the studio Nickelodeon said age Nickelodeon too, yep. So just anything good about the original series came from the head writer and his wife, and they're not part of this. In fact, the creators of Avatar don't like them anymore because they ship Zutara.

Speaker 5:

So, here's something to think about is the original creators were given the option of a fourth season, which the head writer had already plotted out, or live action movie.

Speaker 6:

And we all know where they went.

Speaker 2:

Yep, yep. So understand how we'll watch it at some point, because we obviously have to do a trash review on it at some point.

Speaker 1:

I mean we have to review the animated series this summer anyway, so we got to get to it at some point.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to do that the last possible second.

Speaker 2:

Put that way, your mind is completely fresh on the now and since.

Speaker 3:

Yes, Well, I don't even want to talk about it anymore. I got two things to talk about. First of all, kogasa. Did you talk anything about Malcolm in the middle?

Speaker 4:

No.

Speaker 3:

I'm at Frankie Munion, oh yeah.

Speaker 1:

He's joining on Nascar.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, now, that's what we know, malcolm in the middle was a good show. That's all I want to say. It was a great show. The boondocks was a great show.

Speaker 1:

Look, I got to go over there, you don't have to explain them.

Speaker 2:

We know that they're great shows.

Speaker 3:

Hey, one of my favorite shows we talked about how you felt about that other nonsense. One of my favorite shows ever ever is going to get a live action which is not included on the docket Magic school bus.

Speaker 4:

Magic school bus.

Speaker 3:

Hop on the magic school bus, miss Fritz.

Speaker 2:

I want you to understand the reason that I'm not as excited into it is because they've already remade Magic School Bus. Right now the new one is on Netflix. Me and my wife don't really like it because what it is is that literally, literally, miss Frizzle. She has left and her cousin is now the teacher, is now the new teacher. So Miss Frizzle retired. But here's the problem. This is where the issue comes into play Every now and again the cousin, because of the fact that some of the main characters like I forgot with the character's name, the red head one Like Ralphie and Arnold Ralphie.

Speaker 2:

What is Arnold?

Speaker 3:

No, it's.

Speaker 2:

Arnold. He has heavy separation anxiety, and so he has to keep calling Miss Frizzle all time because of the fact that he's still adjusting to the fact that Miss Frizzle retired, so Miss Frizzle retired, but the original kids are still in school.

Speaker 4:

Is that what you're in here? No, sense.

Speaker 5:

By the way, none of them look anything like their Mitchell character, because, it's the next year They've moved on to their next grade level All that happened in

Speaker 3:

a year.

Speaker 2:

They had to go up there too, but she decided to retire and then take her cousin, take over.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, she's going on. You're just getting used to the kids. They all spent the last year of her career.

Speaker 3:

They had a year of career. She said you know what I'm gonna do, whatever I want.

Speaker 4:

This sounds like abandonment issues.

Speaker 1:

Nothing but field trips, children.

Speaker 3:

Nothing but field trips. Let's go look at a booty hole.

Speaker 1:

No, let's go travel the galaxy.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, so no, that's actually the premise of the new show and I don't me and my wife absolutely don't like it. We're just like no, no, we just were on it. On this one, like straight up, like no, we have a separation anxiety. He calls her every episode because he struggles about going on. Literally, but she doesn't come back. You know she's about him accepting that she has retired and accepting the new teacher and moving on.

Speaker 3:

No, that's not what. No, At least they can't ruin drag until life. No, don't put that into the universe.

Speaker 4:

Please, I will beat you up. Do not put that into the universe. No, and they better not try to do things of the truth. Arguably that thing is on.

Speaker 3:

so lit, it's only one other thing. So I think it's more liquid and drag until steam song. What man come on Out of the box.

Speaker 2:

The outro Out of the box.

Speaker 3:

The outro. So long, my friend, goodbye.

Speaker 1:

Until we meet the art of themes on those exist.

Speaker 2:

What a wonderful day.

Speaker 5:

Little mini story. We're starting to see who grew up on PBS and who grew up on Disney.

Speaker 2:

I grew up on Arthur.

Speaker 4:

No, I'm more of a cartoon.

Speaker 3:

Franklin yeah, I've been there. I've been there. What?

Speaker 4:

about big Blair, the big.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, he was the first person talking to the moon and back, exactly, exactly.

Speaker 3:

And he always talked to us and gave and always kept sniffing us, which made me feel kind of weird until I had a pet dog and then I was like, oh, I think we already talked about we got to do the verses.

Speaker 2:

You supposed to be setting that up, man, Come on bro, hey, hey, nerdy court, nerdy court. We're at, look, nerdy court.

Speaker 3:

I'll be representing Disney. Thank you.

Speaker 1:

I don't know.

Speaker 3:

Speaking of which you can call me beat me if you want to reach me.

Speaker 2:

Speaking of which we had that tonight. So we'll be looking forward to that. But yeah, I'm ready to go ahead and move forward If you are JV anyone else is ready, anybody else, all right, you need to get to gaming.

Speaker 1:

So Stella blade is reported to be for adults only. It's the PS5 new action pack, hacking slash exclusive game. Well, apparently we have plenty of nudity and gore involved. Sonic and shit. Oh, I'm sure we have plenty of nudity and gore involved. Sonic and shadow generations come this year. Basically is going to be shadow going through like the 2D and the 3D levels you know, replaying his adventures. You know kind of like Sonic generation but for shadow and I thought it was kind of cool. Yeah, I might check it out, I might buy a copy. Spoilers for magic gather has been shown for his fallout set.

Speaker 1:

Fcc presents three Star Wars battlefront one and two are game poured it to current generation consoles. Digimon is getting crossed over with earth revival in Japan this year. So basically there's this game called earth survival and her revival. My back and, like you know, fighting aliens and whatnot is on game in Japan and there's going to have like 50 month. You know kind of with have cross-hole with some content or like Overwatch with some content, like one punch man for instance. Yeah, it's like one of those things to where basically it's gonna be Digimon versus aliens.

Speaker 1:

Spider-man 2 sells 10 million copies in 100 days. The game will be getting its next big update on March 7th and it will include the highly anticipated new game plus mode, alongside new suits and more. But POWER POWER sells 15 million copies on Steam and 10 million on Xbox. So yeah, like I know, some folks were like, oh, people are really liking Spider-Man 2, but they're saying like, oh, it should have sold more copies and whatnot. But I don't know, getting some reviews on that, but keeping it going.

Speaker 1:

Dragon Ball Fighter, z Fighter, excuse me gets per engine update and complete edition and one of the stables of the Dragon Ball Budokai Tent-Kite series local multiplayer, you know, with split screen Seemingly won't be a thing in Sparking Zero, which is a damn shame. Juju Suu Kaisen, curse class, sets a record for the most refunds in four days, reporting 100,000 refunds from players. Tomb Raider developers, crystal Dynamics, reveals that Lord Kross redesigned and the new Lord Kross will presumably debut in the next main line game, tomb Raider Next, which is currently being developed. That is it for gaming. Y'all got anything to add on to all that?

Speaker 2:

I'm excited for Stealer Blade. My only thing about it for me is the fact that I'm frustrated because of the fact that, with the that, plenty of games of gore games have nudity and gore into it now and, honestly, the developers for Stealer Blade, there's probably not even gonna be like actual nudity, to be honest with you. So the issue is this keep in mind that there is literal bouncing breast in all of the God of War games. All those games are rated like as far as rated team plus like rated like heavily up, but they're trying to slap an adult rating onto this game, even though, literally, there was more nudity and fucking gore in the God of War games. It's really I feel like there's more of an attack happening to this game on purpose and I feel like there's more to it than that, because why the hell is that you did not slap these slapping adult only rating to fucking God of War? There's a sec. There are sex minigames in damn near every God of War game, except for, like, the newest ones to 2018, but the original ones. They remastered those for the PS4 and PS5. Kids can still go online and buy them without an adult approval. So like it doesn't make sense to me on to that. I really feel like there's something more that's happening to this nonsense from you.

Speaker 2:

On that, I'm excited for Sonic and Shadow Generations. Nick and Shadow has been my favorite character in the Sonic franchise for ever. So, like telling me I'm finally able to play a Shadow in a 2D era game. Fuck, yes, monday I'm gonna be down for this because, remember, keep my, if I'm correct, shadow has never been in any 2D game. He's only been in 3D Through through. So, like hell, yeah, I'm about, I'm gonna play a Shadow Monday. I am excited as hell. Like that's my dude. Plus, on top of that, you know new Shadow. Like new Sonic 3 movie treat teaser being announced with Shadow the Hedgehog being on to it brown, and we finally got chance to see Shadow. Yes, I'm excited for that shit. Oh man, I don't play magic together.

Speaker 1:

It's the year of Shadow. Because not only because not only that is like remember, shadow was the MVP in Sonic Prime.

Speaker 2:

Exactly, exactly. You know that I love Shadow in every iteration, right straight up. I don't play magic together.

Speaker 1:

Oh, you're like Dr Strange, like I love you in every universe.

Speaker 2:

Star Wars Battlefront. I'm actually pretty excited having those coming to next gen. Battlefront has had some issues before, like Battlefront 1 was underrated, like it wanted to be a really good. Battlefront 2 had issues of microtransactions but they removed them and so then the game got a little bit better, but it still kind of like fell because of the fact of those microtransaction issues. So with them bringing them back to new gen consoles, as long as they keep them the exact same and don't try to sneakily reintroduce microtransactions again, I think it'll do fine. Digimon is underrated. No one talks about Digimon, no more. Everyone's like Pokemon, this Pokemon, that Pokemon, that man fuck that. Digimon was always fantastic, like Digimon always had like real-ass storylines. We need to talk about Digimon more.

Speaker 5:

Digimon had to make him out was like four years old and even back then I preferred Digimon over Pokemon.

Speaker 2:

Exactly same and they were supposed to be in competition with each other, so like hold on.

Speaker 1:

There's supposed to be like a Digimon online RPG being developed this year in Japan.

Speaker 2:

You want to know something? Digimon try. There's literally people don't know. There's a bunch of people in America that don't know about the Digimon try series. It is big in Japan when they when it was coming out Like those things are so big that they were released out in movie theaters like people went to go see this shit. But when it came to Japan it went straight. I mean, it came from Japan over to America, went straight to DVD only and it's some bullshit.

Speaker 2:

I'm like bro, it was so good like I. Just me and my wife found out about it one time just randomly going to Walmart one day we had to go pick up some stuff and I was like, hey, I want to go look at some new, look at some of the games over there, just to see maybe it might be some I want to buy. There was no games that I was interested in at the time, but I was looking at the movies. That was right across and I saw Digimon try and I'm like digimon try. I said what is this? So I picked it up and there is seven movies. It's a seven movie series and it's so fucking good, it's so good, it's so good.

Speaker 2:

It'sOWHARD wait. It's literally all of our original characters, not even just the like from the first three seasons. We have all of them, all of them. And it's so fucking good.

Speaker 4:

And tie it Matt like relationship, just to see how that's progressed and how they've actually became like super close and super brotherly.

Speaker 2:

How they became adults. Like they're adults. We finally get to see them grown up, like how do you feel? Like you watched them as kids and you was like oh, how would I be as a Digimon adventurer and like da da, da, da da as a Digimon tamer. And then you finally get to see them, they fucking adults now, like they are age. When I was watching some like holy shit, wait, I think when I watched I was like 20, 26. And I'm like they're 24, 25. I'm like they my age. Yo, wait a minute, what?

Speaker 4:

What.

Speaker 2:

I grew up with Harry Potter. I could have grown up with Digimon too, you telling me that you're a Digimon Like and then Mimi.

Speaker 4:

I love for giving me Mimi, Mimi's one of my favorites what? And just see, it was so good.

Speaker 2:

It really is. They got a chance and even some of them, like, are actually kind of like struggling to look. Some of them achieved their dreams, some of them didn't, they had to change up their dreams and some of them have families and it's like it's real. And I'm like yo, this is your favorite character has developed Like they are actually there, so Digimon, like Earth Revival. I'm pretty excited onto it. My biggest thing is, too, is that there's like we keep jumping. It's still kind of jumping back into, like the younger kids again. So it's like it's okay. But I guess for me, as being a little bit older now, I'm not as much into it as I was before, but I'm all into that.

Speaker 1:

To be fair, I say we can't forget that they did try to make a comeback with the Digimon reboot in 2020 and also Digimon Ghost Game, where my boy, trippy Vick, was telling me about it, to where, essentially, ghost Game was pretty good but I never got around to actually walk yet. This is why we're going to do a review on Digimon next month where we're just going to do a general discussion on it and then later on we'll just do like an extreme review to where we'll just talk about the different seasons.

Speaker 2:

Okay, but yeah. So it's like you know, it's just one of those things like Pokemon, like just bought America and then Digimon got pushed inside, so then we got Power World showing up. Now Pokemon is upset. They're like dang, I thought I got rid of my big competition and where did this shit come from?

Speaker 4:

Oh, I nuked those directly. Digimon Power World just seemed weird.

Speaker 2:

Power World. So here's the thing for me, onto it, the funniest thing in this aspect is that they it feels like Power World is the. Is the the Grand Theft Auto of Pokemon?

Speaker 4:

The comparison.

Speaker 5:

Do you know how many memes I've seen about the 69th Palamon Monster thing? Yeah, Scary.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And then also keep in mind. So, aside from the fact that Power World has Pokemon, has, like, not Pokemon has pals sorry, and we've talked about this before, we're literally everyone has mixed them up Outside. Xbox has talked about it, playstation Access has talked about is literally everybody Some of the biggest heavy hitters are mainly talking about this shit have been talking about it for a minute. So Power World selling 15 million is actually something that's under investigation right now. So Pokemon wound up having they had issues before, but they said they weren't going to push Power World. They started pushing Power World when Power World announced that they were, that they sold 15 million copies.

Speaker 2:

The issue that comes into play into this is the fact that there's speculation that they falsified those numbers, that there's like there's no way you sold 15 million. Because here's the thing they apparently sold 15 million within a week. That's what was said, and I was like that doesn't make sense. You had no advertisement. There was really no advertisement for Power World. It just dropped and all of a sudden, within a week, you sold 15 million copies and everybody's playing it. Yeah, I've seen the RDC world.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, since they became me out in the group again. I didn't do that. I'm good man, just cause Mr Terry gets me Mr Terry gets me.

Speaker 2:

JV's Pokemon and Professor Tug of Power World right now I didn't lose a point.

Speaker 3:

I'm not sure we're selling too many copies.

Speaker 5:

They ain't.

Speaker 3:

Pokemon, but they look eerily similar. And we ain't got no Pikachu, we got Weak-Tu.

Speaker 2:

We got Weak-Tu Right. What's the? Um, um did y'all see the?

Speaker 1:

um that movie with Eddie Murphy.

Speaker 3:

This is McDonald's, not McDonald's.

Speaker 4:

Oh, my god yeah.

Speaker 2:

But y'all saw the one that was like Me Too, copy and everything too. The one that looks like a um, the hyper version, the X version of Me Too, and you like, wait what? Yeah, yeah, um, but they keep copying Because it looks too close to it so they refuse to release it. But yeah, no, there's a bunch of speculation that comes into it.

Speaker 1:

No, no, no. I'm rolling over the fact that you can take these Palspias right and you can throw them at humans and enslave them.

Speaker 2:

You can enslave a human and do. There's a TikTok right now where, literally, they tried to do a rap battle between um, it was Ash and Charizard, and then some main, some main character from Power World and one of their pattern, like one that their, their, their elected buzz look alike, so keep in mind, onto that one. So they wanted to have them to rap battle onto that one. And so one of the Papal was due for Power World was losing and decided to pull out the GAC because Power World Pals used guns, for whatever reason.

Speaker 3:

So I know, I know I was out of the group. Do y'all talk about Spiderman?

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I actually what's the new game mode?

Speaker 2:

The new game, the new game plus.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, basically, like new suits, new skills.

Speaker 3:

All right, so I thought we're going to be online Spiderman. No, no.

Speaker 2:

So here's the thing about it Spiderman 2 secretly also released out incomplete as incomplete as well too. Again, we I know we've me and Talos, have talked about this on Nerdy News before where literally we've become so comfortable about games being released incomplete that we don't pay, no, nevermind to update some stuff. Most games already come with a new game plus. Welcome Spiderman 2. You see what I mean. There's some speculation that's actually been going on here, but we've become too comfortable with it right now that nobody talked about it. So it's like oh, it's a new game mode, oh, it's just new game plus.

Speaker 1:

No see anything that have DLC after its launch is incomplete, in my opinion, like the only way it's not incomplete to me if it's like a straight up expansion, like Final Fantasy 14, to where it's like, okay, you have Heaven's Ward, stormblood, Shadowbringers, endwalker, now Dawn's Rail, and I'm like, okay, to be fair, that's like an extension to the story. Fine, but I don't know Right.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, I agree with you. If it has a DLC, if it has an immediate update, that has to be released out on a day one. Like it's one thing to have a day one patch because you have online servers, but if it's a game you play offline and you have to release a day one patch immediately, why you don't do that? Like what the hell y'all doing? Y'all just released some shit out here and complete on purpose. We've become too comfortable with it. This happens all the time. Now there's no game that you can buy now that doesn't have a day one patch.

Speaker 6:

I mean yeah, I feel like for 80 years we're getting after

Speaker 1:

cyberpunk 2777.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, cyberpunk yeah.

Speaker 2:

What happened. That was crazy. It was too much, but yeah, so, honestly. So Dragon Ball fighters a lot of people have actually been. I've seen a lot of people on Twitter talking about this too. With the new current gen, with the complete edition coming out, some people are speculating that it's going to be completely overshadowed with Udokai 10kai cheat, with Sparking Zero. Let me not call it that, because this is not that, because I'm just going to go with 10k for a bucket.

Speaker 3:

For the best one.

Speaker 1:

Best iteration.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, sparking Zero. People have heavily complained about having local multiplayer, but they're like it really sucks in the fact that you have to only play online only, and that's another thing that me and Tyler's talked about. Aside from day one patches that come out on every single game that comes out, is the fact that most games don't want you playing locally. They want you playing online so you can keep control of what it is that you're doing.

Speaker 1:

Oh, 2020 was four years ago man.

Speaker 2:

This is making a difference, bro.

Speaker 3:

I need somebody to get their ass in my house with me.

Speaker 2:

I'll bring you to the house. Well, we can't do that. Like if they're going to be in the house with you, they have to have a separate console and just to be able to play with they can't play with you on the same console.

Speaker 3:

I actually don't mind that, but I would prefer to be on the same console.

Speaker 2:

All right, that's the thing. Yeah, it really sucks.

Speaker 1:

Oh, it's going to be like the old days where we have LAN party.

Speaker 3:

Yeah bro, I got an extra TV.

Speaker 5:

After watching machines screen and let's go.

Speaker 2:

But it's just a control sales, because PlayStation also has a oh, that's another thing, that also. It just came out yesterday, so, my bad, I forgot to send it to you, jb, so it's not on the list. As far as I'm saying, it's also to help control sales. Right now there is another, just like last year. Playstation is facing another lawsuit and unfortunately it's not in America, it's only in the UK Again. So, tuck, I know you was upset when I mentioned that last year. Yeah, but it's again.

Speaker 2:

Inflation is happening again. So inflation in America is such a common thing that the price gouging of video games is not a big thing here. It's just one of those things that just accept is like if you're not happy about a game price going up, just don't buy it. Versus, in UK they have a big laws against that. They're like no, you're not going to rip off the people, we're not doing that. So the price gouging that PlayStation Network has done, where they've increased the pricing of games or games that are a certain age and they still make them come out the same price is brand new. You know, it's been like four plus years. There's a lawsuit right now.

Speaker 2:

They hit him with that oil, right, but there is a lawsuit right now. You can find I've already shared it to our group. So if you guys do live in the UK and you follow us, first off, thank you all so much for following and listening to us. We greatly appreciate you guys. But secondly, definitely check out just recently shared it to the group and you can go ahead and fill out the paperwork onto it there To where you could be entitled to a $500 reimbursement based on to how much they've increased in pricing in the video games.

Speaker 1:

Hey, you can buy that. He inspired me that money.

Speaker 4:

So I live in the UK right now.

Speaker 2:

We're seeing it like they live in the raw country right now.

Speaker 3:

I really do want to live in the UK. It's the accent Ooh Ooh, oh my.

Speaker 2:

And I know they need to but no, hold on for a month or two.

Speaker 1:

Two things about PlayStation. First of all, I think it's kind of funny that they banned. I chose B over some bullshit, yeah. And two, the whole thing about the price gouging, to where we saw that one post to where, okay, publishers are thinking about taking it up to like $80 to $100 per game. And we were saying about how, oh, you highly underestimate how we have like hundreds, if not thousands, of games in our backlog and we can spend days, weeks, months, even years clearing that backlog and even then it'll be like, okay, we can always replay the games that we already got and the plethora of online games that we can play with our friends.

Speaker 1:

So I'm like we probably won't have to buy a game ever.

Speaker 2:

Here's your one flaw into this game and this is not for you specifically, jv, because you do something that me and Talos have been telling everybody to do Buy your games physically, yeah.

Speaker 4:

Absolutely.

Speaker 2:

Because PlayStation Network has done this. This actually happened to a guy that I know. This happened to him. There was an issue with PlayStation where, all of a sudden, he had PlayStation Plus. His card got hacked so he had to get a new card. He missed one payment in the subscription. It kicked back in error. The error that kicked back erased his PlayStation Plus subscription completely and because that was completely erased, every single digital game that he had downloaded on his console was locked immediately.

Speaker 3:

Oh my God, I would die. Oh my God, yeah, oh.

Speaker 6:

God, he's all the way. So the backlog of games if they're legal.

Speaker 2:

Yep, if you're back because you don't realize this, a lot of your digital games, a lot of them, require you to be on the internet to play. Yes, they do.

Speaker 4:

They require even if you're not online you have to have it.

Speaker 2:

That's it. A lot of them, a lot of them, so that's the most common thing into it. So most people don't realize that PlayStation started doing this back in 2018, where that's when they started making all of their games to where you have to be online to be able to play, and most people don't realize that it has to be like oh yeah, my PlayStation is connected to the internet. I'm not online, but it's connected to the internet, even if you're just like oh, I'm not available for anybody to request play with anything like that. You just have to be on the internet. You have to recognize that Wi-Fi signal or that landline signal if you want to plug it in hardly. If it cannot recognize that, it locks your game, it becomes an issue. So, literally, they've been doing that since 2018. So the problem is because right now, in 2024, remember we've reached the month now, that's by no longer sales physical games anymore and DVDs as well. They no longer have those anymore.

Speaker 1:

The way things are looking with current generation of consoles, to where they try to make consoles that don't even have this drive. So they're trying to push it to a point where you have to buy a digital.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, remember PS5? Yeah, they're trying to push it on other devices too. It's like do you know how hard it is to start to find a laptop that has a CD drive?

Speaker 2:

Do you know that? Also PlayStation, the PS5 was not the first time that PlayStation did that. No, so I found out. I have what's called a PlayStation. I have a PSP go. Most people in America don't even know that this thing exists because it wasn't sold in America like that. My brother was my brother still currently in the military, but he had served in Afghanistan for a little while. He bought it over there. It's a digital only PSP. Every game that's on there is only available digital. There's none whatsoever. Guess when the PSP go was made 2008. Yeah, oh, they've been pushing this stuff for a long time. They've been doing it for a long time.

Speaker 5:

They can control it and well price gouge you Exactly.

Speaker 2:

Keep in mind to Microsoft does it for the longest period of time. For the longest period of time Microsoft also had it to where you were able to have Word and PowerPoint for free, but unfortunately you have to pay a monthly subscription just to use Word in Excel.

Speaker 5:

Yes, you do, yes, you do. Why are you in an open office?

Speaker 2:

It's a problem.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I got open office too, though.

Speaker 5:

What's worse is it's also in the art world. It's like you can't buy a new Photoshop and get a CD. You have to have an online subscription to Photoshop in order to use it. You can't even access your own artwork without having an internet connection, which really is why I use a really old copy. I do I don't Like.

Speaker 2:

Here's the thing a lot of the slim designs. Most people don't realize that the slim designs is a chance of them pushing certain things into that. My PS3 Slim that's when I first realized that what PlayStation was doing. My PS3 Slim stopped working one day. It had an update that completely fried the system. It was apparently an on-purpose update. They did the digital purpose. If I had an original PS3, not the slim, I wouldn't have had this issue. But because I had the slim, I lost everything. So I was like you got to be kidding me. They did it specifically only to the slims. Ps3 had this update but only the three got shut down. So I was forced to buy a PS4 when I didn't have the money to if I wanted to play video games because I lost it. It was gone and it was like it really sucks. That stuff really does happen. Microsoft Red Ring of Death those things strategically happen all the time.

Speaker 4:

I was going to say don't tell me that, Don't tell me that.

Speaker 2:

It's a strategic thing, because keeping my arms to this, why is it? Microsoft makes all this different stuff, they make all these different equipments and if anything goes wrong, it's a simple hardware piece that you can replace and you can keep it running. You can have a Microsoft laptop back in 2012, right now, and it can still run up to Windows 10. It may not run Windows 11, but it can still run Windows 10. And Windows 10 is like significantly updated from way from way back then Someone's saying you can still do that right, and now, when it comes to 2011, for Microsoft 11, you have to have a more updated software for it For the play, for literally for all the Xbox consoles. Once you had the Red Ring of Death, your console is now an absolute paperweight, literally. It doesn't matter what you replace. If you replace the motherboard in that thing, it still pulls up a Red Ring. Once I have never been able to fix a, can I say something?

Speaker 5:

So I got a bit of a guest star here. My dad was in computer support for like what 30 years. Yeah nice and he's just he's over listening to us, so he has something to say on the Microsoft thing.

Speaker 6:

Yeah, Microsoft 10 has something like over 250 spyware pieces built into the operating system.

Speaker 4:

Wow, wow.

Speaker 2:

That's a lot you know, my brother's been telling my brother's actually actively in the well, no, he's actually retired military but he literally works with computer forensics and stuff and like, literally he's always been telling me to always watch out with Microsoft stuff. He's literally been telling me that for a long time and it's like I really wish I had listened to him before. God Almighty.

Speaker 3:

Let me tell you why Sony is the best PlayStation reign supreme.

Speaker 2:

Until they force you to update, until they force you to, they force the issue with your own and lock all your games. Just talking about it.

Speaker 3:

Look, as long as we get physical games, we ain't got nothing to worry about. True, oh what else is off the menu. It's a digital as long as you're still making digital games.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, what if?

Speaker 1:

they stop.

Speaker 2:

They plan to. They're supposed to stop this year. They were supposed to stop this year. Literally, a lot of people kept complaining. They wound up like pushing it out a little bit, but the original plan was this year. Literally, playstation said they were no longer making physical copy games anymore either. That's why the store shelves are getting off. That's why our game is running through big issues.

Speaker 3:

I'm about to get me a computer man. Nope, nope, I'm about to be a computer person now, ain't no way. Pc is life, you guys.

Speaker 4:

You just went from Sony is life to PC.

Speaker 3:

I'm tired of these grandpa.

Speaker 2:

So we've only got a few minutes left, but I know I just really want to mention this. One last thing in the gaming as well, too, I know we still talk about unfortunate is still more control and stuff Nintendo has released out, to where, if you have Nintendo plus expansion pack, where you could play like the old school games and stuff, they actually Microsoft has released a bunch of rare games, so literally battle toads and stuff like that it is now available to play on the Nintendo switch so you can actually download those and play them on switch. However, you have to have the Nintendo. You have to have Nintendo plus expansion pack subscription in order to be able to play them, because you have to have the expansion pack to be able to play the old school games. So keep that in mind and play Microsoft right now, because of the fact that sales has wound up dropping, people are speculating because of sales.

Speaker 2:

They haven't officially announced this, but because sales have wound up dropping on the series X and series S, they've actually released a lot of Microsoft exclusives are now available on PlayStation Network as well too. So games that used to be exclusive on Microsoft, like Halo and stuff yeah, the original Halo games are now available on the PlayStation Network. You can go and download them and buy them now.

Speaker 3:

I'm about to go buy them.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you go on. Let me check right now.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm about to download it.

Speaker 1:

I swear to God if I don't see Halo on the.

Speaker 2:

Halo was on the list.

Speaker 3:

That's the thing, Yo you should have been told me that.

Speaker 1:

I could already have downloaded Trick me. I don't see.

Speaker 3:

Halo on here, phony. This guy's a phony.

Speaker 2:

No, no, so yeah A big fat phony.

Speaker 1:

A big fat phony.

Speaker 2:

Halo games have been released out onto a Gears of War, so the titles are legacy to his legacy titles Gears of War, the Halo franchise. Those are now available. They say it will be the first games that's going to be available on PlayStation 5. Oh God.

Speaker 4:

Is anybody checking that was announced.

Speaker 2:

I'm on the business app right now.

Speaker 1:

No, he's not here. He's not here, Okay so it's coming?

Speaker 2:

My bad, but no, it's not new.

Speaker 4:

Okay, so coming.

Speaker 2:

No, it's been made official that they will be coming to PlayStation. You'll be able to download them on PlayStation 5. I thought it already came out, but it's supposed to be available.

Speaker 3:

Is they trying to merge or something?

Speaker 2:

No, it's not.

Speaker 1:

They were saying that Xbox has a lot of games. Like oh, I'm going a different direction, and blah, blah, blah, and I'm like oh no, I'm not going to be startled.

Speaker 2:

Every PlayStation exclusive that came out last year and so far as come out this year has sold fantastically. The only thing that wound up being somewhat the only thing that wound up selling for Xbox that wasn't available on PlayStation was Power World. But even then Power World sold more PC-wise than they did on Xbox.

Speaker 1:

Wait, hold on. What about Starfield, Starfield?

Speaker 2:

except the Starfield sales did not do well.

Speaker 3:

This don't have two things that don't have nothing to do with nothing. Who do you think would be the first people to come out with like full-dive tech? Would it be any of the known personnel, or would it be, like I don't know, Tony Stark or somebody? By Tony Stark I mean Elon Musk?

Speaker 2:

I mean, Elon's been working on a lot of stuff, so we don't see what he got going on, I don't know.

Speaker 4:

So we, I heard we think it would be Mark Zuckerberg.

Speaker 2:

Man fuck that.

Speaker 4:

I'm just saying.

Speaker 1:

I'm just saying I never trusted Mark since the social network movie.

Speaker 3:

To be honest, man Shout out to that movie bro.

Speaker 1:

How you gonna be a partner like that, Andrew. Andrew Gryffindor did that thing when he got mad at Mark.

Speaker 3:

I thought we was homies.

Speaker 1:

I'm not coming for 30%, I'm coming for everything.

Speaker 3:

Second thing that I had to have nothing to do with that. Do y'all recall PlayStation 1, a game called Ape Escape? Yes, oh, okay, I just wanted to make sure I would. I thought it was a freaking mad bad nation when I was trying to look.

Speaker 5:

I loved Ape Escape. These things actually played as a kid.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, actually, there's multiple games on them. You can still get Ape Escape right now. It's just another one of those things that's mostly Japan knows about, but it's not as big in America. I don't know why. I'm still upset about the fact that we need a bloody war to come back. Is this not?

Speaker 3:

happening. I'm really mad that I never beat it and I'm still mad about my horse that I lost in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Speaker 2:

We ain't gonna talk about that. Let me see Is there Ape Escape 4? Is it so? Apparently yes, but it's only known in Japan as Saru Get you 4. What else is it so? It's an upcoming game of Ape Escape, so you may have to actually search online to find it, because it may not come to America, unfortunately.

Speaker 3:

Japan get all the good stuff.

Speaker 2:

They do keep it. Look, you know how many Gundam games there are.

Speaker 3:

Did you know that? I know how many shows there is. Why.

Speaker 4:

Nothing but Gundam games, and I'm so tired. But here's the thing though.

Speaker 2:

You can't find no Gundam games here in America though you have to literally order them to have them shipped all the way from Japan and then get a special emulator to have it translated over if you want to understand what's going on, or just guess what the menu options say.

Speaker 4:

Literally, I have watched him guess what the menu options say, and then we'll sit there and then tell me that I have to guess what the menu options are saying Because I need to play and I'm like I'm not ordering this game, I'm not doing this. What he's got a good job, just so he could play more Gundam games. I'm like you have a problem.

Speaker 2:

Okay, JB, I realized you only have two things for music and I have nothing on to music whatsoever.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's a whole lot One of these video games, can I mention that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming out for 29 years.

Speaker 2:

I'm so excited for that.

Speaker 3:

Ew, Ew.

Speaker 4:

I still don't know what to say. How would you say that I don't?

Speaker 3:

know I just wanted to start some controversy. I'm also talking to the screen.

Speaker 4:

I am literally about to. Oh no, no, I'm excited to see Final Fantasy VII. I think we're getting Zack's backstory too.

Speaker 2:

I think that happens in the second installment. Yeah, there was some stuff that we were assumed that we were going to get in that we're not going to. I know that the original creator was actually nervous Yakomor was actually nervous about the fact of Rebirth coming out because of the fact that Final Fantasy VII is a remake like an actual remake of the original and a lot of people weren't expecting that.

Speaker 2:

They were expecting to get the exact same storyline. They were like no, this is completely different. So there was some nervousness when he was talking about Rebirth because he said there's a lot more that's changed from the original story than what was also changed in the original remake that came out. So he was nervous about how fans may take it, but he's still excited to release it and see what happens. So we're going to see how that kind of goes out, how that plays out, because I'm excited for it, no matter what.

Speaker 2:

Like I like the remake, I like the remake storyline. I like the change and the continual callbacks that they keep making to the original, where they're literally making a point of like this is not how the timeline is supposed to go and this is causing issues. This is causing a relapse in the timeline, like we're hitting multiverse in Final Fantasy now, but we've already had that before. If you played Dissidia, if you play any of the Dissidia games Dissidia and Dissidia XII then you already know that technically all of the Final Fantasy games are multiple timelines of a different thing. So that's one thing in itself.

Speaker 4:

I love that Aries doesn't get on my nerves as much. Not as much Aries got on my nerves. She was always dying in my party.

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, well, she died for real, so what's wrong with my dance? Yeah, just stay like that.

Speaker 4:

Shout out to.

Speaker 3:

Kingdom Hearts IV.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we still got some time onto that one that we have not released. We have not gotten any more information from Kingdom Hearts IV yet. Everything that we're getting right now is what fans are saying should be there or we're hoping for is going to be. They are keeping a very tight lip on Kingdom Hearts IV right now Of course. I'm playing Kingdom Hearts III right now. As we're doing this, what?

Speaker 5:

You're such a good person.

Speaker 2:

My kid. Look, I have a bunch of games and I only have a few games I can play with my kids. Okay, like my other option is to put on Bloodborne and my kids are 7, 5, and I'll take Kingdom Hearts III.

Speaker 4:

We'll take it.

Speaker 1:

Alright, let's keep it moving, because I kind of want to play Baldur's Gate III.

Speaker 3:

I got you and I'm playing a game too. Alright, come on, sure.

Speaker 1:

Let's go, Alright so if you're at Battles of History, you got a new track out Godzilla vs King Kong an Astrid.

Speaker 1:

Linky Public Rally Crush 40,. Live and Learn song will be featured in the Sonic movie coming up, but, according to the lead singer told Tails Channel on Facebook that Paramount secured the rights to use the song in the movie, but he and his band are not directly involved in the film's production, contrary to initial reports. So Paramount has yet to officially acknowledge that Live and Learn in the upcoming theatrical film, even though many fans heard a rendition at the tail end of last Friday at the title reveal.

Speaker 3:

You want to go through books too.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, apparently there's a Gen Z Bible where yeah, it's pretty lit.

Speaker 4:

It kind of hit me on a little bit.

Speaker 3:

Go ahead Tabe.

Speaker 1:

And the sequel to the 2017 Power Rangers movie has apparently potentially been revealed in the comics. I'm just going to go ahead and roll right into Miscellaneous. Moni did her thing on the Club Shay Shay review about a few weeks ago and we're going to do a discussion on that based on what she was saying. Nina Carano you remember her from playing Cara Dune from the Mandalorian. She got fired because of her controversial social media post and now, with the funding of Elon Musk, she's trying to sue Disney for wrongful termination.

Speaker 1:

For once, we got some science news. A black hole powered quasar that eats a sun a day has been discovered as the universe's brightest object. Science at Australian National University found a quasar which weighs in at 17 billion times the mass of our sun, which is 500 trillion times brighter, hiding in plain sight Interesting and, according to CBNC, former Disney Channel star and singer, bridget Menler, known for good luck Charlie was where we played the click and also lemonade mouth, has spent the past several years studying at the Massachusetts Institute of MIT for short and Harper Law School. She has now launched a new career in the space industry at CEO of the startup Northwood Space, based in El Segundo, california. Good for her. Good for her. That's about it for Mr Lanias books and music. Y'all got anything to add on to that.

Speaker 2:

I want to mention something. This is pretty funny. So when you mentioned as far as about the epic rap battles Godzilla vs King Kong so the funniest thing about that real life this only made me realize that we forgot to mention that the trailer for Godzilla Kong a new empire did drop.

Speaker 1:

No, no, no, I think you talked about that a little. That's much, yeah, I think, because you were on that one.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so I didn't get a chance to talk about it, so yeah, that was last month, yeah. So I think that's probably one of the biggest things, and so I'm excited for that one. So I didn't get to talk about it, but I'm not going to waste time on it. I don't really follow as much epic rap battles, but every rap battle is just trying to write right now, take advantage of everything that's popular. But I need to ask you, jb, because this is one that you put on here. Did you listen to that?

Speaker 1:

Not yet. I just thought it was interesting.

Speaker 2:

Okay, because I was going to ask you was it good? I'll take it out after my time I'll take it out.

Speaker 1:

You know, I just found it very funny that, okay, epic rap battles finally put something out, and it's kind of funny that they're doing this one Because they're in, that it makes sense. We're going to put this one out, considering, you know, godzilla, bruce, king Kong coming out and whatnot, gotcha.

Speaker 2:

But obviously I'm excited to have Live, and Learn, actually be in the Sonic 3 movie. Fucking love that song, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh absolutely love that song, but I do want, I do need them to get their royalties from that shit, bro. Like they secured the rights to it Okay, got you, but please pay them for that song, like that's going to be the biggest thing. A lot of people love that song that played the original Sonic Adventure games. Like, come on, now they need to make sure they get their money from that. But yeah, so I don't have nothing new as far as the music. I know Yonahs have talked last time about the Megan Thee Stallion, nicki Minaj, yeah.

Speaker 4:

We just write stuff.

Speaker 2:

I finally had a chance to listen to it. Oh my gosh, Mira Jane and.

Speaker 3:

Well, what happened?

Speaker 2:

We're not bringing it back up.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I was checking.

Speaker 1:

Get her off this way.

Speaker 4:

I'm not talking about the music.

Speaker 3:

You talking about Megan Stadion.

Speaker 4:

Oh, lord Nicki.

Speaker 2:

Minaj.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Long as you agree that you know Anyway.

Speaker 4:

I do want to mention Drake dropped Rich Baby Daddy with Sexy Red and SZA. The video just dropped Not just dropped, but it dropped about 10 days ago, I think.

Speaker 2:

The baby dropped too, the baby dropped during the video.

Speaker 4:

That's what I was going to say.

Speaker 2:

Congratulations.

Speaker 4:

Sexy Red. That actually legitimately happened.

Speaker 2:

So question, you know I want to be happy, or, but I did. Is the Drake League part of the album?

Speaker 3:

Probably I was watching I don't know what I was watching. I think I was watching on my podcast and there was a reading like crazy comments and it said I can go meet for me with Drake on my best day. I was like bro, who is these people coming up with these comments?

Speaker 4:

I'm not going to lie to you, I didn't, I didn't want. But my friend all of my girlfriends called me and was like did you see it? What did you go? And I'm just like see what? And then like, don't worry, I'll scream, I'll just walk out.

Speaker 2:

I want you to understand when they literally said it was a leak, because everybody thought it was going to be this album. Everybody thought that this was what it was going to be, and they wanted to not be in that.

Speaker 4:

And then the album drops like a week later, like and then I also want to shout out killer Mike want to Grammy and at the same on the same day.

Speaker 3:

He won three. He swept the Grammys. He won three best rap album, best rap album for show.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, absolutely, it was amazing.

Speaker 3:

He got arrested for no reason too. They dropped the charges.

Speaker 1:

Oh, so he basically got on some Cat Williams type shit Like oh, you know what's crazy.

Speaker 3:

Did y'all hear Jay Z speech? Yes, yes.

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 3:

What's crazy is Jay Z told killer Mike, like he didn't plan on doing a speech, he was going to take his time and give it to the killer Mike. So killer Mike can be live on TV because he won three Grammys and they they didn't have him live, they just gave him off camera.

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely nonsense.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely nonsense, that's the word we live in. No, I can't wait to see killer Mike on club stage.

Speaker 3:

They were scared.

Speaker 2:

True, but because if we see, I haven't seen my Nico club club stage, so I don't even know about that one.

Speaker 4:

But it's good. It wasn't that controversial. It was good, though, yeah.

Speaker 3:

I mean, what was controversial was her son, who came out with some tic-tac mess.

Speaker 1:

Oh they've been back and forth.

Speaker 2:

I thought, I was supposed to be like her calling out, calling out Oprah, and no, that's what she did.

Speaker 1:

But then after that her son just kind of hit the bomb from behind, you know okay.

Speaker 4:

I know we're going to talk about it later, but I do want to commend her for the way she she tackled that on the episode, and then I don't really understand why her son came out.

Speaker 2:

Just because he was responding. He just wanted to try to say like that he exists. No, he was responding though that's why literally.

Speaker 3:

Then she responded to his response like calling him out, telling me he got mental health issues. Don't listen to him. Like what they need to play their family drama and have a meeting because it's like Mike F, all over again and say some shit about me too.

Speaker 4:

But with that, he was going to pull up on my good oh yeah, speaking of which he got a new special coming out like this week, I think, coming up yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah it's on Netflix. It's going to be on Netflix.

Speaker 2:

Okay, okay. So I'm going to talk about these last two. I know I got to get off real soon, so these last few things real quick. Elon Musk just won't start some trouble because he's been having issues with the house of mouse forever and he found an opportunity in order to do so by saying you know what? Because he's been on genocide since she got fired. He's literally been on her side being like it's the social media, they all just taken it too seriously. She already had apologized and it was, and already it's just people can have the freedom to say what they want to say on my platform and stuff, because he didn't try to call his platform thing and like just became a hope, yeah, became a whole big thing. So realistically, he's already been having a whole thing on to it Money.

Speaker 3:

Money.

Speaker 2:

He just want to know. Maybe mama she got no kids as he is. But he just want to know.

Speaker 3:

Money versus money. But you know what? Y'all got too much money. Let me throw some money at y'all so y'all can stop having money.

Speaker 2:

This on fighting court for years. Fighting court for years. So literally like that's just all it is, onto that one. To be honest with you Now, this Gen Z Bible, this one right here, I can't get over the ops of ops Pulling up. That was like what is happening right now.

Speaker 4:

What is happening right now?

Speaker 5:

Oh God, I was like what? I have the Lord's prayer right now in front of me from the Gen Z Bible. If y'all would like to hear it.

Speaker 1:

Oh God.

Speaker 3:

Please please, please that gospel.

Speaker 5:

As it was written in the Gen Z Bible Well, zaddy, in heaven, you holy, your kingdom is coming, and if you ask us to do stuff, we'll say yes. On earth and in heaven, y'all, y'all will say Y'all. Let's get this bread and squash some beef with people we've clowned on, and we squash beef with those who clowned on us, please don't get us and please help us cancel all evil.

Speaker 2:

Why does it sound like it's about to call something?

Speaker 3:

No, no, no. Let me pull up on, Let me try to say hey, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I got. I got Genesis one for y'all, Okay.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

In the beginning, before Netflix, until before beams and emojis, God was like let's make a universe a big banging. One Day one, God said let there be light. And bam, light was lit. No more dark mode. Day two God was feeling artsy. He separated this guy and water like a propane or doing a masterpiece. No, no art. Day three God was into landscaping. Let's have some land and seeds. And oh, let's throw in some plants and trees, Greenery, vibes. You know they. Poor God was like time for a celestial show. He lost the sun and moon into the sky, creating the ultimate cosmic drama. Day five God was all about the aquatic life Fish, birds and sea creatures. Let's make a splash. Day six God got real creative. Let's whip up some land, animals. And oh, how about we make humans in our image? Cool project ever. Day seven God kicked back, put on heavenly tunes and declared Jode creation complete.

Speaker 4:

And then, and then we rest. I'm just going to do an audio book of this.

Speaker 5:

Oh my God, this is so bad.

Speaker 3:

You know, God took his time when he created Anabase. You know what I mean. Oh my God.

Speaker 2:

Oh God no.

Speaker 3:

Let me hear you.

Speaker 2:

I'm over. I can't with y'all. I'm over my time. Hold on a second Look.

Speaker 1:

Mary was a big girl for God and was sent in for him in prayer when the angel Gabriel appeared to her and said hey, yo, you're a real one. And the top teeth.

Speaker 3:

I wonder what it's about. Joseph was talking about this. Ain't my bag.

Speaker 1:

It was low key and he gave him the sideline. So he said, baby girl, show, god sent me to tell you that you passed his Bible check.

Speaker 4:

And Mary promised that her body count will always be zero. But let's tell this ain't about cut the seeds of the whole spirit.

Speaker 1:

Oh my.

Speaker 3:

God Amen.

Speaker 4:

Amen.

Speaker 3:

Hey, you haven't heard that. That, that, that, that came with y'all oh my God, I'm going to send one in the group check.

Speaker 2:

Y'all for real, let me hurry. So the sequel to the Power Rangers movie is potentially into it. So apparently they have been working on it, on a Power Rangers sequel from the from the late, from the latest movie that came out back in 2017. And the thing about it is is the fact that, like there's, most people did not know that there was a comic that came out after that. So a lot of people didn't realize, they didn't know about it until they announced, until it was officially announced, that they actually were working on a Power Rangers sequel and that it had been in development. There just had been some delays, but they're picking it back up again.

Speaker 2:

So now that we got an official that they are working on a sequel, that's when people started looking into what potentials may be, and then that's when it finally came to light that there actually was a comic that came out after they came out, like a month after the movie came out. But most people never read the, never read the comic. So I don't want to spoil it for you guys, but it just in general, in general aspect, it picks up literally right after the final battle. Like you know how we watch Power Rangers as far every time we watch the movies not movies but the original TV show, how they always the fight randomly just started off in the city, but then all of a sudden, when the Megazord showed up, they all of a sudden are now in like a desert plane.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah sometimes it's a desert plane, sometimes it's like actually in the city or more like like on the off, on the outskirts of the city, you know right and then like even though they crash into buildings, you never see these broken down buildings or nothing like that.

Speaker 2:

So, this literally takes place right after, like, the whole city is completely decimated after the giant robot battle and everything. People are actually homeless and having to sleep in tents. But there's some other supervillains that are there. The putties are still there and they're still like attacking people while they're home, while they're like homeless and stuff, and so the Power Rangers are pretty much working around the clock protecting these people, while these other supervillains are concocting a plan in order to destroy the Power Rangers. And that's kind of essentially what the book is about, but I'm not going to spoil it much for you guys of what the villains are.

Speaker 2:

I would encourage you to go read the comic.

Speaker 2:

It actually is pretty entertaining from some of the panels I've seen, so kind of see what happens and then, of course, like I love science, so first off into it.

Speaker 2:

As far as the black, the black coal powered quasar was very interesting to see in the fact that they said that this is pretty much been in plain sight in our eyes all the time and we never noticed it, like it's actually always been there, but there's not a full explanation of why we can't see it, but it's believed based upon like frequencies and stuff like that, that maybe because of like with how fast light travels is that we're only catching it now but it's always been there, type of thing.

Speaker 2:

So it's pretty interesting if you really love science, you really into those things, really into space and what the phenomenons that happen out in outer space and know what potential could happen to earth, or even just curious to see what happens. It's just kind of pretty interesting in that Also. So a lot of people really started sleeping on Bridget Mindler and one of the biggest things about it is because Disney has a curse where a lot of their actors and actresses wound up getting caught up on drugs, getting caught up in all different types of drama always had like such horrible things happen because Disney and, unfortunately, nickelodeon kind of had a thing that they wound up like employing a light of people who got Frank, who was a not even going to say frame but accused of bookbanzers, you know what.

Speaker 2:

Or child pornography and some form of that.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm really glad that ladies like Hillary Duff and Selena Gomez was able to dodge later Right, oh, no, really.

Speaker 4:

She did have a severe bleeding disorder. Hillary Duff. Yeah, yeah, she was extremely in a rexia she's not a baby mama now. She's not a baby mama, but she could be a side piece.

Speaker 3:

Oh my gosh. Oh, I understand, I respect that.

Speaker 2:

It's one of those things that we're happy about the fact that Bridget was able to like get past all of that even with some of the stuff that she wound up dealing with as well while working for Disney that she was still able to pursue and actually like move forward and was not weighed down by all these different predators that were employed by Nickelodeon and Disney and stuff. So it's pretty awesome that she was able to be able to move forward. And now people are really giving her that limelight of like, hey, she's moved on, she's back in school, she's doing her thing, you know, she's finishing up with MIT and in Harvard and she's now has her own career going. It's a fantastic thing. That's like hey, this is someone who was able to move forward.

Speaker 2:

Even though she didn't further her acting, her actress career, she still moved forward for life. She used her money properly. Her parents helped her out, making sure that the money was used properly and she was able to actually progress in her life and do what it is that she wanted to do. So pretty awesome. And I just really wanted to take that time to be like that's fantastic that she was not able to, that she was not caught up in all the melodrama that happened to so many of these other child stars, because Hollywood can really ruin people if you really don't know what you're doing.

Speaker 5:

I would feel like the kids that come on top from Hollywood are the ones who have really active parents.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, like very protective.

Speaker 1:

I mean, you know, the nuclear family dynamic makes sense to me.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I got it, we'll have it.

Speaker 1:

Anything else on, like anything else that add on to the miscellaneous.

Speaker 2:

I have nothing.

Speaker 1:

I think that's all right, so let's go ahead and close this one out. Then we got some zone developments. While our website is still under construction, we're still trying to add apparel. As a loyalty reward for Patreon subscribers, I got a new 3D printer, the El Guz Saturn 3 Ultra, and new resin prints are coming soon and we will have multiple reviews released this month. Some of them are already out, like has been on tell static shot undercover brother. So a whole bunch of them out now and some of them going to be on Patreon exclusive for Patreon subscribers, like some of the stuff that got in the worst, like Game of Thrones and fairy tales where, okay, once we finish the extreme review on those, they will release them out publicly.

Speaker 1:

So if you're a patron subscriber you get to see the parts of the review before anyone else. So that's pretty much what we got going on. And before we close this out, we got one more new section of the nerdy news. We're doing recommendations now. Anybody got any recommendations for movies, books, tv shows, video games? Any recommendation I want to give to the people?

Speaker 2:

I don't have anything this time.

Speaker 1:

I'm just getting into anime.

Speaker 3:

I can always recommend the Midnight series. It actually is very thought provoking and it changed a lot of aspects of the way of thinking for me. So the Midnight series by sister soldier it's a trilogy book. Just take that out when you get the opportunity.

Speaker 4:

That is not okay.

Speaker 3:

What, what? It's very thought provoking.

Speaker 2:

Did you read it? How about Poo-dee-tang? Since you know Tuck want to be goofy, I'll be goofy too, Poo-dee-tang.

Speaker 3:

I'm not being goofy, it's a great trilogy Midnight against the love story, midnight A Deep Love Within, and then Midnight. I think we'll see them in that last one. I don't remember. I read it though. It's a thought provoking.

Speaker 1:

I guess in the honor of its movie release the Wicked books.

Speaker 5:

Okay, okay. What's it talking about? They're actually really good. They use some more higher caliber vocabulary, but it's still really good.

Speaker 2:

Well, if we keep it light, disney did actually release some pretty good books that surprisingly never turned into TV shows, which I'm pretty shocked about. Some book series I read a long time ago was called Shadow Magic. There's three books into it that have Shadow Magic, fire Magic and Dream Magic and it has like a whole big storyline about people who have different families, have different type of magical powers and they live in different parts of their world. And the Shadow Magic, the people who use Shadow Magic, are looked down upon because they use dark magic and stuff like that. People look down upon them because they're like oh, you're necromancers and things like that. But they actually use their power for good, like if you so, if someone so loved one died and you never got a chance to have closing remarks, they give you an opportunity to actually talk to them and be able to be like, have your closure before they wind up leaving and stuff, and so they use their dark magic for good, but people just think of it bad and stuff.

Speaker 1:

Alright, I'm going to go ahead and close this up, but as far as recommendations, you know what? I'm just going to go ahead and recommend some things that we're planning on reviewing next month. Anyways, in March we are going to be reviewing Digimon Brugrats, blue Lock. We're going to continue the Hunter Hunter review. We're going to do Black Clover. Hopefully I'm going to do a review on Magic the Gathering with Sight, thomas Smash and OG Sunny.

Speaker 1:

Air Year I will recommend, highly recommend Air Year, especially the manga. Please read the manga Tengou Tenge. It turns 20 in April 1st, but we'll try to review that like a week ahead so we'll get the episode out in time. Looney Tunes we are going to be reviewing that, like you know, like the Lunatics and Tiny Twin Adventures and whatnot, and we got some nerdy court dates going on and about two, maybe three and no four. Yeah, three, three, three, my bad Three nerdy court dates. With that being said, that's all we got. Remember to stay nerdy, my friends, and keep in mind that great things are coming. We are zoning out so sick, easy breaking news nerds.

Speaker 1:

Right before I was gonna go ahead and edit all this stuff to be uploaded online, it was Pokemon day and Pokemon presents did some things like I know some things that was kind of interesting, like not whole lot, but there was one thing in particular and I'll get to it with starters. Let's go with Pokemon trading card game pocket. Essentially, with that one you let these digital cars and compete in these quick battles, streamlined rules, this way of enjoying the card game with your phone, and I'm like that's gonna happen in somewhere this year on your phone. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's gonna have some new terror raids with the original Kanto on. Okay, join us now what's up?

Speaker 1:

talk yeah.

Speaker 1:

I just came in just in time we're doing on news. Now I was telling them about Pokemon's where, since we there's probably a mobile app to where you can use the trading card game on there, pokemon sleep was set up essentially, you get this legendary Pokemon will be arriving, pokemon sleep, it's gonna be a Raikou and it's gonna be on March 2024. I don't, I don't really care for Pokemon sleep, but I guess, if you are into them, pokemon Unite got three new characters Mirai on fowlings and Sirulage, like. See, I played Pokemon Violet, I got Mirai and I prefer Mirai to honestly and I do like Sirulage honestly. Sirulage reminds me of all Mega man, like you know, mega man and Protoman, and Sirulage was the cooler design and I'm kind of glad that that Pokemon's being added on to Pokemon Unite. I played Pokemon Unite every now and then, but nowadays not so much. I've been playing other things like Baldur's G3. It's really fun like, really fun. Like, if you get a chance play Baldur's G3, do it, do it.

Speaker 1:

I'm like oh, fucking uh. Starisky from the movie where you know you like you can do it but not all seriousness.

Speaker 1:

The main thing I want to talk about with this Pokemon present is Pokemon Legends ZA or Z-Alpha or what now. Basically it's a sequel to Pokemon Legends Arceus, where it's gonna be about Zygarde and fucking the sixth generation Kalos, where mega evolution was a big thing and mega evolution was the best thing that Pokemon ever did. I shit you not, like with mega Blizziken, mega Charizard, mega Mewtwo and all that. Fans are loving this and. But here's the funny thing about this really funny how we're getting this. Like we were talking about a Pokemon Z for a while and then we were also speculating on a sequel to Pokemon Legends Arceus. I like how we got both at the same time with Pokemon Legends ZA or Z-Alpha whatever they're gonna pronounce this thing right after the success of Power, because they were like saying, oh well, you know, we felt like Pokemon game freaking, the Pokemon companies not listening to us. And here come Power World and they gave us shit that we like. So we're gonna go with Power World now like how dare y'all y'all traders like how, how can you do this to us? After all, we've been through like nah, man, like y'all been falling off and I'll. Oh yeah, I think we fell off, all right, but we're gonna put up Pokemon Legends, za, and then y'all come back. Y'all always come back, and that's just the vibe I'm getting from all this, but I'm still gonna play the game. I'm just saying like wild coincidence that they're putting this out right after the success of Power World. So it's like, oh, we need something to keep us relevant. Moving on to other things, this is kind of old news but because it's coming soon, I just thought be fair enough to go ahead and mention so.

Speaker 1:

This manga, sandland, by Akira Toriyama, is getting an anime adaptation on Disney Plus. And who? But hold on. This is coming in spring, but hold on, we already have Bleach on Disney Plus and I like how the move Disney is trying to make is put more anime on Disney Plus. That sounds. That makes me nervous. It makes me kind of nervous because on one hand, you're thinking like well, it's Disney, they got the money for it, right. But at the same time I'm like like I don't know, they're gonna try to heavily censor some of the things or you know, you know kind of water down the product. I don't know, I'm just not sure. Like it's, I'm just hoping it's gonna be okay, like I don't think with Sandland it's not like, oh, it's gonna be like mature it anyways, I'll even know much about Sandland, but I feel like it's gonna be like PG at best.

Speaker 3:

So I think it'll be alright. They're gonna definitely Disney it yeah, that's.

Speaker 1:

The thing is like it's got rank with that Disney magic into it and that really depends, like I'm. I'm still hoping it's gonna be good, but that's the best I can do.

Speaker 5:

I can only hope that's gonna be good, like, please, don't fucking on, please on the whole anime and Disney thing, it's like it's not much of surprise that more anime is getting Disney Plus now that they're turning Hulu and Disney Plus into the same thing. I used to have a Hulu subscription. They have cartoons and anime for days, yeah, but now that they're becoming one in the same, obviously Disney's not just gonna get rid of the anime culture that you know, it's Disney they like to monopolize, mm-hmm like I mean, they got Star Wars, they got Marvel, what else they bought up?

Speaker 1:

I know they bought up something else, but not company-wise, but I'm talking about IP wise, like X-Men Marvel oh, yeah, right right right right, yeah.

Speaker 5:

I mean like same universe, but X-Men is big enough to be his own thing yeah, yeah, no, now Disney has just been like absorbing a lot of IPs, like I still don't know how to feel about the fact that they own the Simpsons oh, but we're gonna get them back because, you know, with Steamboat will we be in the public domain. I love the fact that that's just an oversight on Disney mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

Oh, speaking of domain, let's talk about what we're really here for, well, what y'all are here for.

Speaker 1:

So the new Dungeons, dragons campaign, humblewood. It's including 10 original animal based player races, new monsters, magic items, this compelling adventure for newbie players between first and fifth level characters. But they have four subclasses that are kind of interesting to me for a query. They have. Two new subclasses is under community domain and night domain. For Bard there's College of the Road and then for fire there's golf law. Now let me explain those, especially for you took, since you're still new.

Speaker 3:

Well, yes, trying to get a cleric part. I know the clear he is, like the differences between you two okay, um okay.

Speaker 1:

I'm curious now, what do you think is a cleric?

Speaker 3:

well, based off of anime, especially the last, the last great clerk or whatever that I just watched um the healers. Essentially they can do small healers, large scale heals, area heals, stuff like that, right, or I'm on, you're not wrong, but they do way more than that what are we doing? Fighting whoa bro they're not to be fighting. They think they don't know no, they, they can fight.

Speaker 1:

I look at it a three, I am a war cleric. I fuck wait, what a war yes, war clip work there's a very versatile like you on the front line yeah thinking, not you, not just healing, I'm thinking yes, do me a favor when we're done here, once we're done, look up crap.

Speaker 5:

Guided D&D cleric. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I was. I was glad you the video talk. I know that we are talking about I love.

Speaker 6:

Joe Kat, but yeah, I know it's like he would?

Speaker 1:

he would tell you, just know, a team called the amen, it's like yeah, bro, a team full of clerics like that'll make the DM shit bricks.

Speaker 6:

I'm a oh hell no yeah with those two domains for cleric, I'm the community domain. That was actually a thing already for the Pathfinder version and I'm actually playing one of one of my characters is a community domain and it's community and trick, trick, trick again, okay, but yeah, so, yeah, and that one's because yeah, yeah, sorry, I was like I was about to go off on the thing, so nevermind, but yeah, so it's like that's the. I didn't realize that wasn't a thing in D&D itself, because it looks like it was the first edition of Pathfinder. That was already in there. So I was interested.

Speaker 1:

I was, I was interested to see that that was something new for D&D itself, like I think I'm surprised that it's not a thing before because, honestly, let me explain this for talk, like with the two domains, community domain and night domain. Community domain, by the way, there's multiple domains, like how I say I'm war domain, like war clear, that's my domain, to where I'm like all about heavy armor weapons, because when you say domain, I'm thinking JJK.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, like thinking of it like that domain expansion, just thinking about that now with me. I'm all about heavy armor, heavy weapons, like I'm like a weapon master, I can heal, I can like fucking tank. That's my domain. Now. With community domain, this is more like bars in a way, to where you you can buff and aid your team but at the same time it's like you can create food and give it like magical properties, like some shit. And you have this other ability called community watch, where you add a d6 to your allies on ability check to help them with attack roll saving roles and all the other shit. That's for community domain.

Speaker 1:

Night domain is more like okay, you can either be more like a I gotta put this. Essentially, you have dark vision to where you can see very well in the dark, but also you can control darkness and other shit like their veller dreams is a feature to, where it lets you increase the effectiveness of the sleek spell that you can cast and you can add a number of hit points to the spell that it can affect and allow you to choose the order of affected creatures. So essentially, clerics can do a lot of shit, like a lot of shit so it's one of the classes like a dark elf yeah, well, races, but yes.

Speaker 5:

I think, I think, I think I'm gonna draw a little bit of race as well, although I mean you'd have to finagle it, but drower, consider default evil oh, yeah, true, true how many subclasses can you have?

Speaker 3:

just one depending on what class you got like what class so powerful? You have two powerful subclasses well you have your class in so close. So I'm gonna give you an example if I'm a dark elf, can I be a cleric and can I have like a mage subclass, like multi-classing yeah yeah, I got him, I got him but is it for a specific?

Speaker 3:

I got like, I got to have something specific, to have like two major classes all right, like we got it up but the way you guys set up your dark elf, so that's just your race.

Speaker 1:

You can be a dark elf and be any class with dark elf. Now you're talking about being a wizard and what a mage and what else.

Speaker 3:

I'm saying, like it don't have to, whatever it is is fine. But I'm saying do they have, can they be like two major classes? And you have two major classes, yeah, do you have to have something special to have those two major class like? Like you can, you can be a single wielder, but you have a special, like I don't know, a special orb or something, so that you can do a wheel all right, there's a beat that you can do a wheel, so that's more like a beat.

Speaker 1:

So you can get a beat and do what? Not feet, okay yeah, features yeah yeah, yeah they call it feet. They call it feet um in but features, I have my character.

Speaker 5:

Patrick like work. Yeah, there you go. He is a troll, that is his race, but his class is a monk. His subclass is monk of the lotus, and I'm considering dual classing him as also being a part. One of his feats that he picked up is a cloud climb, which just pretty much means he doesn't take fall damage that's like if I were to say I'm now, here's another thing.

Speaker 1:

You can only do a maximum of 20 levels, so you have to be smart about this. So in other words, that's like saying I want to be a level 17 cleric and then I want to take three levels in Paladin, so that way I get some of the Paladin spells right.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, that's a downside to dual classing is.

Speaker 6:

I don't know if there's no puffing forest at all, but he created a character called absurd, like a couple levels in several different classes, and it's just like it is absurd, and so his name is very, quite fitting it's fun, as when you try to find like background reasons why, like in universe, your character has the background they have.

Speaker 5:

You know the character like that. It gets ridiculous.

Speaker 1:

Alright now here's another thing to um borrowed class. It got a new subclass called callers of the road. Essentially, you have one signature feature called travel with tricks, to where you can do various skills and abilities that you picked up along your journeys, and it can be from anywhere between arm combat classes, where you learn how to fight um by somebody you found on the road, or dark bargain, to where it allows you to channel some power from the warlock class, when you made a shady deal with somebody you found on the road too.

Speaker 4:

So in other words bars.

Speaker 1:

It's the same thing with Clare's. You're thinking like oh barty, sister support class. All you do is like sing and dance and use me.

Speaker 6:

Oh bar, yeah, fucking bars be lit too yeah yeah, and with with that calls a road, they have like a whole list of the options for travelers, tricks, and it's like you know acrobatic lessons that you learned from a rogue armed combat, that you learned from a fighter buying the wound, you learned from palette like the whole list of what you get from each one that you meet on the road. I wish this was a thing when I was making prayer. Right, this would have been perfect for prayer. But, um, but yeah, like they have a whole list. I'm just I have it up on the world anvil website and yeah, it's, there's it and it, so it's. It's depends on who you meet on the road, and so it's like, oh yeah, I met this, this, this monk on the road and they gave me boxing lessons, so now I can box, or, and so, yeah, it's pretty, it's pretty awesome yeah, oh, side note, have you all seen Law of Horizon yes yes, I did okay because it got me thinking of like they classes in subclasses okay think about this, another class that you might be interested in, I would say artificer, because

Speaker 1:

they can like build shit and you can like build guns and cannons and whatnot.

Speaker 3:

I'm trying to be a shit. I'm trying to fight and be fast no, all I care about is agility, speed, agility, strength, and I don't give a about like no defense or nothing like that. I don't do it's box, I want to. I won't do.

Speaker 1:

Well, hold on my boy, kira top all right, then you might like this one, the fourth subclass that's been announced, scoff law. Now this is a fighter subclass, so essentially you're a bar brawler like you can just pretty much like do a whole bunch of improvised attacks and like say, for instance, you want to take a chair and just feed over someone's head with it. You get like advantages and bonuses for doing shit like that.

Speaker 3:

I want to be. When I'm thinking of like speed and stuff like that, I'll be thinking of like ninja being a ninja or maybe like an assassin. But I also want to be strong as hell, like I want to be like a tank assassin if that makes it, I know, I know but no, no, no speed and strength, like I mean, no.

Speaker 1:

I got you, but hold on, I'm trying to think because I know you definitely want to be a rogue. If you want to try to, oh it's whatever got the most speed and strength.

Speaker 3:

Like I wanted to be a balanced, because if you're too strong, like you ain't be able to move as fast.

Speaker 5:

I will say having played a monk majority, at least mine is quite strong and quite fast. Yeah, I mean, if you select the right feats and stuff and pick the right subclass monks, they deal a lot of damage and they can be quite speedy and strong.

Speaker 6:

I mean because her character listed up my how big am.

Speaker 5:

I remember my half-orc barbarian and yeeted her at a lich, which is actually funny because Patrick also had what improvised weapons, so technically throwing Tanara at the lich counted as a fact yeah and then, Tanara was able to attack on top of that. So the act of throwing her was damage to the lich, and that's the thing is with this scuff.

Speaker 6:

Oh, with awesome, with the scuff law. You know that's their thing, is, you know, improvised weapon, and so it's like that's they can do that.

Speaker 1:

I didn't do that welcome back those 10 seconds I was out was trash like some monks, are a pretty good option when you want a balance between speed and strength but also keep in mind you have to roll for your arms that so like you got what, yeah, you have roll free, said you got you like the strength of the stats or specific steps like how smart your character is, how to roll for everything

Speaker 3:

yeah, you can have a one or two.

Speaker 5:

No, it's not that low for being under a certain amount yeah, okay, it can't be like you have a lot of that, you roll again roll anything under you can.

Speaker 1:

That depends on the DM, if he's nice enough, or he or she because the some the sound like Talos would play that shit he might be. He might be one of well, he might be a little nice, but if you're new, but if you, if you been around the block long enough, like he ain't gonna play with you yeah, I know your experience, I'm not gonna play with you with that scuffle, like I understand it being a fighter class but also does sort of seem like it'd be like a barbarian subclass.

Speaker 1:

But it could actually just be applied to a lot of different classes honestly, when I think of scuffle, I think of that one dude to where. You know how it's that stereotypical. Oh, we all start out at the tavern and we just meet up by circumstances and next thing you know, this whole bar fight break out, that's couple off.

Speaker 6:

That's what stuff was for yeah and I like the brawler yeah, I like the, the brutal brawler, that you get a level three. It's where, like it says, additionally, whenever you hit with an improvised weapon, you may spend a bonus actually to break it over your opponent. Doing this destroys the weapon, but deals the maximum number each of the weapons damaged ice could deal to the target, so it's like you can just break a stool over someone. Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 3:

I was muted. If you break the terrace, automatic fight well, if you're in a

Speaker 6:

fight.

Speaker 1:

You're already in a fight oh, you also can get features to where you can boost your initiative, so that way, whenever you start a fight, you always go first and I'm like yeah.

Speaker 3:

I need to find a group that can handle a new, talking, learn everything.

Speaker 1:

I mean I'm gonna work on a campaign, so I got you man. I for sure yeah, you got many said that on 3d printing. All that you know kind of promote the 3d printing side also on the side while I'm doing the campaign, you know yeah, well, you know, I got a high quality camera, so I could fix those pics

Speaker 6:

yeah, like just in the last half hour before this started, when I was looking at looking into that College of Road and the scuffle like those seem pretty fun oh shit so I'm like all right okay.

Speaker 1:

So cook you guys, who decided to actually send me some notes after all. He said he got nothing on Pokemon. He fallen off. But from what he's seen, people are upset that they didn't focus on the origin of the Pokemon war and are only gonna sell cuz. Uh, got got Gantama not really not got Gantama, but mega evolution close. But I see what you're saying.

Speaker 1:

San Lan seems to be promising but with the fall of bleach many fans are nervous by the Disney Ruin Toriyama. That's why I was saying cook you guys, that's why I was saying excited for the new development for DND more animal races include more diversity and curious how players will break their abilities and find the perfect OP class. We're just talking about that right now and some new things like okay, some things I actually want to talk about by then I forgot to mention in the nerdy news. Okay, so Christ of Infinite Earth, part 3 he's super excited about because you know Mark Hamill and the late Kevin Conroy's Joker and Batman's gonna show up. That's gonna be the true sendoff to Kevin Conroy because, honestly, I heard about the Suicide Squad game. I heard it wasn't that good and the way it was like they kind of killed all Batman on ceremoniously is like that feels like an insult to Kevin's memory, but that's just my opinion.

Speaker 1:

And then Toys for Bob. This is a studio where they're just going solo from at the base. Basically, toys for Bob is the studio that was behind Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. They're going solo from all at the vision, which is actually a fairly good move, because I heard at the business can kind of shakey towards like I don't know about y'all anymore. So I kind of feel good for them. But yeah, that's all the notes that he had add on to all this.

Speaker 3:

Spyro was good as hell. Let me tell you, boy, I was fighting this dude that had a big stupid meat stick, or was that precision too? Yeah, it was like PS2 era man, he had a big like a meat. You know the meat you get, like the big turkey leg you get from the um bear he would all keep hitting me with it and then take a bite of it.

Speaker 1:

I was so mad, I kept dying oh man, I remind me of that one scene from Rona Kent. They're like how you gonna fight me and eat at the same time.

Speaker 3:

Oh, you want to bite and this ain't got nothing to do with nothing, but I'm watching to. Well, I'm finished, or another anime, but I'm watching. Um, shit, oh, I don't know, fuck up the name, shangri-la, something okay, um. I'm on my mom chingere Shangri-La frontier bird dude in a bird mass. It's killing it. Somebody told me to watch something on HBO Max. I think I can never feel you or a Coco got to JB Ninja Kamui or something like that that might have been cookie.

Speaker 3:

I was like man when I looked at the trailer. I was like shit, it's next on my list and then I'm watching you. How I could show I've been putting it. I kept putting it back on the list because it kept talking about it, but I promise I'm gonna watch it this week and then I watched the live action.

Speaker 1:

I'm not giving you any on recommendation to you finish that shit though yeah, I'm like there's a whole bunch of shit I could have recommended, but I'm like, hey, man, before I be be a hypocrite, let me clear some of my own backlog first, because I know I'm behind on some anime yeah, I just don't like old anime in particular.

Speaker 3:

I mean, okay, they said the skipsay. The storyline is really good though so it is.

Speaker 1:

It is. But believe me to, I don't. I can respect that if you're not really all the into the old shit, but like when I say a bro, bro, this is a fucking staple. Please watch it if you can like you. You, hawker show, yes, I would, I would go to bat for you, you, hawker show, it's where I'm like the dark tournament and everything, the character development we are use, game, the gang and yeah, it's good. Um, is there anything else that want to say yeah, I got anything anything? Any recommendations?

Speaker 3:

well, we'll see how tomorrow go. I downloaded this game that everybody tell me to play it. Um, I downloaded it, like last weekend. I haven't played it yet.

Speaker 1:

Hell divers too oh, okay, I heard about that. I heard it was kind of good yeah.

Speaker 3:

I'm gonna go to my playstation today. We'll see. I'll play it this weekend. I'll let y'all know on next time we get on how I was good it is or not, but apparently it's PvE instead of PvP, so I didn't play the first one either. So it's gonna be a new experience gotcha.

Speaker 1:

All righty. That was all the news that we got. I'm glad that we got the news in before I started editing the episode and have it up. So, with that being said, this is the end of the nerdy news special. We hope to get some more exciting news for the next installment, but until then, y'all stay nerdy. Remember that great things are coming. We are zoning out and y'all go ahead and take it easy. Okay, okay.
